Thomas's pov
We ran inside and tried to locate the body of the spider bot. Spider bot? Damn it that's Alex saying it so many times I mean griever.
"Come on" Minho said
We kept running and walked to where I killed the griever and finally found it.
"That's disgusting" Zart said and looked at the black metallic bleeding bot jammed in the wall.
I took a closer look and saw something in there.
"Yeah there's something in there" I said looking closely
"You mean besides a griever pancake?" Frypan said
Minho walked closer.
"Woah what are you doing?" Zart said
Minho ignored him and reached in to grab the thing whatever it was and he almost had it. Then the griever's leg moved and he jumped back and removed his arm. We all jumped back because the thing scared the shit out of us.
"I thought you said it was dead" Frypan said
"What is it? A reflex?" Zart said
"You hope?" Winston said
"Okay come on, lets try and pull it out" I said
We all went forward and grabbed ahold of the leg.
"Right ready? On 3" I said
"1" I said
"2" I said
"3" I said
We began pulling it.
We were all straining and pulled it finally off and it did but we all fell down and we heard more of its insides come out. We all stood up and dusted ourselves off.
"You ok Fry?" I said and held a hand out
He grabbed it and stood up and dusted off.
"Yeah thanks man" He said
We saw the thing on the floor. Minho went forward and pick up the thing that was inside te grievers gut I'm guessing. It was gooey and sticky. He pulled it out. It was a silver metallic cylinder with a red dot.
"What the hell is that?" I said
"Interesting" Minho said and inspected it
"Ok whatever that thing is can we take this stuff back to the Glade? Cause I don't want to meet this guy's friend" Frypan said
"He's right, its getting late" Minho said
"Come on" Minho said
We all started running back to the main part of the Glade. Minho, Zart, Frypan, Winston and I quickly made our way to Newt in the hut who was talking to Gally.
"We went back" I said
"You went back? Unbelievable" Gally said mad at the others and I
"What's that in your hand?" Newt said
"Yeah we found this. It was inside a griever." I said handing it to Newt
"These are the same letters we get from our supplies" Newt said inspecting it.
"Whoever put us here obviously made the grievers" I said
"And this is the first real clue, the first anything you guys have found in three years right Minho?" I said
"Right" Minho said
"Newt we got to go back out there" I said
"Who knows where this might lead us?" I said
