The sun poured through my window shinning straight on my face I pull the blanket over me and went back to sleep I was up all night finishing all my assignments and practicing for a proposal party event that I had to perform in
"APHRODITE" my mom screams "APHRODITE GET UP " I hear her run up stomping her legs into my room "urgh mom let me sleep in please I have no classes today" I shove the pillow into my face trying to block away the sunlight from shinning into my eyes "young lady get up I need someone to send Arabella to school" she pulls me off my bed and makes me fall on my ass
Hi and welcome to my life my name is Aphrodite Donatella Warner turning 20 this year still in uni and working part time to pay off my tuition fees and well my mom and dad are always busy working late they both are nurses and they get the night shift often or they would work overtime just so they can earn more and save up enough for my sister's college and my sister she is turning 16 this year and nothing much to say about her except I know she is my parents favorite because her dream career is more realistic than mine she wants to become a surgeon while I wanted to become a model and well they weren't really happy so I forced myself to major in business okay that's as much as I can say about myself I have a boring life

"Why can't you just drop her off while you are on your way to work" I got up and dragged myself to the washroom to wash up "cause I have to rush to work and your dad and I have no time to make a stop for her just do this one thing okay I have to go" she comes in to the washroom and kisses me on the checks before leaving
"Aphrodite I am going to be late are you ready " Arabella shouts "yeah just let me change and we can go alright" I grab some grey sweats and a crop top and tie my hair into a messy bun "alright lets go and toss me an apple" I say putting on my converse I took the apple eating it watching Arabella lock door "lets go I'm gonna be late " she runs to my car
"ok ok coming" I lazily drag my legs to my car "so I will be over at a friend's place after school" she says "alright who is gonna be there" she has always been alone at home since my parents and I are always busy so she would go over to a friend's place but it changes every week since she has like a ton of friends "just some girls we are gonna revise for our mid terms coming up" she says playing with her hair and I already knew she was lying "is there any guys?" I smirk giving her a glance "n-no we are gonna revise for mid-terms Aphrodite we won't have guys" she stuttered this dummy really think I will fall for it "I won't tell on you Bell if you tell me the truth" I threatened her
"fine fine yes just please keep it to yourself okay ?" she plead me putting her hand together looking at me making puppy eyes "alright but no 18+ shit got it now go" I parked outside her school she hugs me and runs over to her friends I never had many friends cause I was always an introvert and its hard for me to communicate with people but I do have a best friend Beatrix she is a what do we call it outgoing person kind of she doesn't filter her words and she doesn't give a damn about what people think about her she is just a bad bitch
Once I reach the house I rushed into my room trying to go back to sleep I hop back into my bed after taking off my sweats I hate wearing pants to sleep it's uncomfortable just when I was about to sleep off my phone rings "can't a girl get her beauty sleep?" I mutter frustrated at this point

M-right erm we have to go over to the studio and practice
A-we just did yesterday didn't we?
M- yes but instructor Leila says we need more practice so we got to head down there like in 15
A- fine alright alright see you later
M- alright see ya
I got up and put my sweats back on and grabbed my dance bag filled up more bottle and head out to the studio the drive was boring but there was some really good song playing on the radio so I had a whole karaoke with myself after about 15 minutes I parked my car and went up to the studio hoping that it would be a normal practice but it wasn't
"ah Aphrodite hello dear " my instructor greets me she was talking to a man that looks like he is in his 30s broad shoulder muscular body he looked hot not gonna lie he has jet black hair and tats all over his hand and some on his neck
"Aphrodite meet Carlo Manzo the man that hosted the event to propose to his girlfriend " my instructor introduce us and he is taken but I can't keep my eyes of him he is so hot I can't freaking focus on whatever we were talking about "Aphrodite ?" Macy pulls me out of my thought "sorry yes ?" I looked at her "we will be doing a duo dance once the rest is done with the first part of the flash mob" she tells me and continues to talk about the new plan and that means I have to come in more for practice just thinking about it makes me exhausted
"alright so what's our song then?" I asked stretching so I don't get any cramps while dancing "its Easy Breezy by Kiana Lede instructor Kate chose it and she already thought of a choreography for us " I just nodded and walked over to the rest of the dancer with Macy following behind me
"alright boys and girls I'm sure everyone is here and everyone has met the host of the event" our instructor then go on to talk about the plan while I eye rape the man standing next to her just on his phone its sad that he is already taken and even found his woman... shut up don't be thinking like that Aphrodite focus
"alright Aphrodite and Macy you will go with Instructor Kate she will teach you the new choreography" both me and Macy nodded and left to another room it took us 2 hours to learn the steps and finally we got it right I was happy that we weren't gonna dance to the whole song just a certain length

"Alright you guys have the recording right?" Kate says and grabbed her bag ready to leave "Yes we will practice before for next week before the event" Macy says "alright see you guys during the event and also both of you have a color theme to follow" she says " Oh what color" I asked packing my stuff "red top and anything is fine for the bottom just follow the red theme" she says and left
"alright so I will see you soon?" Macy asked while she pack her stuff too "yeah see you soon bye" I waved leaving I really just wanna go home and take a warm shower and head to bed and just hibernate before I could even exit the building "Aphrodite" I hear one of my instructor call out "yes Ms Leila?" I walked over to her "I heard that you wanna use the studio to dance after your lectures?" I just nodded cause I was afraid she would reject me ,dance has always been a hobby since I was a kid but as I got older it was my way of escaping reality for a bit and let my body flow and feel free from my problems
"sure I will hand you the key card when you come over for the next practice " she smiled and dismisses me I drove home and quickly got into the shower my parents are working late again and my sister is probably in her room watching Netflix and snacking like she always do
I got out of the shower toss on my pjs dry my hair and flop onto the bed and went straight into hibernation ...
