The end of the bottomless pit,dive deep and see.......

We all have some small issue or two with our surrounding world. What if you could do something about it, with just the flick of a switch?

I pause. And I think. The world is constantly turning, it doesn't pause. Not for you, not for me, not for anyone. So you have to pause. You have to think. Don't let the world pass you by.

What if.. you had the power to freeze time? Well three children were born with that ability and used it for tedious, unimportant reasons. Getting an a on the test, saying something to someone so they can't hear it. Until, one day they pass the one precaution they weren't supposed to stoping time at the same time causing a wave throughout the whole world that puts the world in a 8 year freeze. With the powers they also inherited from their mother, could they ever find someone else with powers; or will they die trying?

Have you ever felt as if your in a movie and someone keeps pressing pause, then rewinds it and presses play over and over again? I doubt u have but I have because I have been living one day over and over again for who knows how long. I would wake up in my high schools bathroom staring at the mirror, but this is no ordinary day I keep reliving, no it is far from ordinary because that day march 15 at 12:00 am at my school there's a school shooting and me and my friends are right in the middle if it but the weird thing is I am the only person who gets shot and.....dies. But I have no idea why I've been re-living this horrible day, and I know this my sound unreal but I am living proof....well not exactly living. Alaina Hover is murdered but she has no Idea why will she figure it out and finally be with the one person she never thought she would see again or will she get stuck in time and never find out why she was killed in the first place. please give a try first time writing a story

At the moment I have nothing to say about why I've started this but it's a way for me to get the things I need to say out. I know right cringe. Anyway enjoy or don't that's up to you because personally reading poetry is kind of cringy don't ask why. I can't think of a better title for this but anyway like I said enjoy.

No one ever tells you about the pause in your life between high school and your life. The summer of not quite being a child, but not an adult. That's what I'm here for.

Did I have a plan? Yeah, I did. Most high school graduates don't know exactly where they want to go to college, let alone what they want to study. Some start college immediately, not wanting to postpone the dreadful years of school any longer. Others take a gap year. A pause year. A year dedicated to figuring out what they want to do with their lives. They work, travel, or just stay at home, pondering the possibilities of professions. I intended on taking a gap year. After all, what's the rush? Why stress myself in finding the perfect career path when I can take a year off to travel and try new things? The last chance I get to take off, without a job, family, or school to tie me down. I had plans of backpacking along the relaxed streets of Italy and Switzerland in Europe, trekking the wilderness of the Amazon river in Brazil, or helping to start schools in South Africa. Exotic. That's what all my plans were. They all consisted of exploring somewhere new, completely out of my comfort zone. None of my plans included staying bored and indoors. I didn't even consider it. I didn't consider the fact that I would be stuck inside all day, with sterile instruments and stark white walls enclosing around me. No, dying in a hospital room was never part of my plan.

I grip the steering wheel tightly, sweat beading on my forehead. The road ahead is lit by the late sunset, glinting orangey pink. I glance at the speedometer quickly, noticing I'm going slightly over the speed limit, but I don't really care. The car jolts as it hits a small bump, shaking all the junk in my car's trunk and making me jump. I glance in the rear view mirror, checking for the black Mustang that had been following me.

So, I discovered pause games! I like them! Now I'm going on a spree, so here!
