RECAP- Manik solved Mr. Khanna's granddaughter's kidnapping case and was invited by the intelligence bureau to work with them on the devil. After working for a month they still couldn't find a clue and manik find an old file regarding the case.

Manik reached home ...to see his mom was already waiting for him ..it seemed like she wanted to talk to him ...manik guessed it but still kept quite

Manik- hey mom

APARNA- manik ....you came early today

Manik- yes mom I thought to spend some time with you

Aparna- oh please you both father and son know nothing but work ...stop buttering me and tell me the reason

manik( scratching his neck)- well I had to do some paperwork so I thought

Aparna( cutting him in between )- so you thought that home is the best place to do it

(Manik said nothing but smiled sheepishly) now don't show me that smile of yours and continue your work....no one in this house cares for me (with that she left to the kitchen before manik can say anything)

Manik knows what is wrong with her mother .... his mother does not like him doing this job ..in fact, she wants him to be a singer ....his mother always says that his voice is gifted but unfortunately he chose the same field as his father ....probably that was the first time he witnessed the quarrel between his parents regarding his career ...his father was happy whereas his mother was upset ...

Manik moved towards the living room and settled down keeping the file on the table ....Aparna brought water to him

Manik- mom don't be upset ... I was hoping that this case will finish soon but it took longer than expected ....once I finish this case we will go to Ooty together promise

Aparna - manik it is not that I am upset ...it is just I don't want to see you hurt, you know every time you come home hurt ... I feel like my heart is going to stop (cupping his face) you know na I cannot take that (manik nodded) then why don't you leave the job

Manik- ma it is not that easy...I love doing this ...and I am sure I won't like any other job like the way I love being a cop...

Aparna( sighed)- I know that

Manik- ma now stop being sad and give me big smile (manik took her to a bone-crushing hug) I love you so much, mom

Aparna- I love you too(kissed his cheek)

Manik- now tell me did you finish cooking ( Aparna nodded no) it's time for me to cook

Both mother and son started to cook ....and spending needed time together... that is when manik remembered that his mother was waiting for him to talk about something

Later while eating

Manik- MA you wanted to talk about something

Aparna-yes... About your marriage

Manik(stopped eating)- MA you aren't serious are you

Aparna - ultimately where ever I go people keep asking about you... That too moms with daughters mainly, so I just asked your opinion... do you have a girlfriend or something.

Manik- MA you know me... I don't have a girlfriend and I don't intend to marry now

Aparna- you are so boring manik just like your father

Manik- mom please yar

Aparna- ok but still I think you should at least try to date someone

Manik sighed as he knew it was useless to argue with his mother so he understood that this was his cue to leave now...
