Despite the title, the story introduces a vast expansion in the world and lore of gate as well as changes, but everything remains true to the Gate formula. At first It was supposed to be only a Gate X Marine fanfic but over time it developed into an alternative plot line diverging from the original so don't be surprised why the first season strictly sticks to canon.

This story is discontinued, waiting for its re-write version but hey. You can read it if you want, nobody's forcing you. Especially the ending of the final chapter.
