Brenda's pov
I was leaning against a car reading my book while Jorge was fixing another one. I saw Alex and Thomas walk by and we stared at each other. Alex smiled at me quick before they were on their way. Jorge saw me looking and stopped fixing the car for a minute and then got out from under the bumper and looked at me.
He playfully kicked my legs of the car and I fell forwards a little bit of the stall. He laughed and I put my book down and glared at him.
"You idiot, can I help you?" I said
"Hey language young lady, don't make me put you in time out" He said and laughed
"Shut up" I said laughing getting up and nudging him.
"How you feeling?" He said
"I don't really know. How are any of us really supposed to feel? I want Alex to have her mates and best friends and be happy me included as one of her best friends and I want us to be safe. I want Vince and Mary safe. I want you safe, I want everyone here and anyone else we get to be safe. I just don't want to have to keep running, hiding and fighting away. I want WCKD to be gone and dealt with. I want all of us to be free." I said
"We all will be free soon" Jorge said
"I hope so" I said
He kicked my foot again.
"Knock it off Jorge" I said
He just smirked. He did it again. He started running off.
"That's it come here" I said chasing after him
Thomas's pov
Alex and I walked to where Aris, Sonya and Harriet were. Newt soon joined us and Brenda not long after.
"Hey baby" She said to Aris and they kissed deeply before letting go
"Hey baby" He replied and smiled
"You look much better" She said and smiled and walked back over to me
He smiled and nodded
"Hey Sonya, you look better too." Alex said and the hugged her
"I feel it" She said laughing and hugged Alex back.
"Alex please come and sit on my lap" Aris said
"No you need to relax. You don't need me on you lap right now. You need to rest." She said
"Alex can I have another kiss then?" He said
She nodded and playfully sighed walked over to him and went to kiss him. Then he pulled her on his lap. She went to get up but he sat her back down.
"Aris I am too heavy you need to heal" She said
"Please stay here and you're light as a feather" He asked her
"Okay" she said and smiled and sat on his leg.
"Are you comfy?" She asked him
He nodded happily.
"Are you?" He said
She nodded happily.
Sonya cleaned the wound on his face and he hissed in pain but stopped once she had removed the cloth and cleaned the wound.
"Here drink this" Harriet said to him and handed him the cup
He took it and gulped it down and then placed it down.
"Took you guys long enough to rescue us" He said smiling
"It's good to see you too bud" I said and smiled
