Two weeks, Two weeks of looking at this boring cell, 14 days of nothing to do. Where the hell is Zach, I mean come on he even has that guy I brought back with me (for a reason) to show him the way, is he not that smart or what.

I sighed for what I think is the millionth time this week. Loud snarls filled the air as well as my packs scent, FINALLY!

I jumped up and went to the cell door my mates scent filled my nose and a smile grew on my face. He opened the door and I jumped into his arms, I buried my face into his chest and breathed in. Zach's arms were tight around me but our little reunion was cut short when I jumped from his arms and punched the guy coming at us and I grabbed his gun, then I tipped all the bullets out and threw it across the room.

I grabbed Zach's hand and pulled him with me as I fought my way through, out into the open, I embraced the sunlight, I took in my surroundings and my smile dropped. The stuff holding me back from talking to my pack faded away and I shouted into all of their heads,

'Those who are badly injured go back to the pack house, now!!'

Most of them went but the rest stayed, I shifted and fought, soon they retreated. I ran back to my pack house, Zach on my right side and Corey on my left side.

I got checked up but expect for a few bruises and cuts nothing was major. When I went to my room I opened the door to find a nervous Zach,

''Zach is you all right?'' he looked at me,

''Bailey can I ask you a question?''

''Sure''

''Did they-did they......touch you?'' at his question I felt my face heat up and I looked away,

''No you idiot, if they tried to I wouldn't let them'' I mumbled, the bed squeaked as I plopped down on to it. Zach laid next to me and that's all we did, lay next to each other but soon I fell asleep thinking that I was finally home.

A couple days later

I was fully healed and now I was chasing James, he had stolen my breakfast; I weaved through the woods loving the fill of the air against my face. We both shifted and I caught him, he wriggled out of my hold and rose to his full height, but since I was Alpha I was taller than him, James stared me straight into the eyes,

'You know your challenging me right?'

'And what if I am'

'If we duel, you won't make it out alive' I said and pinned him down,

'Okay, okay, I give' I got off him and James stood up,

'Dude I fill sorry for your mate, when you find her I have to tell her every. Single. embarrassing story I know' if James wasn't a wolf he would be blushing right now, we had known each other for a long time so I know pretty bad stories of him and I would do it.

'You wouldn't'

'Oh she would' Corey said, as he came through the trees, I went behind a tree and shifted before putting some clothes on,

''Yes Corey?''

'We found stray rouge'

"Okay" I walked behind them, a patrol group was circling the rouge, by its size I saw that it was female, I looked over at James and staring at this wolf with love and that's when I realised that she was his mate, I smirked and grabbed one of his tops and throwing it at her.

''Go shift'' I said in an Alpha tone showing her who's boss, the lone wolf shifted and changed, when she came out I took her in.

She had long dark blond hair that was almost brown, fall in curls to her waist, her skin was pale and she looked to skinny. The girl is looks about 16-17 years old, I held out my hand,

''Come on'' she took my hand and I dragged her to the pack house, after getting her some proper clothes I sat her down on the couch.

''Start with your name''

''My-my name...is Alex''

''Alex who?''

''Alex Josefina" I nodded me head,

'Zach can you do a check-up'

'Yes, alpha'

I glared at him as he retreated to the office to found out some info, I looked at her, she was smaller than me and more fragile, and I could picture Alex as glass if she was hurt or if James hurt her she would surely break. I looked around and James was nowhere to be seen,

''Corey can you watch her? I have to do something'' Corey nodded and I broke through James wall that stops me from talking to him through our heads,

'James where are you'

'How'd you break through my wall?'

'I'm Alpha, so where are you? If you don't say I will just sniff you out'

'At the lake'

'Okay stay put, don't run we are going to have a nice chat'

'Fine'

I ran to the lake and sat down beside him,

''Why'd you run? ''

''I'm scared I can't take care of her, you know how fragile and scared she looks''

''James?''

''Yeah?''

''You know when my parents died and you took care of me?''

''Yeah...?"

''Treat her like you treated me, oh and I never got to say thank you''

"A little late but thank-you and your welcome'' I hugged him then took his hand leading him to the pack house, when we got to the lounge Corey was nowhere to be seen, I dropped James hand and looked around,

''Where did he go? That bastard''

''He-he went off with his mate'' Alex said

''Damn him, I give him a simple job but he runs off with his mate. Speaking about mates, James get your but in here now or I will surely bring you in myself'' James rounded the corner and they locked eyes but she looked scared. Zach came in and I went to him,

''James found his mate''

''That's not good'' I looked up at Zach,

''Why?''

''She is meant to force mate with another pack alpha to put peace between packs but she ran and now they are looking for her''

''That's not good.''
