At only a few minutes old, Connor Hidey had already experienced agony, happiness, excitement, nervousness and pride. When he is with his mother, he is blissfully happy, with his father, he is the proudest he could be. But these emotions are not his own. Not even a little. Connor has never really had his own emotions before, because there was always somebody only a few yards away. Connor has the ability to absorb others emotions, so that whatever someone else feels, he feels as well. It is not a gift. It is a curse, and the only one that understands it, is himself.
