I was about to leave with Athena after greeting Taliyah when someone made a fake cough behind us. And it froze me because even it was just a fake cough, I still recognized who it is behind my back.

Kanina pa ako libot ng libot kakahanap kay Luke. Halos isang oras na nung matapos na ako mula sa pakikipagsayaw sa iba’t ibang babae. Ang naabutan ko nalang din dito ay yung kasama yata ni Eillish. I don’t know her name but she’s so pretty.
“Fuck it! Where the heck are you?” napalingon pa ako sa kanya nang marinig ko itong iritadong nagreklamo. Panay ang pindot sa cellphone at itatapat sa tenga. Mukhang may sinusubukang tawagan pero hindi niya ma-reach out.
“Uh,” dahil kanina pa ako nakatitig sa kanya ay para pa yatang nagulat siya nang madatnan akong nakatitig sa kanya pagkalingon niya sakin. I can see the hesitation in her eyes, and it’s looks like she wanna ask me something but she’s just too shy especially now I’m staring at her.
“D-did you know where Eillish Kim is?” she finally asked me the question I guess she’s been wanting to ask.
“I don’t know.” iling ko, nanatiling nakatitig pa rin sa kanya. “I’ve been also searching for Luke Anderson but I can’t find that asshole.” patuloy ko.
Athena POV
Hell. Why is he still looking at me? Am I that pretty to stare at for more than hours?
After I asked him where Eillish Kim is and he told me he can’t also find his bestfriend I guess, we just both stared at each other.

“I’m Kaizen,” he offered his hand and waiting for me to accepted it.
“Athena, Athena Collins. The current CEO of Collins corp.” I showed him my smile again.
“Kaizen Compton, also a current CEO but in Compton Agency.”
“Wow, so we’re both CEO here?” I asked in surprised. I didn’t know he’s a CEO. Well no doubt because he’s fucking looks so professional

“What is your connection with Taliyah by the way? Well because you know only those people who have biggest connection on Taliyah are invited here or someone who’s a shareholder and many more as long as it’s all about company.” I asked him another question again. Not trying to get close to him but I feel comfortable and it’s like something pushed me to do this. I want to know more about him.
“I’m one of Taliyah’s bestfriend.”
“Taliyah is really lucky for having bestfriends that are not only smart and intelligent, but rich as her and… hot.” I lowered down my voice when I said the last word but I didn’t expect him to heard that.
“And what?” he asked and approached me more.

“Taliyah is really lucky for having bestfriends that are not only smart and intelligent, but rich as her and… hot.” she suddenly said and I laugh a bit at the same time smirking right after hearing her last word. Looks hot huh?
“And what?” I asked her and the smirk on my lips never fade off. I just want to witnessed how she will got blushed.
“Nothing.” she only answered me that and she’s really trying to distance herself but I also never stop from getting myself so close to her.
“Nah I’ve heard it, I just want you to repeat what you said.” I said starting to turning on my flirty mode.

Nakabalik narin ako sa birthday party ni Taliyah. Not thinking how I rejected Luke. Not minding people. All I just want is to have a rest. But when I was about to approach Athena, I saw her smiling like an idiot while talking to Kaizen.
May panibagong target na naman ang hayop na ‘to. Now I’m starting to doubt if he really likes Chanel or what.
Napailing nalang ako at sumakay nalang ulit ng taxi pauwi sa bahay ni Athena.
I’m exhausted.
Pagkauwi ay dumiretso agad ako sa kwarto na tinutuluyan ko at kahit hindi pa bihis ay humiga kaagad ako. Gusto ko nalang matulog.
