The Wind in the Willows is a children's novel by Kenneth Grahame, first published in 1908. Alternately slow moving and fast paced, it focuses on four anthropomorphised animals in a pastoral version of Edwardian England. The novel is notable for its mixture of mysticism, adventure, morality and camaraderie, and celebrated for its evocation of the nature of the Thames Valley. The novel was in its 31st printing when playwright A. A. Milne adapted part of it for the stage as Toad of Toad Hall in 1929. Almost a century later, it was adapted again for the stage as a musical by Julian Fellowes. In 2003, The Wind in the Willows was listed at number 16 in the BBC's survey The Big Read.

The upper Yoris are very entitled people, especially the children. Any form of correction from lower Yoris can be seen as disrespect. Any form of correction from humans will be seen as disrespect. I figured that the only way to have a better life was to befriend him. It didn't start out that way of course, I was friends with him but as time passed, he became more conceited and entitled. I was better than him at flying lessons, mobility and just more intelligent but no entitled upper Yoris would ever befriend a Middle Sector Yoris who is better than them, so, I made myself look weaker in his eyes and made him pity me so that he'll help me out. Now I have to decide to between my people or him who is the living symbolism of my peoples oppression

*THIS IS MY FIRST STORY BEWARE* Noelle Adams, a young woman with the kindness of saint, never imagined her life would take a chilling turn when she accepted a position at the imposing Veilwood Mental Asylum. Her assignment: to care for Maverick, the institution's most enigmatic, feared, and wanted paitent. Known as "the silent one," and convicted of arson, Maverick's reputation echoed through the asylum's grim corridors as a living enigma, a man who could never utter a single word in his life. Along the way, Noelle inches closer to unwinding the mystery of the asylum, why everyone is so drawn to Maverick, including herself. ⚠️note: This is all in a fictional world and does not relate to real life scenarios. In a case of my story relating to real life events or people is pure coincidence. If you don't like it, don't read it. Thank you and have a good time reading :)

This is a book of advice, from an amateur hoping to go into Musical Theatre as a career. These are tips and tricks that she has picked up in the 10+ years she's been singing and learning how to sing. Please note the use of the word "amateur". She is not an expert and the things she writes are often off the top of her head, based on her experience. She will reiterate this several times within the book and she apologises for the repetition. Thank you for reading and she's hopes you enjoy :)

    5. No Redemption for the Wicked There's a fair degree of classical inspiration in this short story. If it feels wordy and preachy, that is because it is. Stories such as Les Misérables and The Death of Ivan Ilyich were foundations for this short. I wanted to try something a different bit from my more extravagant set pieces and just have a down to earth, human tale. Though, I do hope I wrote something a bit easy to wade through than the classics, they are ultimately good books but they tend to act as fair evidence that people didn't have a lot to do with their time back in the day. The prompt that helped inspire this story came from Pirates of the Caribbean. Not quite what you could call an example of classical writing, but honestly some of the themes of morality and such strike chords with those century old works. This is also the first cover that diverges from the mould I was setting up and remains one of my favourites. I especially like how the scales alter the judges silhouette. Prompt: 5. One good deed is not enough to redeem a man of a lifetime of wickedness. Though it seems enough to condemn him. "Captain Jack Sparrow, Pirates of the Caribbean"
