[Name] lets out a gasp, her eyes snapping open as she pants heavily. She sits up in her bed, staring down at her lap as she's trying to calm herself, but there's no way she can. She saw someone die right in front of her and she wasn't able to do anything to save them. Her eyes scan her room, looking for a clock and she sees that it's early in the morning.
She holds her head in her hands, recalling what had happened. It was a man that had died in her dream with this sharp debris or something sharp sticking out of the man's chest. She wasn't really able to see around or notice anyone else around the man, but she's aware that she wasn't able to save the man. She won't forget the man's face either.
[Name] gets out of her bed, almost falling backwards, but she stables herself. She doesn't like the nightmare and she can't forget the other sight she witnessed with the man dying in a hospital later. There were many gadgets attached to the man's chest after someone removed the sharp debris in the man's chest. But she remembers the smile on the man's face when he passed.
To top it all on, [Name] just got into an argument with Bakugo recently too. She's angry at him for what he said to her, but she's glad that Kaminari went after her. Her and Kaminari talked to each other the whole night until they decided to go to bed. She's grateful for Kaminari's humorous nature because [Name] would have gone to bed crying. Although, [Name] did fall asleep crying, but she didn't cry the whole night in her room.
She can't even forget about Eri. That little girl is stuck in [Name]'s head and all these things are starting to make [Name] stress out. She wants to do something about saving that little girl, but she hasn't told anyone about Eri either. She's also at fault because she didn't say anything to anyone about her.
Plus [Name] has her work study this morning too. She has to get a good amount of sleep so she can function perfectly while at Fatgum's agency. She's also glad that Kirishima will be there with her too and hopefully his bright and cheerful personality will rub onto hers. Plus she's gotta do good in front of Amajiki if she wants to impress him to show that she's a good pick to be part of Fatgum's agency.

"Those punks are hoodlums keep gettin' into so many fights these days!" Fatgum exclaimed, carrying a tray of takoyaki. [Name] and Kirishima walked alongside him as Amajiki is walking behind them. "I'm starvin'! Yeah, the hero agencies 'round here have been wantin' a fighting type. Red Riot, Adolpha, you guys are perfect."
"I look forward to working with you!" Kirishima said, knocking his fists together.
"Me too," [Name] said, nodding her head.
Kirishima smiles. "Fourth Kind wasn't taking work study students, so I'm grateful to you for taking me on!" Kirishima informed.
"You kept coming at me," Amajiki spoke, looking at the back of Kirishima. "It was scary."
"Scary!" [Name] gasped, her eyes snap to Kirishima. "You scared Suneater! That's mean, Red Riot."
"I didn't mean to!"
"If Tamaki could only do somethin' about his weak mind, he'd be a great talent!" Fatgum spoke.
Amajiki places his hands on his chest. "That pressure leads me to even lower lows..." He lowers his hood. "It's always like this...! This man scouted me in order to torment me!"
"He's trying to encourage you, Suneater," [Name] assured, speaking with a smile. "That's just how it sounds like to me."
"Fat, eat ours!"
"I will tomorrow!" Fatgum responded.
Amajiki removes his hand from his hood, looking down. "I can't be cheerful and positive like you or Mirio."
"I feel the same sometimes," Kirishima stated, looking at his senpai. "There are lots of times I can't do anything when everyone else is frantic. The gap in ability and experience between me and my classmates has gotten bigger... So I want to at least close that gap so I can stand next to them!"
[Name] looked at Kirishima, blinking a few times. She's always believed that Kirishima was amazing. His Quirk is cool to her as well and she could see him be a great hero in the future too. She wished Kirishima could see that and she hopes he sees it sometime soon. He's always been amazing.
"That's called 'being positive,' first year," Amajiki explained.
"It's a fight! Somebody, help!"
"Speak of the devil!" Fatgum yelled, looking over his shoulder.
[Name] looks behind, seeing a group of men dressed in suits running away from a heavier set man. She glanced at Kirishima and Fatgum wasn't behind them anymore. She watches with wide eyes and her mouth open in amazement at Fatgum as he stands in front of the running thugs and they land in Fatgum's body.
"I won't let you!" Fatgum yelled.
"I-It's Fat!"
"Oh, no! I'm sinkin!"
Fatgum holds the thugs in his body. "I'm Mr. Fat, here to make you sink!"
One of the thugs, the one with the red shirt is able to slip out of Fatgum's body with his Quirk. She scowled at the sight, the thug's Quirk is almost the same as Edgeshot's Quirk. Amajiki then uses his Quirk, his fingers turning into octopus tentacles and they grab hold of the thug that escaped.
[Name] gazed at Amajiki in admiration, seeing his Quirk. He has a cool Quirk too and if she remembers correctly, he can manifest anything he eats as his body. It's pretty fucking cool too! She wonder what else Amajiki can do with his Quirk besides the octopus tentacles and what he has to eat on the daily.
"What's with this octopus!?" The thug yelled, being held by the octopus tentacles.
Amajiki looks defeated. "That's mean..."
"No, wait, that's not an insult!" Kirishima interjected quickly. "He's talking about how it looks!"
Amajiki pulls his arm back, and he punches the thug with his fist that's turned into a clam. The thug falls on the ground while Kirishima and [Name] watched their senpai take down the thug easily. Amajiki is definitely strong and cool. There's no doubt about it either. [Name] is already starting to like Amajiki. Not in a romantic way. Yet.
"I didn't get... an octopus..."
Amajiki's foot turns into a chicken's foot. He puts it on the thug's back as there's wings sprouting from Amajiki's back too.
"Clams are handy," Amajiki said, standing above the thug. "They can be used for offense or defense. That's why I make sure to eat some every day."
"U.A. High School third year and part of the Big Three, Tamaki Amajiki. Quirk: Manifest. He can manifest characteristics of things he eats in his body!By the way, his right arm was from takoyaki, his left arm from clam preserves, and his wings and claws are manifested from fried chicken!"
Amajiki looks at his wing. "I didn't need the wings. I wonder... if I did okay..."
[Name] appears at Amajiki's side, placing a hand on his shoulder. "You did amazingly good, Amajiki-senpai."
"You were so fast and so good at using your Quirk!" Kirishima added.
"Our Suneater's skills have long been as good as a pro's!" Fatgum yelled. The thugs that got stuck in his body being arrested by the police. "He still needs to work on his mental weakness, though. Right?"
"Good job, Suneater!"
"You're so cool!"
[Name] smiles, removing her hand from Amajiki's shoulder and she looks down. The crowd is loud as they praise Amajiki and [Name]'s glad that even the crowd thinks that Amajiki did good too. She hopes it'll boost his confidence, but when she looked at Amajiki, he looks even more nervous than before.
She giggled, watching him try to form a sentence much less a word. It's pretty funny and [Name] couldn't wait to see Amajiki shine more. However, [Name] herself needs to shine and not just stand there while watching her senpai.
"Oh, no! Get down!" Fatgum exclaimed.
[Name]'s eyes widen, watching Amajiki fall back after getting shot. Her eyes widen, catching Amajiki with her arms and she almost stumbles back. She looks at the direction she heard the gunshot and Kirishima looks in that direction as well. The crowd starts screaming in fear and running off as there's a single man standing in the crowd with a gun out.
"Bro, run away!" The man with white hair yelled.
"Suneater!" [Name] yelled, looking down at him.
"Suneater!" Kirishima jumps in front of [Name] and Amajiki.
"Suneater! Adolpha! Red Riot!" [Name] heard Fatgum yell.
[Name]'s ear twitches and she puts Amajiki down, jumping in front of Kirishima as she hears two shots ring out. [Name] feels one pierce her arm and the other one didn't hit her. She looks over her shoulder with wide eyes, seeing Kirishima's head be knocked by after getting shot. She noticed that Kirishima hardened her body and the bullet bounced off.
"Adolpha!" Kirishima screamed.
Kirishima catches [Name], holding her and she lets out a sigh of relief. Whatever the man shot, it was a bullet, but rather a red capsule with a needle sticking out of it. It didn't even hurt at all when it pinched [Name]'s skin and she was expecting for the thing to hurt once it made contact with her skin, but it didn't.
"[Na-Adolpha, are you okay?" Kirishima clicked his tongue, looking at the man. "I'll capture him!"
"What's with this piece of junk?!" The man yelled.
"It hurts less than I thought it would..." Amajiki informed.
"Are you two all right?" Kirishima asked.
[Name] removes herself from Kirishima, seeing the man run away.
"G-Get outta the way!"
"I'll chase him!" Kirishima yelled, going after the man.
"Red Riot!" [Name] screamed. She looked at Amajiki. "I'm going after him too!"
[Name] follows after Kirishima, her eyes trained onoto his back. For whatever reason, she's not as fast as she is before because she's not able to catch up to Kirishima. It's probably because it was her first time getting shot from a gun with no bullets and it could be the fear that's making her slow down, but she's not going to let her fear overcome her anymore.
"Wait, don't go runnin'--"
Okay, something is definitely weird. She looked over her shoulder, seeing Fatgum and she sees his mouth moving, but she can't hear him. She can't hear him at all. [Name] shakes her head, going after Kirishima and she can't follow his smell anymore. She can't smell the fresh food that was being made or anyone else's unless she passes by them in a close proximity.
[Name] skids to a stop, staying in her spot as she's looking down at her hands. She watches as her sharp fingernails grow short and she reaches towards her head. A sharp gasp leaves her lips, her wolf ears aren't on the top of her head and she looks behind her. Her tail isn't behind her either!
She tries activating her Quirk, but she can't transform. Her hands start shaking, she can't use her Quirk. She can't use her Quirk at all. Is... Is it permanently gone? What's she going to do? She should go after Kirishima, but she can't protect herself at all if that guy decides to use his Quirk. She'll just be a bother.
"Amajiki-senpai!" [Name] gasped.
He was shot too. He probably can't use his Quirk either so they're both in the same boat right now. She looks back at the last place she saw Kirishima, gritting her teeth and she hopes that Kirishima will be okay. She sucks her teeth and decides to go back to Amajiki and Fatgum, knowing it's the right decision to make.
She doesn't want to leave Kirishima by himself, but she's positive that he'll be all right. He's manly and he can take care of himself. She doesn't want to a burden to him although this whole night she hasn't done anything to help herself or the others. She's been getting in the way rather helping Amajiki, Fatgum, and Kirishima fight these villains.
"These guys are part of a team selling illegal drugs and items so we'd been waiting for a chance like this," a police officer told Amajiki.
"So my Quirk couldn't activate because of one of those items?" Amajiki questioned, rubbing his arm. "Since Adolpha was shot too, she can't use her Quirk either."
"Die, stupid scum!" Red shirt thug hissed, glaring at Amajiki.
Amajiki faces a column. [Name] sees Amajiki, the thugs, and the police. She hurries over to them, her breathing heavy as she's not as fast as she used to be with her Quirk. She's panicking because there's a high chance that [Name] has lost her Quirk forever. Becoming a hero is her dream and to have that snatched from her? It's horrifying.
"Anyway, please leave the rest to us," the officer said.
"Suneater!" [Name] exclaimed.
Amajiki looks away from the column, seeing [Name] running over to him. He gets away from it and the girl jumps into his body. The boy blushes, shocked and flustered from [Name] being close to him and he's not sure what he should do. He remembers hearing the distressed tone in [Name]'s voice and the new appearance too.
"Suneater, my Quirk..." [Name] said, looking up.
Amajiki takes in [Name]'s new appearance. She doesn't have the black, wolf ears on the top of her head and he could see human ears. Her tail is even gone too as she looks completely human with the new appearance. He placed his hands on her shoulders, pushing her away a little bit because he couldn't handle how close she is to him.
"My Quirk won't activate either," Amajiki said, lifting his hand up. "It's an illegal item that they were selling. I'm sure the police will figure out something and we'll see the results of what's going to happen with our Quirks being gone too." Amajiki placed a shaky hand on top of [Name]'s head. "It'll be okay. Just calm down."
"Okay," [Name] mumbled.

"His Quirk powered up...?"
[Name], Kirishima, Amajiki, and Fatgum stand on the sidewalk, a river right next to them. She looks at the river that cuts through the city, her eyes drifting from the bridge and the lit up buildings on their side of the river and the other side of the river. For whatever reason, she's glad that the city decided to build around the river instead of trying to get rid of it.
"That drug's banned in Japan, right? Based on how short the effects lasted, it must've been an inferior version made in Asia. The ones made in the U.S. last at least an hour or two," Fatgum explained.
"You know a lot about it! Wow!" Kirishima gasped.
"In the past, I'd work with the coppers and catch guys like that all day," Fatgum elaborated.
A police officer runs up the stairs. "Fat! About the gun that guy fired--" The police officer holds up a bag, broken pieces in it. "It's been broken into pieces by someone's Quirk. Also, this isn't a normal gun. Anyway, I'll investigate and report back."
"Thanks for goin' out of your way to let me know," Fatgum said.
"I see..."
Kirishima looks to Amajiki and [Name]. "Are you guys all right?"
"It sucks," Amajiki responded, pulling down his hood.
"I feel... weird," [Name] sighed, looking down.
"To make it so you can't use your Quirk... What a terrible way to treat a hero!" Kirishima said.
"More importantly, you defended me," Amajiki mumbled, still hiding his face in his hood. "Just like Mirio, you're a person who shines brightly, like the sun."
"If you're going to say that, then you're like the sun, too, for introducing me to this place!" Kirishima complimented back.
"Just like that. You're amazing, you know," Amajiki said.
[Name] looks down, knowing that she literally did nothing at all. She lets out a sigh, wishing this night could have gone differently, but it didn't. She also doesn't like the feeling of her Quirk being gone too. She feels...different with the fact that her hearing is the average person's and all her other senses are too. She can't remember a time like this when she was a kid before she developed her Quirk.
"Why don't we have them take a look at you two at the hospital?" Fatgum asked, looking at Amajiki and [Name]. "There's something I want to investigate there, too. Why don't we stop by the agency first and then go?"
"Okay," Amajiki and [Name] replied.
"Yes, sir!"
[Name] feels a hand placed on her shoulder. She looks behind her to see a worried look in Kirishima's eyes. She turns around to face him and he gives her a soft smile.
"Thank you for jumping in front of me," Kirishima said.
[Name] gives Kirishima a sad smile. "I didn't want you to get hurt."
"But you ended up losing your Quirk by jumping in front of me," Kirishima said.
[Name] grabs Kirishima's hand with both of hers, his hands larger than hers and he blushed. He blinked a few times as he gazes at [Name]. He sees the bright smile on her lips, but in her eyes he can see the pain that she's holding in. He knows of the argument that happened between her and Bakugo because Bakugo talked about it to him and Kaminari also talked about it to him too. He's aware that she's in pain.
"I'm glad that you're okay, Kirishima," [Name] said, her voice soft. "Good job on defeating that guy too. I'm glad you pulled through."
Kirishima blushed more. He looks down, feeling [Name]'s soft hands hold his own. His eyes go to their hands, his heart beating in his chest rapidly. He already knew [Name] is attractive and a few guys like her, but now he could really see why they like her. She has this effect on Kirishima that makes him flustered and he can't look away from her.
