This complete novel is in final draft before publishing.

Looking for her adoptive parents, Louise discovers she has attracted more than she bargained for. This engaging story of friendship, family, and self discovery makes you rethink how our society deals with and talks about death.

While certainly fitting well within the thriller genre, it is not a splatter-fest, and despite the word 'ghost' in the title, it is not a ghost story. Let it get a grip on you and you won't escape.

I enjoyed the chapter. The patient note confused me. I need a text divider to set it off. I'm guessing it has something to do with the death study?

This sounds like me...I tend to scrutinize people's words pretty carefully, so a lot of times I'll end up calling people out on stuff. 😅

Confused about the patient note - thought I'd been flicked to a different story. Enjoying it nonetheless...

Thanks for having a read and your astute observations. The patient notes play an important role, even there are only a few as we get started.

Exactly. I hope most people see it this way too, because it was one of the ways I let readers know that they are well intentioned, loving parents, but that doesn't make them good parents.

Yes, you are right, but it was the absolute final deadline that they'd set themselves and, like a bad student, left it right up to the due date.
