So we're hanging out at Lisa's condo now, and I just can't get over how good these gyros are. Yea, on the way here we stopped at some new place and grabbed some food.

"Man, this is too good." I said after swallowing a bite of my food.

"What was that place called?" Ro asked grabbing her drink and taking a sip.

"Some GyroHero something." Lisa said.

"Nah." I tried to think. "It couldn't have been that corny."

We all sat there thinking for a minute until Lisa said something. "Well forget the name, but we gotta go back there."

"Yea." I agreed. "You should learn how make them, Lisa."

"Ooo, yea! Then you could make some for my birthday."

"Eww." I said in disgust.

"What?" Ro looked at me.

"You want gyros as a main dish at your party?" I asked.

"No, I'm not having a party."

Oh yea, I forgot. Ro's doesn't really like having her own parties.

Ro continued. "But it would still be nice if you made some for my birthday, Lisa."

"What happened to the cookbook I got you for Christmas?" Lisa asked her.

"I don't think that's in there." Ro said.

"Well check when you get home. Then let me know." Lisa said finishing her gyro.

The phone started ringing.

"Can one of y'all get it. My hands are too greasy." Lisa asked.

"I'll get it." I said getting up and walking towards the phone and picked it up."Hello?"

"Hello, can I speak to Lisa?" The person said.

"Who's calling?"

"Jamal." He said. "I'm a friend of hers."

"Ok. One second." I pulled the phone away from my ear. I looked at Lisa. "There's a Jamal calling for you."

You will not believe how fast she started grabbing napkins and wiping her hands. She got up and speed walked toward the phone.

Lisa grabbed the phone out of my hand. I walked back over to the couch.

"Hey Jamal!..... Yea, that was one of my sisters......No."  She started laughing.  "Yea, but Ima have to call you back.....ok, bye." She hung up the phone.

Ro and I look at each other, then looked at Lisa.

"What?" Lisa asked us.

"Who's got you rushing over to the phone?" Ro asked jokingly.

"No one." Lisa said walking back over to her seat.

"Right." I nodded slowly. "No one."

"Seriously, he's just a guy I met in Philly." Lisa admitted.

"That you gave your number to?" I asked.

"Yea."

"Sure sounds like no one to me." Ro said. We laughed.

"Whatever, but he's really cool. Y'all will see when he gets here." Lisa said.

"Wait he's coming here?" I asked.

"Yea, on Friday."

"What's he coming for?" Ro asked Lisa.

"I don't know. I think he just wants to see ATL." Lisa answered her.

I leaned back on the couch. "Well I think he just wants to see you."

"Nah, it ain't like that. We haven't known each other that long."

"How long have you known him?" Ro asked her.

"Since Christmas time." She answered.

"Sounds long enough to me." I said.

"And long enough to fall in love." Ro added.

"Y'all crazy." Lisa said. We all laughed.
