Our lips clash as he said that, my knees felt weak I want to lean into his arms and tell him I missed him but this isn't right. He isn't right for me I am not letting him use me again  "fuck off" I pushed him   "you think you can just kiss me and I would fall back into your arms and forget what happened a year ago and please you have a girlfriend now Leonardo did you forget that" I got up from my chair and kept a distance from him  

"I had my reasons to what I did" he raised his voice  "reasons or excuses Leonardo huh" I rolled my eyes  "you don't know anything, you don't get to judge Aphrodite" he pointed at me  "oh did I offend you I am sorry" I sarcastically raised my hand up in a surrendering motion  "you are just unbelievable" he scoffed  "I am unbelievable, have you seen yourself" I raised an eyebrow   

"yeah a couple of times actually" he raised his head up high proud of his own comeback  "and what do you see, cause I see an idiot" I crossed my arms  "no in fact I see a good looking man staring back at me" he smirked  "you think you have a larger dick than you actually do" I scoffed honestly I was lying  "you said otherwise on bed" his smirk grew wider  "fuck you" I rolled my eyes  "you already did a year back" he walks closer to me  

"you are the most annoying human being ever, I can't with you" I moved away from him and walked out . I went back downstairs and see Beatrix flirting with my employees  "hey boss" one of my employees stops me in my tracks  "yeah" I turn to look at her  "thank you for giving us the break" she smiles  "I am sure everyone is tired from the weeks of work" I smiled and excused myself   "Bea" I whispered shout  "here is the party pooper" she looks at me  "hey boss" the male employee gives a polite bow  "hey I need to borrow her for a bit I will give her right back" I smiled and pulled Beatrix to a corner 

"what is it" she raise a brow  "Leonardo came up to my office why didn't you stop him" I whispered shout  "I am sorry I was busy, did he do anything" she casually ask sipping on her wine  "no he tried but I left before he could" I sigh  "well you are doing great girl" she pats my shoulder. Just as she was about to walk away back to flirting, Lucy walks over to us with Leonardo following behind her his eyes on me  "hey ladies" she raise her glass  

She is starting to annoy I can't help but wonder how she and Leonardo met and why would he date her but not me what about her is fuck stop it Aphrodite he was always just using you just let it go   "Aphrodite hello" Beatrix waves her hand in my face, I pushed it away and gave her a glare  "Lucy was asking you a question" she shrugged   "oh sorry what was it" I tilt my head  

"Leonardo's family is having a ball tomorrow night, we are inviting you and Beatrix would you like to come?" she give me a big smile. She has even met his parents I guess he is serious about her I can't help but feel hurt by it  "so" she takes my hand  "oh um I don't think I would want to go" I chuckled awkwardly  "why not, come on is gonna be fun" she swings our hands for fuck sake woman let me be  "I really shouldn't, I am sure is a family gathering" I smiled  

"no is not, right Leo" she turn to look at Leonardo "everyone is welcome to the ball" he gave me a slight smirk  "see" she giggles a little  "I am sure Beatrix is busy" I looked at her  "no I am off for the whole week remember" she smiles. This woman is going to be the death of me  "come on you should come is gonna be fun, plus I am sure you are still single he has brothers he can introduce you too" she chuckled and I see Leonardo's jaw clench . I sure will like his brothers better than him a flashback of them taking care of me and Aurora that little angel made me feel giddy inside I missed that little angel maybe I should see how she is.

"sure" I gave her a smile  "great I will see you tomorrow, remember is a ball wear a ballgown" she waves goodbye and both her and Leonardo walks to the elevator  "you really agreed to it" Beatrix laughed  "shut up I had to she was annoying me" I lied  "she is" she giggled  "we should head home soon, Arabella left the house again and is in the penthouse alone" I sigh  "your parents pressuring her again" she raised a brow  "probably" I shrugged and walked over to everyone saying goodbye

The drive back to my place was silent Beatrix was probably tipsy as hell so she isn't as hyper  "Bella you here" I shouted once I entered the penthouse  "I am in the guest room" she shouts  "I am going to clean up and head to bed" Beatrix says and head to her room that she claimed the first time I showed her the place  "alright sleep well" I walked upstairs to my room and start getting undressed to wash up  

"Aphrodite are you in there" Arabella knocks on my door  "yes I am" I replied   "can I come in" she ask  "sure just let me get dressed" I got dressed and open the door for her  "what's up" I asked  "is dad, he is so hard on me I can't deal with it anymore" she sighs  "I am sorry you are going through so much" I sat her down on my bed  "why can't you come back, I know you and dad aren't talking but if you were home he would be quite and wouldn't say much" she whines  

"Bella I worked hard to get this place and support myself financially, I am not saying I hate home I miss you guys everyday but I am now independent and also this place is much closer to my company" I pat her head   "but doesn't mean you can just leave me with them I know I get it I am still a teen but still" she says and turns her back at me  "Bella I know-" I get cut off by the doorbell 

"I am going to go check who it is, get some rest okay we will talk tomorrow" I kissed her shoulder and leave to get the door  "who the fuck-" I switch on the tablet to see who it is outside  "what the fuck are you doing her Leonardo" I speak through the comms  "to see you" he smirks  "how do you even know where I live" I asked 

" I know all my partners address and personal life love" he flashes an innocent smile  "what do you want" I asked annoyed at this point  "like I said to see you" he waves at the camera  "leave me alone Leonardo and go back to your girlfriend " I rolled my eyes  "I can imagine you rolling your eyes right now and you know what I will do to you" he smirks . I squeeze my thigh together feeling butterflies down under when I shouldn't  "fuck off" I whispered shout so I don't wake anyone up  

"Aphrodite look I just want to talk alright" he becomes serious  "no I don't want to hear it now leave" I demanded  "alright if that's what you want I will, I really am sorry Aphrodite" he sigh and he walks away. I feel a slight pain in my chest but I know this is for the best he isn't good for me if I fall back into his arm I will never be able to get back up.

Just like a drug addict I would be addicted to him. He is the drug 

HI I am back I am so sorry I took so long I was busy with work and stuff and never got a break to sit down and write. But I finally got the time so here is chapter 27. This book will be ending soon but do let me know if you would like book 2 :D (a hint: offspring) that gave out a lot so I am sure you know how this book will end :3
