I woke up next to Jack, my head was on his chest and he had one arm wrapped around my waist. I looked at my phone and saw it was almost 10 in the morning, "babe, wake up" I said softly, of course he didn't wake up. I rolled my eyes and kissed him. Except he kissed back and cupped my cheek " I was awake, I just wanted to kiss you" he said smirking. I layed back down on his chest "I thought you wanted to get up" he said "I like this better" I said smiling. His heart beat quickened, but then went back to a steady rhythm. "Me too" he whispered.
**the next day**
I've been thinking a lot about my mom lately, ever since...my dad. When I asked him, he freaked out, now I'm starting to freak out. I rolled out of bed and changed into a floral skirt and a plain black crop top. I slipped on my white converse and took my hair out of my braid. I sat down at my desk and opened my lap top. I searched up Janet Thompson, random shit comes up, my heart sinks. I keep searching, but I can't find anything, not even an obituary, that's a good thing, but I still can't find her. "Morning babe" Jack said, gently kissing my neck "morning" I said, my voice tinted with sadness "what's wrong?" Jack asked "um, I wanna find my mom, but I don't know how, nothing comes up when I search her" I said. "Come here" Jack said sitting on the bed. I walk over and sit next to him, his arms wrap around me "we'll find her, I promise" he whispered. I nodded and kissed his cheek "we should get breakfast" Jack said. But I wasn't hungry, I needed to find my mom. We got up and walked to the kitchen, Kian and Andrea were making pancakes, all coupely like. "Morning" I said smiling "morning butt" Kian said. I laughed and Jack and I sat on the couch, "Shit, I haven't done my laundry yet" I said mentally face palming myself. Orlando, was in 2 days, I'm so screwed. "We can do it after we go to Malibu" Andrea said "we're going to Malibu?" I asked "yea, with a few friends" Andrea said. "K" I said. I had mixed feelings about beaches, especially Malibu. All of the prettiest, thin girls with huge butts and boobs go there, and there all gonna hit on Jack. Okay, yes, I'm a tad bit jealous, but who can blame me. It's Malibu for crying out loud. "Foods done" Andrea yelled, even though we were all literally 5 feet apart. We all sat down at the table and Andrea set down pancakes, fruit and syrup.I grabbed one pancake and a little bit of fruit and ate the pancake plain. "So, what were some of your crazy fan experinces?" Andrea asked wiggling her eyebrows "Other than people continuesly insulting me, so none really" i said laughing "what about you Jack" Andrea asked "Back in Dallas, a girl grabbed my package, oh and in D.C another chick grabbed my butt" Jack said like it was one of those things that happen on a daily basis (which is probably true). We all broke into laughter "fangirls give me life" I said "Yass" Andrea said. We high-fived and the boys looked at us like we were crazy. "So what time are we going to Malibu" Kian asked "Jc is picking us up at 12" Andrea said calmly. I looked at my phone, it was 11:45 "its eleven forty five" I said "Frick" Andrea said. We ran to our rooms and rushed to get ready "Karma, babe, i need my stuff" Jack said, knocking on the door. I grabbed his stuff, opened the door, shoved it in his arms, then shut the door in his face "love you" I said before slamming the door. "Love you too" he mumbled. I laughed and went through my closet, I grabbed a plain black bandeau bikini and put it on. I put a baggy grey hoodie on, and a pair of shorts over the bikini. I put my hair in a high ponytail, than slipped on my ratty black vans. "Kar, hurry up" Jack said, banging in the door. I opened it and pecked his lips quickly "your so impatient" I said laughing. He smiled and put his arm on my waist. I saw Lia and Jc sitting on the couch messing around, which was super adorable. "Ready" I said smiling "Karma!" Lia gave me a quick hug "I heard what happened, I'm so happy your okay" she said holding both of my hands "so I'm I" I said, the thoughts of my dad, and that guy came back to me. "Well let's head to the beach" Kian said. We all grabbed our stuff and went to the car, Jack and I sat in the back, I put my head on Jacks shoulder and he scrolled through his phone, I hated the thought of snooping, but I still had trouble trusting him. I looked down at his phone,
Madison: Tonight?
Jack: I don't know babe, I'm with friends
Madison: we'll find a way 😉
My heart sank, babe?. No, no, he wouldn't cheat on me...not twice. "You okay babe?" Jack said, babe, "fine" I said, forcing back my tears.
We got to the beach and I got out, "hey, me and Karma are gonna go on a walk, meet us at the boardwalk?" Jack said. They nodded and I clenched my fists "what's wrong?" He asked "you know, I was so fucking dumb when I gave you that second chance, GOD JACK, I LOVED YOU" I said, I was crying, people looked, but I could care less, "WHY?!" I asked, he ran his fingers through his hair and was silent. "You broke my heart Jack, I taped it back up, but then you crushed it, and now I can't fix it" I said, he kept quiet "you never loved me" I said under my breath, he held my hand "don't touch me" I said shaking him off. I went to the road and stopped a taxi, I got in, and looked back at Jack, he kicked the sand and ran his hand through his hair. I gave the taxi driver directions and he dropped me off at my apartment, the second I shut the door and went to my bathroom, I looked in the mirror, and hated what I saw, flab here, flab there, so much fat. I turned on the bath, ice cold, to burn calories, and got in.
