Andrei's POV:

Closing the car's door shut behind me, I looked up at the bright neon sign. It's been a while since I visited Zeph's club. Then again, I don't normally hang at strip clubs. Especially those that mainly focus on little boys dressed in skirts and bras. Like last time, I was too early and Danny gave me a kinda pissed look as I passed him, but he didn't stop me. Inside, Alex was in the process of restocking the bar. To my surprise, his former demon was dancing up on stage with Zeph watching closely.

"She's working here?" I asked Alex and leaned against the counter.

"Hey, Andrei. Yeah ... sadly. I could go without having to see her every day and rub in my face how much more she earns than me. Likely because she's fucking Zeph, though." he answered in clear disgust.

"I can imagine. Might actually play into my hands, though." I rubbed my chin.

Maybe I could use her too.

"Into your hands? Why don't I like that look on your face?" Alex let out a sigh.

Shrugging once, I replied, "Can I get a beer? I wanna talk business with you."

He handed me one, and I pulled out my wallet to pay, but he waved me off, "My treat. So, what kind of business?"

"You once asked me about a job, right?" I began. "Well, you might be lucky since I got a big one ahead of me and I can use some help with it. How does $5.000 sound to you?"

His eyes got a little wider, "That's almost four months of my paycheck here. Wait ... What would I need to do?"

"Ride shotgun with me." I explained. "I need to steal a cop car from the Vice City police force. If push comes to shove, I want someone there to help me throw them off course. You do know how to use a grenade launcher, right?"

"A grenade launcher? Andrei that's completely-"

"Just smoke grenades. Jesus. Are you in or not? I can just find someone else and-"

"No! I'm in. I need the money, really. Just hope you planned this out well." he interrupted me quickly.

"I don't want to explain the plan to everyone so often. I will gather all people and then explain it in more detail. For now, I just want you to tell me if you're interested." I calmly told him.

Before he was able to answer, I felt a hand resting on my shoulder and stroking along my neck, "What are you doing here? The club's not open yet, so you're too early for my show."

The former demon giggled and smoothly slid onto a bar stool besides me, her back turned to the counter and one foot on the footrest. Her skirt, that might as well just be a broad belt, hiking up higher and revealing all of her leg. The look she gave me was supposed to be sexy, I guess, but I was not interested in this blonde bimbo at all.

"I wanted to talk to Alex here about a job he could help me with." I told her with a smirk.

"Coming to my club to take my workers from me, I see." Zeph stated as he walked over and leaned against the bar close to her.

I shrugged, "I need a small team for this one, and Alex here might be the right man. In fact, you could surely also help me ..." letting my voice trail off for her to finish with her name.

"Alexis." She said, reaching out one hand with a suggestive wink. "How could I help you?"

"Yeah, how is she supposed to help? She's certainly no fighter." Alex scoffed.

"Like you are more of one cocktail boy." she retorted.

"I have better stuff to do than listen to your bickering. I need a distraction, and Missy here might do the trick." I interjected.

"I'm sure I could distract you really well." she began and ran a hand up my arm, when Zeph cleared his throat. "For the right price, of course."

"How does $7.000 sound to you? All made within maybe one hour, max."

"$7.000?! You only offered me $5.000." Alex began complaining.

"That's because she doesn't owe me shit like you do. So either take the cash or you're out of this." I retorted.

Slowly but surely I was starting to get annoyed of this bickering. I might as well do the job alone if they kept being a pain in my ass.

"Okay I'm in." Alexis chirped and smiled.

"You do know this could end badly, right?" Zeph tried to interject.

"Listen, I planned this out over the last week. I will explain this plan in more detail to the two of you later. Just rest assured that I already made a backup plan just in case something goes wrong. You all just need to listen to me." I explained again and put on my most confident smile.

I didn't lie there. A lot of thought was put into that all. Preparations were made already. The gas truck I got from July was set up in a parking lot where it would stay till needed, all rigged up and ready. And the other little surprise was ready for Briar to call the number I gave her in order to bust us out without her having to show her face near the police. I didn't want to draw heat towards her at all.

As they both agreed, Zeph allowed us to use the changing room for a short discussion of the plan. It wasn't hard to tell them both what to do. They didn't have the most complex jobs anyway. They just needed to stick to it.

...

One day later:

Andrei's POV:

Today was the day. All was set and arranged. I just took a casual stroll through the City and took a seat near the fountain. Closely watching the police station, I took notice of who was going for smokes. It wasn't a real stake out. I just made sure to count the faces coming in and out of the station. Never hurts to know how many were working it today.

The patrol cars were, as always, parked right outside the front of the station. I knew from my previous job there that the cams could clearly see them. That might be a problem I needed to take care off.

Hopping off the fountain, I whistled and walked towards my car, that was parked on a parking lot near the beach away from the station. I opened the trunk to reveal the technical equipment in the back. The cover of the trunk shielding me from view towards the street, so I could get to my tinkering.

The first way of going about this would be to give Alexis a phone that could create a disruptive signal strong enough to fry the cams. But I can't just build an EMP that easily and explain to her how to handle it.

The second one was way easier. The station must have a general cable connecting it to the electrical supply. All I needed to do was find the switch cabinet and turn that off. Or destroy it all together. But that would likely alert them too much since it would be loud. So after taking my toolbox, I took out what I thought I would need and made my way to the station again.

I walked around the outside through the alleyways in a manner that seemed least suspicious. The cabinet was fixed to the outside wall of the station. It was in a small backyard where only one door led inside. The cam there was fixed to the entrance, likely to stop people from breaking in rather than stay away all together. The graffiti on the cabinet told me it was clearly not seeable.

Storing the tools there for now, I left again and made my way back to the car. There was still one thing I needed to do before the others arrived. I packed the small remote I prepared already and made my way to the town plaza. When no one was around and looking, I placed it on the underside of a table with some tape and then sat down.

All I need to do now was wait here for my team to arrive. Officers, you got no idea what's coming your way.
