Chapter 2 - A girl?

Author's note

I have changed the order of some events to later or added some extra some others scenes in so if you read some things different to the original time line of the films that's because I've added stuff in or saved it for later other than that it should be relatively the same to the film.

Thomas's pov

That's my name, Thomas. I remembered.

"Thomas" I said standing up

"Thomas" I said again

"Thomas" I said laughing

"I remember my name, I'm Thomas" I said happily

They stayed silent staring at me then all started cheering.

"Thomas" Alby shouted and they all started cheering.

Everyone started clapping and cheering.

"Welcome home Thomas" Frypan said to me and handed me a drink

I drunk it happily and smiled. Gally walked over to me and we shook hands.

"Good job Thomas" Gally said to me 

Then a unhuman shriek came from the maze and we all looked over.

"What the hell was that?" I said

"That my friend, was a griever don't worry your safe here with us. Nothing gets through those walls" Gally said

"Alright guys, let's tuck it in for the night. Come on, good night." Alby said

"Good job" A boy called Tyler said to me

Loads of boys patted my back or shook my hands and then we all started heading off to bed. I took one last look at the maze before heading off to my hammock and settling in and just trying to fall asleep and settle down. I sat there thinking of anything else I could remember.

"Wicked is good" I heard a women say from my memory

"What's out there?" I asked in my memory

"Thomas. Thomas. Thomas. Can you hear me? Everything's going to change" I heard a different voice say this time from a women

I didn't realize I started to fall asleep. My eyes started to shut I dreamed of my mate stroking my soulmark as they call it. I remembered seeing a beautiful girl in this kind of lab and there were other people there. She had beautiful brown long hair and soft skin and big blue eyes that made me melt on the spot. Could she be my mate? But that's just the question, who is she? Who is my mate? I fell asleep thinking of the beautiful girl. I let myself drift off peacefully and happily.

Morning

I woke up to someone shaking me. I looked to see Chuck.

"What? What is it Chuck?" I said tiredly

"Quick there's a new Greenie coming" Chuck said

I immediately got up to see everyone running towards the box. I ran quickly towards it with everyone else and stood next to Alby.

"I thought you said a new Greenie once a month" I said

"Well that's what normally happens which is why this is so weird and strange, we need to know who is in there" Alby said

The box finally came to a stop. Newt opened up the doors and then the lid doors to the box and jumped in and leaned down.

"What is it Newt?" Gally said

We only heard silence for a good ten minutes.

"Its a girl" Newt said 

"A girl?" Everyone gasped
