I let out a huge puff of air from my lungs as I sat down on the bus stop bench. The only light source was the dingy lamppost that stood on the end of the strip. Even though it looked kind of shady, I didn't worry about it. I went this way home for years. Nothing bad ever happened. What I failed to notice was that a man had already occupied a seat on the bench. "It'll all be alright Sugarplum... don't you worry." A voice smooth as honey said into the silence of the street. Confused, I turned my head and looked at the stranger. But as soon as my head turned and eyes adjusted, I felt a needle stick into the side of my neck. I groaned and opened my mouth to scream but a hand slapped onto my mouth and restrained my body. I kicked, screamed, and cried as hard as I could but it wasn't enough. I felt my body get woozy and loose. "Just sleep baby girl. It'll all be alright. Ill take care of you..." The males voice faded in and out. Right before I lost consciousness, I got a little peak of the strangers face... I've seen it before... How could all this happen without anyone noticing? How?
