"So we're coming to the studio everyday this week?" I asked Ti.

"Well for the rest of the week." She answered.

"I got stuff to do."

"Well, you'll have to do your stuff after we leave the studio." Ti said as we waited for Ro.

Excuse me? I remained quiet, but I really hate when people tell me what and what I can't do. Don't you? She ain't my momma.

"Man, is Ro even coming?" Ti asked me.

"Give her some time." I said. "She's still upset about the Dallas situation."

"Which one?"

"New Years Eve." I answered.

"Well she better show up today. She hasn't come at all this month."

"Give her time." I said again.

"All she's had is time." Ti said "Now it's time for her to work."

Dallas walked through the door.

"Speak of the Devil." Ti said.

"Hey Lisa, Tionne." Dallas said. "Is Ro here yet?"

"Obviously not, you dumb-" Ti started, but I cut her off.

"Actually, I'm about to go call her now." I pulled out my cell phone. Then I walked out of the studio room and walked into the hallway, closing the door behind me.

I dialed Ro's number.

"C'mon, pick up." I said waiting as it rung.

"Hello?" Ms. Ava answered.

"Hi, Ms. Ava." I replied.

"Hello Lisa, how are you?"

"I'm good, and you?"

"I'm fine. Thank you for asking." She said. "One second."

"Ok."

I heard noise, so I'm guessing that was Ro grabbing the phone.

There was a long pause. "Hello." Ro said.

"Hey, Ro! How are you?"

"I'm fine."

"Good. Are you still coming to the studio?" I asked her.

There was another long pause. "I'm about leave now."

"Ok. I'll see you when you get here."

"Bye." She said hanging up.

I put my phone away and opened the door to walk back in the room.

"She's on her way." I said walking in and sitting down in a chair."

"Good." Ti said.

"Well y'all wanna listen to the recorded tracks while we wait?" Dallas asked.

"Sure." I said.

He started playing this one song we recorded called 'Waterfalls.' It's my favorite so far. The song has a positive meaning, plus my rap is original. No one has done anything like it before.

"Man, I already know that's gonna be a hit." Ti said.

"Yea, me too!" I agreed.

1 hour later

It's been an hour since I've talked to Ro and she still hasn't come. I think she just said that to get me off the phone.

"Y'all ready to record 'Creep'? Dallas asked.

"Yea." Tionne answered standing up.

"We're still doing that song?" I asked.

"Yea, of course. Why wouldn't we?" She asked.

"Cause...you know what, never mind."

"Let's get started." Ti walked toward the booth.

Then I thought. "Maybe we should wait for Ro."

"Obviously, she's not coming." Ti responded.

"So, she's still part of the group."

"Is she? It's hard to tell when she's not showing up"

"Well if you'd talk to her you'd know!" I said to Ti.

"Man, I ain't got time for this." Ti said. She turned around and walked out of the room. I'm guessing she's calling Dalvin to pick her up.

I sighed. "Well I'll see you tomorrow, Dallas."

"Alright."  He responded.

I grabbed my small purse and walked out of the studio room. I walked down the hall, passing Ti. Then I walked out of the building, got in my car, and drove home.
