The Feelings That Were Never Mine

So, the idea for this story came to me suddenly and I am so very excited to be writing it! I hope you enjoy it because it's different than my other stories. I am not totally sure if it will be a short story or a regular one, so bear with me. I hope you enjoy!

 At only a few minutes old, Connor Hidey had already experienced agony, happiness, excitement, nervousness and pride. When he is with his mother, he is blissfully happy, with his father, he is the proudest he could be. But these emotions are not his own. Not even a little. Connor has never really had his own emotions before, because there was always somebody only a few yards away. Connor has the ability to absorb others emotions, so that whatever someone else feels, he feels as well. It is not a gift. It is a curse, and the only one that understands it, is himself.

P.S the prologue will be a brief overview of his first years, but it will not have the same format through out the story so don't worry. I won't always be writing in third person or talking about his childhood for the whole story. but anyways, enjoy!
