Avaká never cared much for magic. It was just a silly bedtime story that her mother had stopped telling her a long time ago. Besides, the only people she knew of that had magic were kings, so why should a simple peasant girl care? But when odd things start happening to her, magic becomes very difficult to ignore. In a series of domino events, she finds her entire life turned upside down as she thrown into the middle of a decades old love tragedy which resulted in an infuriating dark haired boy who just can't seem to leave her alone. Its very likely that she'll die in this war. But anything is better than going home to face her mother.
