Hello! this is Mira speaking. I just wanted to make a few notes about this story that will make it easy to follow along.
this is my very first story! I am not a very experienced writer. I just like doing this for fun and I've been thinking about this concept for a very long time.
this story was set in 1977! but there will be flashbacks to Arabella's OG time. It is a time travel type of story.
all the characters are English except, prof. McGonagall (Scottish), Benji (Scottish), Marlene (Scottish), and Mary (Irish). though beware that there isn't going to be a lot of British slang because I am not British, I am American, and I am not familiar with it.
There will be LGBTQ+ characters in the story, so if that's not something you vibe with, fuck off and stop reading.
There will be an eventual love story plotline between my OC and Sirius but not till later!
There isn't a lot of information about the first wizarding war, so I will write some of my own plotlines about the characters. And it may not be what you know, and I don't even want to copy other writers cause that's just wrong. These are just how I see the timeline progressing during the war.
The characters are how I see them. I know that Marlene and some of the girls were not in the years with the marauders, but they will be for the sake of the timeline.
Yes, my story is focused on Arabella and what she is doing, but it will be jumping around to the characters to get their perspectives; this story is still in the third person point of view.
Arabella is a broken character. She has gone through traumatic experiences and finds unhealthy ways to cope during the story. (i will be putting trigger warnings dw) Don't think that she's this character who has her shit together because no one is perfect.
Last note, English is not my first language; Spanish is. I am sorry if there are some grammar/ spelling mistakes. I also want to incorporate some of my roots into the story, so there will be some Spanish in the story, BUT I will always put the translation in the comments or in the story itself.
