You stepped into the light, your eyes shimmered with the light silver makeup you had on. Your heels clicked on the ground as you advanced on Draco, a small smile on your face.

Draco could only stare at you, the green dress with silver detailing looked like it was made just for you. 'Right, gotta say something nice.' he thought, as you came to a stop in front of him. "Well.... you clean up good." he smirked at you.

'What is wrong with you, you idiot?!'

'Smooth move...'

'Geezus, we're doomed.'

Your dressed was an emerald colour all over, the skirt that flowed down to the floor had a sheer black veil over it so it looked darker in some lights. The bodice that had a sweetheart neckline was fitting to your frame. There was silver detailing around the part of the dress that joined the skirt to the bodice, and a small part in the front middle of the dress went up to under the bust. Small silver specs covered the skirt of the dress, when caught in the right light it was similar to the night sky when you see stars twinkle

You smirked at Draco, "you too..... Oh, I have something for you." you added, gently placing the silver flower in the chest poket of his dress robes.

Draco stared at the flower for a moment, before pulling out a similar flower out from behind his back. He stretched the band slightly, and put it around your wrist.

You grinned, looking at the similar flowers. "Are we ready?"

Lily and Tom nodded at you, before taking the lead out of the common room.

Draco held out his arm for you, and you took it. This was it, the ball everybody was waiting for since you and Malfoy had won the tournament.

You watched as Lily and Tom entered the great hall. Turning your attention to Professor MaGonagall, you took in the details of what was about to happen. One by one, the house champions were going to enter with their dates. You and Draco being the victors were going to enter last.

Draco stood behind Hariet Catwright, not really paying attention to her, and her date. She was obviously trying to make him jealous. 'Geez, just because I had her once doesn't mean she has to get all obssesive...' he thought to himself, watching as she looked over her shoulder at him, as she descended into the great hall.

You saw the way Hariet was staring at Draco, but you tried your best to ignore it. Taking in a deep breath, you gripped Draco's arm, as the two of you began your walk into the great hall. You could hear gasps as your fellow students watched the two of you enter together.

Draco couldn't help but smirk, he noticed almost the whole male population of the school glare at him. He was at the ball, in Slytherin house honour, with the most attractive school in girl.

You held your head high with pride, as you slowed to a stop with Draco, in the middle of the dance floor. You couldn't help but feel like you were glowing. Here you were, with the hottest guy in school, in a fabulous dress that made you feel like royalty, at a ball held in your houses honour. Things couldn't be more perfect.

'They'd be better if Seth wasn't being a b*tch'

'You just have to ruin the moment, don't you...'

'It's pretty well my job.'

You shoved the thoughts to the back of your head. Now was definatly not the time to be thinking about Seth.

"Now, we will let our champions have the first dance." Dumbledore's voice rang through the massive hall, as the music began its slow hum.

Draco snaked his arm around your waist, and grabbed your other hand. He could feel his heart pounding as the two of you got closer together, to share the first dance of champions. 'I wonder if this is what it's going to be like when we get married...' he thought to himself, before mentally slapping himself. There was no need to think like that, the two of you weren't even dating.
