KNIGHTS I-7: Thirst of the Supreme (Dagger Knights)

Chapter 7

Saellyn held Liam's arm when they arrived at their destination. Agad na lumibot ang mga mata ng babae sa lugar at napansin kaagad ang abalang mga tao.

"Maybe they're shooting a scene for Flame of Love," Liam whispered as they continued walking towards the busy crowd.

"I heard they already shoot multiple scenes. Bakit parang medyo late naman yata 'yung casts introduction?" she asked curiously.

"They delayed it since they haven't found the perfect actress for the second female lead. Which is magiging ikaw since you already got the role, my dear," masiglang sagot ng manager niya at kinurot pa siya sa pisngi.

Saellyn nodded slowly. "I'm really interested with that character. Parang ang imposible naman kasing mag-shoot sila na wala pang napipiling gaganap sa isang importanteng character 'diba?"

"It's possible, my dear, of course. Remember that hit drama 'Bound'? Nag-shoot na sila ng scenes before sila makahanap ng perfect cast for one important character. You know how things work in showbiz, they're all perfectionist. Hanggang hindi 'perfect' ang cast, hindi puwedeng isalang ang 'okay na yan'." Liam flipped his imaginary hair before snapping his fingers.

Napatawa na lang si Saellyn sa inakto nito. She was about to tease him about his actions when Aristocle came out from no where.

"Omg, Liam and Saellyn. Hindi naman kayo nagsabi na nandito na kayo," masaya nitong bungad sa kanila.

They immediately bowed before flashing a smile.

"It's okay. We just arrived also, bruha ka!" Liam answered.

"Kahit na! Edi sana na-entertain ko agad kayo. Hello, my dearest, Saellyn! You're so beautiful today, dear. Pakiramdam ko bawat araw paganda ka nang paganda." Saellyn immediately giggled with Aristocle's remarks.

Hinalikan niya ito sa pisngi at niyakap. "Thank you, Ari! Ang ganda mo rin."

"You're so sweet talaga, baby." Pumulupot ang isang kamay nito sa braso niya at agad siyang hinila nang marahan. "Come with me, dear! I'll go with you for your script reading. Your friends from the dramas are inside also. I want you to meet them."

"Hoy bruha paano naman ako? Aba mang-aagaw ka ng alaga, ha? Hindi nga ako mapakali kahit isang oras lang mawala sa paningin ko 'yang alaga ko!" Nakapameywang na sabat dito ni Liam.

Aristocle rolled her eyes. "Pahiram lang, bakla ka! Kung gusto mo doon ka kay Dagger. He's busy over there for his scenes, go! Let's exchange muna. I'll take care of Saellyn and you take care of Dagger. Okay? Shoo!"

Marahang napatawa ang babae nang hilahin siya nito papalayo sa manager niyang hindi maipinta ang mukha.

They went inside a facility and Aristocle's just guiding her with the direction. Nang makarating sila sa sulok ay agad silang pumasok sa nakabukas na pintuan at ponagmumulan ng munting ingay.

She quickly roamed her eyes and noticed three artists on the long table, reading a script.

"Come here, dear. I'll introduce them to you," nakangiting saad ng katabi na agad naman niyang tinanguan.

Aristocle pulled her gently towards the three. Agad namang nagsitayuan ang nga ito at yumuko nang makita sila.

"Guys, I want you to meet Saellyn. She's going to be the cast for Friella's role," masiglang pakilala sa kaniya nito.

Friella? Is that my character's name? Sounds like a bad bitch. She can't help but to giggle with what she's thinking.

Hinarap niya ang tatlo na nakatingin sa kaniya nang diretsyo. She awkwardly raised her hand mid-way. "Hello, nice to meet you all. I'm Saellyn."

The girl with red dye hair quickly accepted her hand. "Hello! Omg, I didn't expect you to be this pretty. I'm Uriel po!"

The guy who looks nice and firm accepted her hand also. "Nice to meet you po. I'm Yuan."

"I'm Kim! Uriel's right. We didn't expect you to be this pretty in person po," masiglang sabi ng huling babae.

Nginitian niya ang mga ito. "You guys are pretty and handsome too. Produce 09 has a good eye with their talents," she said.

"You know our agency?" gulat na tanong ni Uriel sa kaniya.

She nodded her head. "I was in that agency for six months before I decided to work seperately. They're good with their talents. I'm sure they're treating you well."

"Yes po! They're doing everything they can to give us what we need. I'm so happy that you used to be in our agency," Uriel said while giggling.

"Let's drop the formalities, anyway. Just call me Saellyn." Mabilis namang tumango ang mga ito kaya agad siyang ngumiti.

They started reading their scripts for a start.

While reading her lines, Saellyn realized why the producers had a hard time looking for the perfect actress for this role. Friella, the second female lead, is a sexy badass woman who's fearless of anything.

While the female lead, Geniva, played by Madelaine, is a kind and hardworking woman. The character of Clark, the male lead, who's rich but rebel guy, is played by Dagger.

Friella has the most complicated role out of the main roles. Kahit siya, habang binabasa lamang ang mga lines ay nagdududa kung kaya niya bang bigyan ng justice ang role na 'to.

"They're literally talking about Friella." Her mind came back to reality when Yuan spoke.

"I mean, duh! Friella can buy those yachts! Ano bang maipagmamalaki ng mga pipitsuging babae na 'yon?" Uriel read one of her lines.

"Their boobs are bigger than mine," Saellyn answered with her line.

"But those are fake!" Kim.

"Still bigger than mine, whether it is fake or not. What's the difference anyway? Kapag ba sinapak kita sa labi mo at namaga 'yan, wala na akong karapatang sabihin na malaki nguso mo kasi resulta lang 'yan ng katarayan ko?"

She almost laughed with Friella's line but gladly, she stopped herself from doing so.

After acting out scenes and reading few more lines, they're finally done and she was happy that these three are great. Hindi siya nahirapan sa pag-deliver ng mga lines dahil magaan ang mga itong kasama.

After bidding goodbyes to them, Aristocle accompanied her outside the facility towards the set.

"You're so awesome a while ago, Sae! You really fit Friella's character," puri nito sa kaniya na agad niyang ikinangiti. "By the way, let's go meet Dagger. May sasabihin lang ako sa alaga ko and hindi pa rin naman kayo pormal na nakakapag-usap."

Her heart almost skipped a beat with what she heard. Aangal na sana siya dahil sa hiya pero huli na dahil naglalakad na sila papalapit sa lalaki na abala sa binabasang script.

"Fudge," she whispered.
