The day was spent with the guys fussing over me. Making sure I had everything I wanted or needed. It was really sweet of them but I needed some space.

Just a little bit. They were suffocating me.

Sneaking out of the dining room I walked into the living room and sighed.

It was quiet and I could breathe a little better.

Sitting down on the sofa I pulled my knees to my chest. I was glad they were here helping me. But I didn't forget about everything.

I left for a reason. To keep myself safe because he killed someone. Then he went and saved me!

This was really messing with my head. I didn't know if I should stay or if I should go?

If I was safe or if I was in more danger than before?

Nothing made sense anymore. And I really wanted it to make sense. I wanted to know what I needed to do.

    But I was stuck.

My head was spinning with different possibilities and outcomes for me. My heart was saying one thing but my head was telling me to run far away.

Feeling the sofa dip down beside me snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked over and saw Nash.

He smiled at me and put his arm around my shoulder. "You alright, kiddo?"

    "I don't know?"

"Are you asking or telling me?"

I laugh a little and shake my head. "I just needed some quiet time to think about some things. Figure it all out for myself. But I still don't know."

He makes a clicking sound with his tongue. His free hand rubbing his face. "This is about the building. Isn't it?"

Letting out a shaky sigh I nod my head. I wasn't just going to forget about everything because he saved me.

Rex killed someone. And I didn't know if almost getting raped or seeing someone kill another person was worse....

"Listen kid, I'm gonna tell you this. Rex makes a lot of choices he shouldn't make. But that's because he's Rex. He makes a shit load of mistakes, but that makes him human. He will explain everything when you settle down."

    "Settle down?"

What did that mean? I wasn't going to just stay in this weird house. It had like four floors and people walked around in suits asking if there was anything you needed.

It wasn't what I was used too and I didn't know if I wanted to get used to it.

Having people clean my clothes and cook my food was weird as fuck. I had two working hands. I could do that myself.

"Yes. Settle down. If Rex didn't get there in time you would've been.....we don't want you running off anymore, Camellia."

    Here we go again.

    "Nash, I don't need protection."

"And I'm not saying you do."

"Yes, you are. I'm going home with Erik. I have work tomorrow."

Nash made a noise and sat up. He pulled an envelope out of his back pocket. "Speaking of that dude he said this was your weekly pay."

I reached for it but he moved it away. I reached again but he moved it away from me again.
