Claire's pov.

"C-claire" i heard a faint voice, returning to reality and leaving Dreamland. "O-ow" i opened my eyes and sat up. I looked over- still half asleep but suddenly woke up fully. I saw Jim sitting near the edge of the bed squeezing his chest and his other hand shook as he held his ribs. "Jim!" I quickly sat near him. "Are you okay?! Do you need your mom!?" I said as i was about to get up. Jim grabbed my arm and shook his head. "I-im f-fine just....im fine" i sighed then rubbed Jim's back and placed light kisses on his check.

Not long after Y/n came in. "Mommy? Daddy? Wat's dat noise?" Y/n asked as you walked over. "Is daddy otay?" Y/n asked, crawling on bed and leaning on my shoulder. "Im okay princess/kiddo, just a little hurt from my fight" Y/n nodded then hugged me and Jim. "Otay Daddy" "now head to bed if you wana have Blinky train you, night princess/kiddo" i said before kissing Y/n's head. Y/n nodded them left.

Jim relaxed a bit then let out a loud breathe before letting out a hiss and grabbing the edge of the bed. "Jim...honey, maybe you should go to a doctor or Barbara...please?" I begged. Jim shook his head.  "Claire- baby im fine- argh!" Jim groaned loudly again. "Im okay! Im okay!" He said as he let out a sigh. I looked at Jim still in worry till he leaned his head on me. Breathing shakily. "Im okay, just a normal pain in the butt" he said. He chuckled but i sat there then sniffed. Suddenly i felt tears flow down my cheeks. "Baby?" Jim looked up at me in shock. He held me near him. I buried my face in his neck, trying to relax. "its okay...im okay, come on baby..." Jim tried to comfort me.

'okay...im okay' i thought as i relaxed onto Jim's body. I know i should baby him right now but i just had a fuckin scare. "You okay?" Jim asked, rubbing my waist and kissing my head. "Mhm, just got scared, ya know how i am, scared to lose their loved ones..." I said before kissing Jim's cheek. "Okay, i love you and just so ya know, i will never leave you or hurt you in any way. This scar will nit take me now, especially when i have a beautiful
daughter/boy and you to still take care of, i will always be here" Jim said as he brought a blanket over us and cuddled with me. I laughed. "I love you to, and don't think im gonna let you lose, i Will make you come back from the dead if i have to" we both giggled.
