Black. All Kyoya saw was a pitch black darkness. Up, down, left, and right. All he was met with was an endless darkness. To him, it felt like he was in a void of sorts. While Kyoya looked around, he suddenly heard a voice.
"Do you have time to stand around here? If so, use your time wisely. You need as much of it as possible if you want to save her."
Kyoya turned around to find the source of the voice. When he did, he was met with a black pair of eyes. Though one thing stood out to him about the individual before him. His face, when Kyoya saw the man's face he began to wonder. Why did it look as if he was looking at his own face?
"It's time to wake up, my descendant. As for me, my slumber shall continue. Good luck, you'll need it. In order to save her......"
~Meanwhile~
"Juvia!!!!!"
Kyoya suddenly got up, but his body was aching in pain. As he looked around, he saw the Eye of the Midnight Sun's hideout has disappeared. He tried to get up but he heard someone stop him.
"It would be better if you stopped, Kyoya Fullbuster."
"Mukuro........"
As Mukuro looked at Kyoya, he puts one of the ice mage's arms over his shoulder as he takes him to the other royal knights that are still his comrades. While this happened, Mukuro was explaining the situation.
"While you were unconscious, the Eye of the Midnight Sun's hideout became mobile and is heading for the Royal Capital. Not only that, it seems some of the Royal Knights and other mages have undergone the same transformation as Juvia."
"Juvia......Mukuro, we have to catch up to them! We need to save Ju-"
"Right now, you need to get treated. Luckily our recovery mage is still on our side."
As Mukuro said this, Kyoya looked forward as he saw his comrades. Asta, Mimosa, Zora, En, Noelle, Mereoleona, Kirsch, and Nozel seemed to be normal. However, when his eyes fell upon Yuno, he saw that he had markings on his face and pointed ears.
"Yuno........."
"Kyoya. Mimosa, hurry and heal him please!"
"Right! Plant Recovery Magic:Princess-Healing Flower Robe!"
With her grimoire opened, Mimosa was covered by vines and flowers, forming a dress. The dress has a pair of wing-like ornaments which are also composed of leaves and flowers. Soon she poured magical power into Kyoya in order to heal him. While Kyoya was recovering, Nozel looked at the knocked out Mereoleona who was covered in blood.
"Those boys....Asta and Yuno managed to survive that large magic blast which was stronger than what put Mereoleona in this condition. Not to mention the ice mage, Kyoya. While making our escape, everyone saw large amounts of water ready to drown us, yet he managed to freeze it all........."
While Nozel was thinking to himself, he took out the magic communication device that all the captains are given as he received a signal from magic knights in the Royal Capital. As soon as he listened, he heard the sounds of screaming in the background.
"Captain Nozel! Several of our squad members have suddenly become violent and claiming to be elves. Their magic power is much stronger than usual! Apparently other squads are having the same problem! We need your he-"
Before the man could finish his sentence, the transmission was cut off. It seems this so called "resurrection" has happened all over the Kingdom. Nozel knows that he and the rest of the magic knights that haven't turned need to make a move.
"We must act quickly or else our Kingdom will meet its end. As magic knights it's our duty to protect the people and it's kingdom."
As Nozel said this, he used his Mercury Magic to carry everyone as Yuno used his Wind Magic to help them fly in the sky. They have one destination. To make it to the royal capital and stop the elves.
~Meanwhile~
Vinea was seen with Rhya and many other magic knights who were also turned into elves. As she was staring outside at the town of Nean beneath their hideout, Rhya saw the woman's gaze and questioned her.
"So Vinea, it looks as if you're ready to cause some mischief even though we're heading towards the royal capital. Plus the place is already a wreck thanks to our fellow elves. "
"Of course I want to fight. After all, the humans slaughtered us in cold blood when we elves just wanted peace. Now it is time for them to face judgement."
Just as Rhya was about to approve and let her go, both Vinea and himself felt tremendous amounts of mana coming from near the area below them. When they looked at the ground, they saw a single man standing before several of their elf brethren. With a single wave of his hand, they saw all of their comrades frozen solid in ice. However, what truly terrified them was when his gaze shifted towards them.
"Rhya, let's just keep heading towards the royal capital."
They'll die. That's all their instincts were screaming at them. If they try to fight that man, they'll surely end up dead. As Silver saw the hideout of the elves flying past Nean, he smiled as he saw the people of Nean rushing inside a church since it was the only building not destroyed. As he waits in the destroyed town, he releases a huge amount of magic power.
"Everything is set.....I can't wait to face you, Kyoya Fullbuster."
~With Kyoya~
On the way to the Royal Capital, Asta and Yuno saw their home, Hage Village, being attacked by an elf. The two agreed to meet up with the group as they fell down there to help the villagers and the orphans they grew up with.
"I hope Asta and Yuno are okay."
"They're strong. There is no need to worry about them."
Mimosa and Noelle looked towards Kyoya. He didn't have a look of concern on his face. To be honest, why should he. He knew that a mere elf couldn't bring them down. Soon he looked towards Nozel.
"They were sure in their decision, so focus on what you all need to do for yourse-"
Everyone was silent as they all sensed the same thing. An enormous amount of magic power was near them. But it was much more than that to Mukuro and Kyoya since they felt an intense sensation in their chest. Only this time, it felt suffocating.
"A Child of Sin had to show up now of all times?!"
"Dammit. As if things weren't bad eno-"
When Kyoya looked down, he couldn't believe what he saw. It was the town of Nean, but it was in rubble. But what caught his attention were the several frozen elves. He had an eerie feeling about this ice, just like he did in Sun Village. Seeing this, Kyoya jumped off the eagle as he shouted towards the Royal Knights.
"I'll handle it from here and meet you in the Royal Capital!!!! Don't worry about me, I can handle it from here!!!!"
As Kyoya shouted, he creates two four-pointed grappling hooks with chains connected with the Ice-Make auras around his hands. The hooks connected to some nearby trees as he safely lands on the ground. However, the mana was even more suffocating on the ground than in the air. As he rushed towards the center of Nean, he heard a voice.
"It's been a while, Kyoya Fullbuster."
Kyoya stopped running as a strong sensation filled his chest. Not only that, the voice he heard was all too familiar. When he looked ahead, he saw one man standing before him, but he couldn't believe who he saw.
"Who are you?"
"Come on, is that any way to greet me. After all, we have a bond that can never be broken. Perhaps you're asking me because you pray for me to deny what you are thinking since you already know the answer!"
Kyoya didn't want to listen to this man. Though the more he listened to this voice, the more he thought about that day. The day that he lost both of his parents. As the man in front of him saw Kyoya's anguish, he merely smiled.
"That's right, my name is Silver Fullbuster. Though I guess you never called me that. After all, it's disrespectful to call me anything but your Father. But then again, you heard of my name after Ur sealed me away."
"You can't be......"
"This body is Silver Fullbuster. But the soul inside it is the one that belongs to the devil that your master gave up her own life to seal away. Remember it Kyoya, your fear of devils. Your fear..of Deliora!!!!!"
A dark reunion that no one could anticipate. Kyoya comes face to face with someone from his past. The desire to protect the Clover Kingdom or his deepest fears from the past. Which will lead the actions of Kyoya Fullbuster?
