Over the last decade, Africa has experienced a number of issues ranging from economic, environmental and political spaces. Poverty, food security and environmental degradation will forever be an enemy of the people due to climate changes. This has been a debate for quite sometimes. It's clear that very few people take time to notice the connection of body responses to this effects in relation to education. Under UN Framework Convention on climate change, Article 6 on education, training and public awareness there's a requirement to incorporate climate change into learning. Kenya is a good example of a nation that is experiencing unpredictable weather patterns hence a challenge to farmers who are the backbone of the Kenyan economy. Irregular rainfall and heat waves can be experienced due to climate issues. This in turn affects access to education, alters the menses flow in girls and can be disastrous to people with affluent households. Prolonged droughts can keep students out of school due to unavailability of clean water for drinking, washing and even cooking especially in highly populated institutions. Without having a keen eye, we can easily experience outbreak of diseases and this would still keep the students out of school, as a result of climate change. Besides, rains can disrupt physical education lessons which are as essential as class work. Research has shown that one billion people are affected by droughts every year. This has led to an increase in death rates, resulting in low population. With the use of inorganic fertilizers, too much emissions of poisonous gases have led to global warming.
