This is a short, microstory from one of the prompts in '642 Things to Write About' that is unedited from the original writing. The space for writing is not very large, so not much is written with a complete beginning, middle and end. A lot of the stories I write from the prompts are just written as somewhere in the middle of a story that I start in my head.

Aarushi is a 25 year old Wattpader, crazily in love with THE HARRY STYLES. What happens when a dare from her two best friends forces her to send a dm to her long-time crush? Does he respond? Does she get her happy ending? How does everyone around her react to the situation? "It Started With A DM" is a Harry Styles fanfic, where a normal Indian girl, settled abroad, narrates to you how her life turned out to be because of a single DM. ___________________________________________________________________ This is my 1st fanfic, so I'll try my best. There might be some major differences from the current reality, as I might not mention some stuff about Harry's life that won't be necessary for the story. Therefore, this is my AU, and I guess that's allowed. You will find a lot of friendship moments, fluff, maybe even angst (I'm not sure yet myself), but lemme warn you, there will be NO SMUT. There might be slight indications of it, but nothing in details at all. So if you are looking for it, this is not for you, I'm sorry! The beginning is based off a prompt for the ONC India, 2021... So, some ideas might not be liked by most (including me LOL)... Please ignore them, and continue reading, because topics which my readers and I am uncomfortable with will not be mentioned again, and I will edit them ONLY IF THE STORY PERMITS! A revised fairy tale on a sleeping princess up a tower.

The life of many people are cruel or grateful. What people don't know, rather consider, are that we shouldn't find and explain the bad things. We should find and explain The good things. The positive things. And that's where my story comes in place. "Prompted" is a story of scenarios full of positive things. Things that'll make you laugh. That'll make you grin. That'll make you feel warm inside. And overall, get you in a good mood...i hope.
