Draco imagines

History

You and Draco have known each other since before you both came to Hogwarts. Your parents are rather close and attended Hogwarts with each other in the past too. You found Draco rather annoying but at the end of the day he was your friend. You finished your fourth year at Hogwarts and summer is ending. Besides Draco being popular, it started to bother you because of the amount of girls he would be with. Were you jealous?
Time skip—

You board the Hogwarts train with your small group of friends but wanted to be alone during the trip. You were in Slytherin but were the nicest one to ever walk the castle. You couldn't help but wonder where Draco was.
"Hey y/n". You turned around and came face to face with Hermione. "Hi Hermione, how was your summer"? She smiled back at you, giving you a nice hug. You genuinely liked the girl, but given you are a Slytherin, it felt weird being friends with her and the rest of the trio. Don't get it twisted, you do care for Ron and Harry too.
"It was very relaxing, spent time at my families summer home, helped my dad with some of his ministry work. It's all very interesting". You replied with a smile back.
"Well I gotta go find the boys, I'll see you later...oh and if you ever need anything...I am always here". Hermione winked and went off to find Ron and Harry. She really is so nice when you get to know her. Under all that smartness and reading she does, she's fun to be around...
You found what was an empty cart and sat by yourself. As you sat down, you let out a breath of relaxation while settling in. You look out the window at all the passing trees and reflections in the water from the lake outside the train. The view consumed your attention. All the sudden you hear your door open. Your head springs up.
"Can I sit here ? Everywhere else is full". It was Draco Malfoy. You let Draco sit with you, after almost not recognizing him at all. He looked really hot. He's no longer that Draco you knew as kids. He's so handsome. His body is so sexy. His face is not chubby as it used to be. His cheeks are now slim. You felt yourself falling for him. You love him completely, but you didn't know how to tell him.
"How was your summer?" Draco finally spoke up.
"It was good, ya know, I really missed you". You turned to look him in the eyes. Your heart began racing. "I missed you to y/n". Draco replies and his eyes flicker between your lips and your eyes. You were so busy looking at his features that you didn't realize he had moved inches away from you. You wanted to kiss him so bad. "I know we have known each other our whole lives, and I wanted to be honest with you. Ever since we were little, I knew I loved you. I knew you were meant to be in my life. Now that we are about to start our 5th year, I needed to get this off my chest. You are one of a kind y/n. An earth angel. My soulmate. I don't want to live without you. I remember when we were 6, you used to let me play with your hair, run around holding hands, and messing around with house elves". You couldn't help but giggle through tears that were welling up in your eyes. Draco was right. We are almost 16, and we have known each other over a decade. You never thought of him as more than a friend. But now, it all makes sense. You always feel complete when you are around Draco. "I love you too Draco". You admit, while grabbing his cheek. Draco leans his cheek into your hand while a smile stretched on his lips. "Will you be my girlfriend, I mean...if you want to". Draco being all shy and nervous made you love him all that much more. "Of course Draco..since day one you have been by my side. I don't want to lose you ever. 12 years of memories I will cherish for as long as I love. It would be truly be everything to me, to be your girlfriend". Your words made Draco inch closer to your lips, still smiling like a school girl. "Can I kiss you?" And with that, you nod and Draco kisses you. Your stomach was doing flips and everything felt right. With Draco, The universe was in balance. Yours and Draco's  history has brought you to this point and you couldn't be any happier. You fall asleep on Draco's lap the whole way back to Hogwarts as he smiled while looking at your peaceful face as you drift off..
