A haphazard collection of unlikely allies have to navigate criminal groups, foreign invaders, and corrupt governments to survive. But how long can a group of teenagers possibly last at the end of the modern world? What if Wattpad had servers on the Moon? Written for @SciKick 1000 Contest. The year is 2297. On the eve of a total lunar eclipse, an aging moon-based server farm goes dark. A pair of retired soldiers are conscripted to supply parts and technical crew. If they don't restore service, viewing parties won't be streamed and their small commune will lose vital clients. My villain vs. superhero story; in less than 200 words!

Every living thing is dying on earth. Organisms, plants, insects, birds, man and, everything else that's a living thing, is dead or dying. An ancient disease has waken in our bodies that has been around since the beginning of earth. Anything that breaths in earth's air or, drinks the water or even has been born on earth were all doomed. So, the last of the humans have sent a time capsule into space, hoping and praying that anyone would find the capsule and find the heart to help the living things on earth. Maybe even give them Another Way to live... ~~~ "It's ok to show that your upset, Jillian. Deep down we're all suffering, just that some people show it more than others." Aavet tells me. She's right. We're all suffering, but when we're forced to abandon our only home we've known for so long and leave all our love ones to die, kills apart of you that you'll never get back. Several hundred years into the future the inhabitants of Earth have spread out over the Galaxy and encountered extra-terrestrial life. Knowledge was exchanged and humans have been incorporated into the galaxy as a part of its multiculturalism. Most of the galaxy is at peace, although disaster always finds a way. She couldn't save her sister! Ja'ori was just a little too late and could only watch as her single remaining family got whisked away into the slave trade. Everyone said that Sals would be lost forever. Although Jay was never going to listen to their rambling. Ja'ori did something crazy. Something her mother, a captain of the guard would not approve. Jay become an outlaw to fight the outlaws. Scrounging up the twenty year old battle armour her mother used to wear Ja'ori dives right into the world of pirates, outlaws, mercenaries and bounty hunters. All to find Sals. To keep her little sister safe. But in the intergalactic underworld, it's kill or be killed.

It had always been the plan to return to Earth, living on Tanis was just temporary. However, finding the solar codes guiding humanity back to Earth, isn't easy. Only certain people can reveal the codes. Why? Because it's in their DNA.

"I'll tell you when you're an adult." These are the few words that have been repeated to Damon Ophia for his whole life. Damon's life is made up of secrets. In some cases, secrets are being kept from him, in others he needs to keep secrets, and in one instance he is the secret being kept from the rest of society. Alone and orphaned, Damon embarks on a life-changing mission that promises the answers that he's sought after his entire life. Friendships are formed, enemies are created and values are questioned as everything he's ever known is taken from him again and again. Getting out of this mess alive is one thing. Getting out of it mentally and emotionally intact is something completely different.
