It's been a year since I saw her and she still stunning , after I said those words to her I was disgusted with myself I had to leave I went back to Italy and dealt with my mafia team there while my brothers deal with my legal business in New York and my dad handled the shipments in NYC.

I thought I could forget about her when I flew back to Italy but everything was so much harder, I miss her every second, hours, day and night I can't stop thinking about her and the pain I caused when I said those words, back in Italy all I did was drink and drink and occasionally had some sex but it will never be as good as it did with her I miss her voice when she moans my name I miss her sweet vanilla scent I miss everything about her

I then met Lucy at the club owned in Italy she approached me as a dare and I was so drunk I brought her to my office and fucked her, and somehow it ended with her giving me her number and soon enough I used her as a rebound to forget about Aphrodite but I couldn't stop picturing her when I have sex with Lucy or when we go on boring dates, I couldn't finish unless I pictured Aphrodite was the one I was railing.

I kept Lucy in Italy longer than she has expected since she was originally here for a trip soon she was begging to go back to NYC and she begged me to follow and I gave in only because my stupid brother told me he needed me back in NYC to check out a business proposal. "Brother I don't know why you are dating her but she is starting to get really annoying " Dane says as he drank his juice we have just woken up and we both came down at the same time and decided to talk about my club that I put him in charge of "I had to forget about her" I say and he knew exactly who I was talking about "it clearly shows that you had and still have feelings for her why did you do that to her" he sigh "Our job will put her in danger fratello" (brother) I take a sip of my juice "possiamo proteggere sua" (we can protect her) he shrugged

"non è così facile fratello" (is not that easy brother) I sigh and we both hear my mom calling for me "in cucina mama" (in the kitchen) I shouted "mio figlio," (my son) she hugs me "Sono qui mama" ( I am here mom) I hug her back "I thought you left again when I saw only that girl on your bed" she scoffed "mama, be nice" I chuckled "to her never, she is getting on my nerves, sua pulisce nemmeno i suoi piatti" (she doesn't even clean her own dishes) she rolled her eyes.

"she annoys all of us mama" Marcelo walks in with a file "is that the business proposal" I asked pointing at the file "yeah but I have something to tell you before I give it to you" he fiddle with the file "what is it a bad one" I raised an eyebrow "no no, the reason I asked you to come back to look at this proposal in person is cause of the CEO of this company" he looks at Dane "what about the CEO" I sat up straight "is Aphrodite" Dane spat "what the hell Dane" Marcelo slaps his shoulder

"you were taking too long" he rubs on his shoulders "Aphrodite is the CEO" he sighs and passes me the file "does she knows that she is signing with me" I asked looking through the papers "no she doesn't, I put George's name which he agreed too" he pats my back "she has been doing well brother" Dane says "we have been watching her back like you asked and for now there isn't any threat" Marcelo say "George knows about her" I asked.

George is a close friend of my father and knows all about our illegal business and ever since my dad retired he has been helping me with the legal businesses in NYC whenever I was gone

Marcelo on the other hand was just the messenger and helps check the documents that George will send to me while I am gone "I had to tell him cause he was about to agree to the proposal under your name" he sigh "then just keep it under his name" I gave him back the file "and tell George I agree with the proposal he made a good choice" I pat his back

After a year I finally get to see her beautiful face the face I missed most.

Once I was out of the conference room Lucy rushes to me "let's go home babe, it's getting boring" she whines "I need to be here for a little longer" I say bluntly "fine, then I am just going to go grab more drinks" she huffs and walks away "she is a hell of a job huh" I see Beatrix walk over to me "she is" I massage the bridge of my nose

"why are you back Leonardo" she sternly say "I just missed my family" I shrugged "don't give me that shit, you know how much pain you put her through why are you back now when she is doing so well" she lightly scolded making sure no one hear us

"is none of your business Beatrix" I turn to her "it is my business if you are planning to drag her down another hell hole" she lightly slams her cup on the table "look here, I know you don't like me but that doesn't give you a reason to tell me what to do" I told her off and walked away "Baby wait where are you going" Lucy runs after me "I need some alone time Lucy, just go drink or something" I waved her off and walk into elevator and clicked on the highest floor hoping no one is there

I lean my head back trying to process what Aphrodite said to me back in the conference room and a ding interrupted my thoughts I stepped out and it looked like an office, just then I heard someone talking "Bella you can't just leave the house like that" the familiar voice scolded I walked closer to the glass door and see Aphrodite one hand on her waist the other holding the phone facing the huge glass window which has the most amazing NYC view, I could look at her all day and never get bored.

"Bella for fuck sake I am busy right now, you know what just stop by the penthouse you know where the keys are" she huffs and ends the call "family issues" I walked in "what the fuck" she jumped a little when she saw me "sorry" I chuckled "what are you doing here" she asked walking to a bar in the corner of her office "I wanted some alone time and pressed this floor I didn't know it was your office" I rub the back of my neck

"well now that you know you can leave" she takes a sip of her wine "Aphrodite can we just talk" I trying my best to be soft with her but she is kind of getting on my nerve with that attitude I could just fuck her right here right now and get rid of that attitude of hers but I need to be civilized

"no, now get the fuck out of my office" she walks to her chair "Aphrodite it would be nice if you could stop with that attitude of yours" I was starting to lose it "or what huh, you going to punish me" she does the quotes sign we her hands "I will if you don't stop" I warned "fuck off" she scoffed and chugged the rest of her wine and turn her chair to look at the view

"you don't get to tell me what to do amore" I say and walk over to her, I turn her chair to face me and hover my body over her. Her innocent eyes staring up at me fuck I missed those lips of hers "Leonardo what are you doing" she whispered and I see her looking down at my lips

"I need a taste of this" I whispered and clash our lips together
