Evie's pov
"Thank you for finally going out with me." Haden said as we sat down.

"I figured after three years of working with you, I guess it was time." I said and put my handbag on my chair. Immediately a waiter came up to us.

"Hi, I'm Michael, I'm your waiter for this fine evening, what would you like to start?"

"Two glasses of your finest champagne, we need some time to order." Haden said, and the waiter nodded. He walked off, and I put my menu down.

"You seem to be very excited."

"I've been waiting for years, Eve, I've always had feelings for you."

"Haden...please."

"I know, I know, I'm sorry." He said and I smiled.

"Well, there's more to this date then just feelings, I also have to tell you some exciting news."

"Lay it on me."

"I just found out that I have family in Italy and I have to move there." He said, and my eyes went wide, my eyebrows raising as well.

"Wow..for what reason?"

"My grandfather is extremely sick, and needs help, but my grandmother refuses to get any help if it isn't from a family member."

"Damn.."

"Yeah, I know, crazy, but I also got a new job there so everything will be all planned out." He said, and the waiter came back with the champagne and two glasses.

He poured the rose gold champagne into the glass, and sighed.

"Are you ready to order?"

"Not yet." Haden said, and he nodded, walking off. Haden raised his glass, me doing that as well.

"To your new job in Italy." I said and he nodded, clinking his glass. We both raised our glasses to our lips, drinking a small portion of the liquid. I put my glass down.

"You seriously didn't have to take me to a posh and fancy place like this.."

"It was my pleasure Eve, you deserve it." He said and I smiled.

"So when are you moving?"

"Two weeks I have plans t-"

"Holy Fuck." I whispered and Haden looked me, confused.

"Hm?"

"Huh? O-Oh uh nothing." I muttered, and went back to listening to Haden.

Erich Blunt walked into the restaurant with an older looking male, smiling brightly as they sat down. I watched them, when suddenly Erich's eyes went to mine, and quickly I looked away.

"Haden I-I'm not really hungry, can we leave?"

"Are you alright?"

"I-I'm fine, I just feel a little nauseous." I half lied. I didn't feel nauseous, but I felt nauseous half the time.

"That's fine, just let me go use the restroom." Haden said and got up, walking away. I looked around, and immediately saw Erich's eyes on me. Erich suddenly stood up, and I quickly looked away.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.

"Well well well..." I heard Erich's voice say, and I turned around, looking start into his bright blue eyes.

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" I asked, and his face changed, a smirk now evident on his face.

"Yeah, we hooked up and then you sprained your ankle on my stairs."

"You must have mistaken me for someone else."

"No, Evie, I know damn well it was you, don't bullshit me." He said, and my eyes went wide.

"Y-You know my name?"

"Yes, I do."

"Erich I'm on a date, just please leave me alone."

"I can't."

"What?" I asked and he looked around, before bending down, his hand grabbing my jaw.

"I can't seem to let you go darling." He said, and I felt my entire body heat up. I saw the bathroom door open, and I quickly pushed Erich's hand away from my jaw.

"Leave me alone, Erich." I whispered and he let out a small exhale before fixing his dress jacket and walking off. In just a few minor seconds, Haden came back.

"Are you ready to go?" He asked, and I nodded. I got up, grabbing my handbag. Haden wrapped his hand around my waist, his hand resting on my backside.

I heard a brief exhale, and I turned around, seeing Erich's eyes on me, a pissed off expression on his face.

Layla's pov
"Hi Jackson." I said to him as we sat down at the coffee shop. I saw a latte already in front of me, which I immediately took a sip of.

"Why did you call me here?"

"Because Erich is going fucking mad." Jackson said, and I smiled.

"Please elaborate."

"All he talks about nowadays is your friend...."

"Evie."

"Yeah! Evie. Erich will not shut his mouth about Evie."

"And how is that my problem?"

"Because I physically cannot take it anymore." Jackson said, and I chuckled lightly.

"Jackson, I'm not going to lie to you, Evie is doing well, and I don't believe she needs Erich." I said and Jackson scoffed.

"Bullshit, I know that's bullshit."

"Jackson it truly isn't, I wouldn't lie to you, Evie is doing well."

"Maybe now." He muttered while taking a sip of his coffee, and I looked at him confusingly.

"Excuse me?"

"Huh?"

"Jackson why did you just say that?" I asked and Jackson sighed.

"Is Evie on a contraceptive?"

"As in birth control?"

"Yeah..pills? shots? a ring?"

"I don't believe so, but they used a condom, right?" I asked and Jackson scoffed.

"Erich doesn't use condoms, never had and never will." He said, and my eyes went wide.

"Y-You don't think Evie's pregnant..."

"Erich told me himself that Evie is taking birth control, but she doesn't seem like that kind of woman."

"What do you mean by that?"

"What I mean is that we could both tell this was her first time hooking up."

"It was her first time hooking up with someone in three years."

"Exactly." He said and I ran my hands through my hair.

"Y-You're wrong, Evie's not pregnant, she's not even showing any symptoms."

"It's only been a month."

"You'd show symptoms by now."

"That's not true." He said and I exhaled.

"I'm terminating this conversation, please never call me nor come near me again." I said and got up, grabbing my things.

I quickly walked away, leaving Jackson by himself.
