Kiya Rose lost everything the day her pack was attacked. Her brother and her father, killed by the Others, her mother was taken by her own pack because she was one of the rare wolves who could birth not one, but two babies! Oh, and did I mention that baby girls are like, EXTREMELY rare among wolves. Yeah, say bye Mummy and hello to being a lab rat.
But Kiya doesn't remember that, after all, she was only a baby, granted, the baby girl who drew the Others to them in the first place, but she's since figured out how to hide that small fact from the outside world.
So, here she is, about to celebrate her eighteenth birthday and experience her first shift. It's not as exciting as it sounds, after all, she's just an omega, much more useful playing Cinderella than wolf warrior.
But, our Kiya definitely isn't a quitter. If getting her family killed didn't stop her from growing up into the beautiful, albeit rebellious young woman she is, then why should being an omega stop her from ignoring a command from the alpha? Why should her status stop her from being mated to the Alpha's sons and then ignoring their royal asses and the chemical pull she feels towards them in favor of unintentionally starting a war with the Others once she learns her brother is still alive.
Guess they got their test subject after all, but Kiya was never too fond of science anyway.
