Evie's pov
I walked down the stairs, seeing Leonardo on the couch, watching a film.

"Hi Leo." I said and he smiled at me for a split second before looking back at his show. I walked to the kitchen, opening the fridge.

"Leo! What would you like for dinner?" I asked, and heard steps. Suddenly strong warm hands wrapped around me tightly, making me tense.

"Whatever you can make Mia Cara." He darkly whispered into my ear, making me take in his warmth and the moment. I turned around, looking at him. I slowly pushed him away, making some space come between us.

"How about a Puttanesca Pasta?" I asked, and he smirked, holding onto my hips tightly.

"I would love that, all you need is here." He said, and motioned to the kitchen. I nodded.

"Thank you Leo." I said and turned around looking into the fridge.

"You have a nice ass." He complimented me, making my eyes widen.

"Watch your mouth." I said and pulled out some of the ingredients I needed. I walked to the shelf, grabbing my necessary spices.

"I've only made this once, so if it tastes like shit, we can get takeout or something." I said, and he chuckled, staring at me intently. I looked at him, sighing lightly.

"Why are you looking at me like that?"

"Because you're beautiful."

"I'm very quickly swelling up with a child inside me."

"So what? I don't care, you're still so beautiful." He said, and I sighed.

"You don't care that I'm pregnant?"

"No, why should I." He asked, and I shrugged. I went into the bottom shelf, pulling out a pan.

"I have a question." He said, while I put the pan on the stove, starting it. I grabbed oil, pouring a little on there.

"Yes?"

"Trevor told me you aren't in contact with Erich."

"Correct."

"Why not?" He asked, and quickly I started cutting up garlic.

"He wanted to get an abortion, I didn't." I answered casually, kinda startling myself.

"So what's the plan now?"

"Take care of my baby, with the help of Nonna, and also find a job."

"I can get you a job." He said, and I smiled.

"Really? Doing what?"

"You could clean my home." He said, and I put the garlic in the pan, letting it sit for a few seconds.

"I don't know if that will be enough money to take care of me and my child." I said, and Leo sighed.

"I'll make sure it's enough, Evie I really like you."

"How could you say that? I've only known you for like a few weeks."

"I haven't stopped thinking about you." He said, and I put tomatoes, olives, capers, and red pepper flakes into the pan as well. I sighed.
