Chapter 30

"I'll send the files tomorrow, just tell Jared to check it. Yeah, I'll hang up now." Tahimik na pinagmasdan ni Saellyn ang nobyo nang tuluyan nitong ibaba ang tawag.

He immediately glanced at her before smiling. "Let's sleep, baby. I know you're exhausted also after the party."

"Saan tayo pupunta?" tanong niya rito nang maraha siya nitong hilahin papasok ng elevator.

Good thing that his mansion has elevator inside, sa laki nito baka isang oras ang abutin para lang makarating sa ibang parte ng mansyon.

"To my room, I'll prepare the bed for you and other things you can use before sleeping." He pressed the 6th and the highest floor.

"Ahm, bakit nga pala ang laki masyado ng bahay mo? You only live alone," she asked curiously.

The corner of his lips curved into a slight grin. "I have my own cinema, bar, and entertainment room here, baby."

"But this mansion is still too big for all of those," dagdag niya at bahagya pang ngumuso.

"All of our houses were built like this."

"Our? Your brothers?"

Tumango ito. "Hmm, so we can escape when being attacked."

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya. "Ha? Why w-would people attack you? Are y-you guys selling drugs?" alangan niyang tanong.

He chuckled loudly. "We're all famous in business industry, we handle different kinds of company and empires. That's why there's a high possibility for other people to kill us and attack us secretly."

Napatakip siya sa bibig matapos marinig 'yon. "Really? Have you ever experience being assassinated? Did you report it to the police?"

Kumunot ang noo niya nang makita ang bahagya nitong pagngisi. "Multiple times. And I didn't report them to the police. They died before getting caught."

"They died? Who killed them? Your bodyguards?" she added.

"Hmm," he replied.

"I guess being famous is really scary," she whispered.

She heard how he chuckled before gently accompanying her to get off from the elevator. Dinala siya nito sa harap ng isang pintuan.

He entered a passcode before looking at her. "Put your thumb on the censor, baby."

"My thumb?" Sinunod niya naman agad ang sinabi nito. The device quickly scanned her fingerprint before the word "fingerprint registered" showed up.

"Woah, what was that?" she asked.

"I registered your fingerprint, it will be save all throughout the whole mansion, so you can freely enter inside whenever you want," sagot nito bago siya akayin papasok ng kwarto.

A manly pitch black bedroom is the first thing she noticed, napangiti rin siya sa bango ng kwarto nito, amoy na amoy Dagger. Amoy ang sarap yakapin lagi.

"Your bedroom looks nice," puri niya rito.

Dagger smiled at her as he kissed her forehead. "Thank you, baby."

"But wait, did you really register my fingerprint? You mean I can enter your mansion even if I'm not with you?"

"Yeah, why? You're my girlfriend now. Everything I own is yours also," diretsyo nitong sagot.

"Sus, masyado namang ginampanan pagiging boyfriend niya. Ikaw bahala," she answered as she sat down on the bed.

"Stay here, baby, I'll just get some things downstairs for you."

Mabilis niyang hinawakan ang kamay ng lalaki nang akma itong maglalakad paalis.

"Saan ka matutulog?" she asked.

"In the other room, why?"

She giggled to tease him. "Bakit mo naman gagawin 'yon? You can sleep beside me here."

His eyes darkened. "Don't provoke me, baby, I'll really do that if you won't stop teasing me."

Tumayo siya at malambing itong hinalikan sa pisngi. "Dito ka na nga matulog. 'Saka wala na akong kailangan, I already cleaned up and did my things a while ago before our dinner."

"Baby," he said in warning tone.

Nagtatampo niya itong tinitigan. "Takot ako mag-isa, ang laki kaya ng bahay mo. What if may multo pala rito?"

"There's no ghosts here," he replied.

"Ih, kahit na. Dito ka na matulog. You told me to sleep in your place and I'm expecting to sleep beside you. Tapos sa ibang kwarto ka naman pala matutulog." Pabebe siyang tumalikod dito at nagkunwari pang hahakbang palayo nang bigla siya nitong hilahin pabalik.

Lihim siyang napangiti nang hawakan nito ang baywang niya.

"Okay, I'm sorry, baby. Dito na ako matutulog. Huwag ka nang magalit, hmm?" He kissed her neck gently that put a smile on her face.

"Okay, let's sleep then!" Masigla niya itong hinarap na ikinatawa ng lalaki.

He carefully placed her on top of the bed, 'saka ito humiga sa tabi niya at pinaunan ang ulo niya sa matipuno nitong braso. His other arm circled around her waist, embracing her body.

"Are you really comfortable sleeping beside me, baby?" tanong nito.

"Yes, why?"

"I always want your consent with my actions toward you, ayokong napipilitan ka. So tell me honestly if you're really comfortable or not," he said.

Parang may humaplos sa puso niya nang marinig ang sinabi ng lalaki. For a woman like her, consent is the most important thing a woman can give, and he's making sure to do things with her consent.

"I won't tell you to sleep beside me if I'm not comfortable with it. Besides, I know you respect me, Dagger."

Kitang-kita niya kung paano gumuhit ang ngiti sa mga labi nito, masayang-masaya.

Nag-iba sila ng pwesto nang gumalaw ang lalaki para isubsob ang mukha nito sa leeg niya. Ito na ngayon ang nakaunan sa isang braso niya habang hinahaplos naman ng malaya niyang kamay ang buhok ng lalaki.

"I'm so fucking happy, baby. I can't even describe the amount and level of happiness I'm feeling right now," he said.

"I'm happy too, Dagger," she responded.

"That's good. Because I want to give you everything I can offer just to make you happy."

Bahagya nitong inangat ang ulo at nagtatampo siyang pinagmasdan. "No Kobe and other man, hmm?"

She chuckled upon hearing that. "Seloso ka talaga, ha. Oo na po. 'Saka hindi ka naman inaaway ni Kobe, he's just teasing you a while ago. I also heard that he knows what's going on between us, so don't worry about him."

"Tsk." Parang bata itong sumubsob ulit sa leeg niya at hinalikan siya roon. "Gusto ko akin ka lang, Saellyn. Ayokong may kaagaw sa 'yo. Mababaliw ako kapag nangyari 'yon."

Bahagya niya itong kinurot sa pisngi. "Too possessive, Dagger."

"Sorry."

"It's okay." She smiled. "I understand you, just don't get aggressive and violent, everything will be fine for me. Hinding-hindi rin ako papatol sa ibang lalaki kaya huwag kang praning diyan."

"But you're fucking attractive, they might steal you--"

"Hindi ako magpapa-agaw. So just sleep, hmm? I'll assure you everyday that I'm all yours. Kaya ayusin mo mga desisyon mo sa buhay at dumistansya ka rin sa mga babaitang haliparot na lalandiin ka," strikta niyang sabi na ikinatawa ng lalaki.
