📖 The Description
"They told me I had it all. But how can you have everything when your music feels like a ghost?"
In the neon-soaked heart of New York City, Minami Saeko was royalty. A piano prodigy by age six, a soulful chart-topper by eighteen, and mentored by the industry's greatest. She had the Grammys, the fame, and the "Empire State" grit. But behind the velvet curtains, the keys felt cold. Her music had become a machine, and Saeko was just the ghost inside it.
Seeking the "heart" she lost, Saeko makes a choice that shocks the American music industry: she walks away from the spotlight to become a Specialized Trainee at Japan's prestigious Saotome Academy.
She expected a quiet place to rediscover her roots. Instead, she stepped into a whirlwind of "idols," soaring harmonies, and seven boys who shine brighter than the sun.
From the jazz clubs of Manhattan to the competitive stages of Tokyo, Saeko must navigate a world where music isn't just about the charts-it's about the soul. Between the stoic silence of Hijirikawa Masato, the fiery passion of Ittoki Otoya, and the sharp gaze of the senior group, Quartet Night, Saeko is about to learn that sometimes, to find your own voice, you have to learn to sing with someone else.
The Diva has arrived. And she's going to try to play by the rules.
📝 Author's Note (Concept)
Saeko's journey is one of unlearning. In NYC, she had to be "The Professional." At Saotome Academy, surrounded by the chaotic energy of the Princes, she finally learns how to be "The Artist" again. Watch out for her "Piano Duels" and her complicated feelings as she realizes that in Japan, composing isn't a solo sport.
