Rainbow had woken up with a terrible cough, she was all congested and didn't feel like moving. She was laid on the sofa with applejack, with her head in her girlfriends lap.
Aj: *strokes rainbows hair* how are feeling baby?
Rainbow: *coughs* tired.
Aj: *rubs her back* why don't you try and get some sleep?
rainbow: yeah. *shyly* Um aj?
Aj: what is it sweetie?
Rainbow: *nervously* can you rub my back? You know the way that I like it?
Applejack smiled at rainbows nervous request she knew her girlfriend liked to have her back rubbed, when she wasn't feeling good or need to relax.
Aj: yes of course I can, just get comfy and close your eyes.
Rainbow got comfy on her girlfriends lap and closed her eyes before coughing a few more times. Applejack lifted rainbows shirt up slightly so she could touch her back as she knew she liked the skin to skin contact. She continued to rub rainbows back and stroke her hair, as her girlfriend slept. The cough was gone in a few days.
