Imagine: Jungwon

Plot: Jungwon is just an ordinary student with a group of friends. He's never had a girlfriend before or has had a crush. But what happens when someone he's never noticed before catches his attention?

Jungwon was writing down his notes while his history teacher was lecturing the class on today's lesson. To say that he was enjoying the class would've been a lie. He'd rather not be writing notes and wouldn't mind taking a nap but of course he couldn't do that. He finished writing down the notes and sat back in his chair. He threw his head back and let out a sigh. He felt tired all day today, maybe it was because he stayed up a bit to study for a biology test which was rescheduled for next week.

"Okay class that's all for today. There is no homework. Class dismissed", the teacher said while students began getting up and packing their supplies. Jungwon put away his notebook and pencils, along with his textbook before quickly going to his locker. While he was walking to his locker, someone accidentally bumped into him. He was startled by this and looked at the person.

"I'm so sorry! I'm in a rush!", the person said while fixing their hair and grabbing their notebook that was on the ground. They looked up and made eye contact with him. They gave him an apologetic smile before saying sorry and rushing off. He stood there and found himself glancing towards the direction they went to. He couldn't help but think of them. They were so breathtaking and had pretty eyes. Thinking about how they awkwardly smiled made Jungwon's lips tug at the corners. He thought it was cute.

He shook off the thoughts and quickly put away his textbook before rushing over to the cafeteria for lunch. By the time he got his food, all his friends were sitting down at the table.

"Hey Jungwon!", his friend, Sunoo said with a bright smile he gave whenever he greeted somebody. Jungwon greeted him and everyone else before he sat down. He began to eat his food while his friends all talked. His friend called his name and so Jungwon quickly looked up. His friend began asking him a question about something but something else caught Jungwon's attention. In the corner of his eye he saw the same person he had bumped into earlier. They were eating lunch with a friend, laughing and smiling. Jungwon couldn't help but look at then again.

"What do you think Jungwon?", Jake, the friend who had asked him a question asked. Jungwon wasn't paying any attention until his friend Niki tapped his shoulder. He looked back at Jake and to his other friends, who were all looking at him.

"What was that?", Jungwon asked while trying to play it cool. "What were you staring at?", Niki questioned while looking the same direction Jungwon looked at earlier.

"I wasn't looking anywhere, stop it!", Jungwon tried stopping his younger friend from looking. Of course that didn't happen so Niki looked where Jungwon was looking earlier and was shocked. He let out a gasp (a dramatic one of course) and looked at Jungwon with a small smirk. Jungwon knew that Niki saw who he was staring at so he immediately looked down at his plate of food and ate quietly, hoping Niki wouldn't snitch him out.

"What was he staring at?", their oldest friend Heeseung said, starting to get curious as everyone else.

"It's not what he was staring at, it's who he was staring at", Niki said while glancing at Jungwon, still having the smug look on his face. Everyone seemed confused by this which caused Niki to call Jungwon out to everyone. "He was staring at the person over there. The one wearing sweats and a white shirt", Niki said plainly while taking another scoop of his food. Everyone immediately turned to look where the person was at and they all began teasing Jungwon.

"Oooh does our little Jungwon have a crush?", Jay said while pinching his cheeks. Jungwon rolled his eyes and pushed him back. "I do not!", he argued back. Still, everyone was teasing him until lunch was over. Jungwon immediately put his tray away and practically ran from his friends so he wouldn't get teased even more. He went to his class and sat in his chair. He waited and watched as students started entering the classroom. One particular student had caught his attention yet again.

It was them. The same person he bumped into. Jungwon was shocked. He didn't know he shared the same class with them. They looked around and seats were already being taken quickly. They looked towards Jungwon and saw that there was an empty desk next to his. They quickly went to him and looked at him with a smile.

"Excuse me, is this seat taken?", they kindly asked. Jungwon looked at them and froze. He didn't know why he was like this. He was never like this to anyone before. It was like he couldn't form any words. He looked at them and was speechless. They were so pretty and he didn't know how to feel. They cleared their throat and awkwardly looked at him. He immediately nodded and let them sit next to him. They thanked him before settling down at the desk.

The whole class period, Jungwon couldn't focus. He always found himself glancing at them or spacing out. Soon enough class had ended and everyone started getting up to leave. Jungwon looked and saw them about to leave. He didn't know why, but he immediately packed his things and ran after them, quickly grabbing their wrist to stop them. They did and looked back at Jungwon with a surprised looked. Jungwon was also surprised at his actions but it was like his heart was controlling him.

"Yes?", they asked while looking at Jungwon. He cleared his throat and looked at them.

"Uhm- hi?", he said. They titled their head in confusion but giggled at Jungwon's cuteness. "Hi", they said back with a smile. Hearing them laugh and seeing them smile caused his heart to beat. He felt even more nervous then before. Why was he like this?

"I just thought you were really pretty and wanted to get to know you and thought we can maybe be friends?", Jungwon said really fast, almost like he was rapping. They looked at him and laughed yet again. "You're cute", they blurted out while laughing. Jungwon felt his cheeks heat up. At this point, he didn't know what the hell he was doing. He just let his body control him and didn't care.

"I think you're pretty too. I'd love to become friends!", they said with a smile on their face. Jungwon felt relieved and let out a sigh. He looked back at her and then to his hand. He noticed his hand was still grabbing onto their wrist.

"Oh sorry about that! I didn't mean to grab you!", he said while letting go of their wrist. "It's okay, no need to apologize", they said back. They stood there in silence for a bit until Jungwon spoke up again.

"I'm Jungwon by the way. Yang Jungwon", he said smiling while putting his hand out. They looked back at him then to his hand, then back at him.

"I'm Y/N, it's nice to meet you Jungwon", they said while smiling and shaking his hand. From then, Jungwon and Y/N became close friends and slowly grew feelings for one another. Who knew that just bumping into a person on accident can create such an amazing relationship.

New update! I deleted the other Jungwon story cause I couldn't think of what to write. I wrote this one because I thought of the plot a while ago and finally finished it. Didn't turn out the best and how I exactly wanted it but it's not the worst. I hope you guys like it thought!! Thank you so much for 65k reads, I appreciate you all <3 (and sorry for any grammar mistakes, I wrote this around 2am and I'm very tired lol)
