~ 3rd Person's Perspective ~
Replacing her dirty uniform, she took a yellow nightgown from the bag. Getting the chaos they created earlier, (Name) smiled at the memory. Her first thought of staying here temporarily is negative, but right now, she felt quite happy...
"Why are you smiling?" Her white exceed, Carla, asked. "Did you fall to the boys?"
"H-HA! What are you saying?!" The Heartfilia flushed in embarrassment. "I-I'm not ready to those kind of things!"
"Ace is cute with his snarky smirk and Deuce is handsome with his confident attitude. Both of them are really nice to you, you know." The exceed remarked. "What do you say?"
"Eh... But... Never mind." (Name) sighed in defeat. "Carla, let me dry you." She offered.
Carla gave her the towel, "Okay, thank you..." She smiled.
(Name) smiled back, "Since we're gonna be classmates tomorrow, aren't you gonna change into your human form?" She asked the exceed.
Carla shook her head, "This is a boys-school, (Name). I would rather stay in my exceed form."
(Name) sheepishly smiled, "Well, you're right though..."
Going outside the bathroom with Carla in her arms, the boys were eating some food. Lily eating some healthy food, Happy eating raw fish, and Grim eating tuna...
"Okay, bed time. Finish your foods!" (Name) announced.
"Aye!" Happy saluted.
"Ok!" Grim nodded.
Jumping to their own beds, (Name) observed the exceeds and Grim. Kissing their foreheads one by one, she laid to her own bed. But there is one thing that they didn't notice, a dark smoky figure appearing on the mirror. The smoky black fog flew above (Name)'s head, making a circular motion before disappearing...
☁ [𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞] ☁
"Hm? Where am I?" (Name) looked around, noticing she isn't in the Ramshackle Dorm.
Roaming her eyes around, she was inside of a garden... Well, it looks like a maze with red roses and several trees. The atmosphere is not gloomy matching the scene...
"Hurry and paint the roses red. If we don't hurry, the flowers will wilt!" A voice suddenly was heard.
(Name) hurried where the voice is and saw 3 big cards. They had paintbrushes and paint buckets in hand...
"Hurry, hurry! There are still some that aren't painted!" The Ace of Clover or Clubs panicked as they started to paint.
'Painting... The roses?' (Name) thought as she observed the scene.
"Why are you painting the white roses red?" A girl with blond hair and wearing a blue dress with a white apron asked.
"The girl is familiar... Have I seen her before?" (Name) asked herself.
"Huh?" The card soldiers look dumbfounded.
"Why, you ask?" The Ace of Clover or Clubs asked. "Well, to tell you the truth, we made a mistake and accidentally planted white roses." He replied.
"The Queen loves red, so if she sees white, then it's off with our heads!" The Two of Clovers or Clubs also remarked.
"Is that so?" The little girl awed as she stood.
"Yes, it is. That's exactly why we're painting them red." The Three of Clover or Clubs replied.
"Where exactly am I?" (Name) backed up before completely blacking out.
☁ [𝐄𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐦 𝐒𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞] ☁
Opening her eyes and jolting up, (Name) traveled her eyes and sighed, "That was just a dream... A very weird one..."
Then a knock was heard...
"Who could be at this hour~?" Happy yawned.
"I don't know~..." Lily shrugged as he rubbed his eyes.
"They're destroying my beautiful sleep~!" Grim complained.
"(Name), can you open the door?" Carla favored.
Nodding in agreement, the Heartfilia headed downstairs and opened the door...
"Ace?" She asked as she saw who was behind the door.
"Can you let me in for a bit?" Ace favored, which she gladly let him in.
"Ace?!" Happy yelled behind (Name)..
"Why is he here at this hour...?" Carla wondered as they stood behind (Name).
"Geh! What's with the collar?!?!" Grim exclaimed as he saw the familiar collar on Ace's neck.
"You better explain this to us, Ace." Pantherlily demanded.
"Geez! I'm never returning to Heartslabyul. I'm gonna be a member of this dorm from here on!" Ace outburst.
"WHAT~~~!?!?" The exceeds, Grim, and (Name) yelled in unison.
~ 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦 - 𝐋𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐞 ~
Sitting on the couch, Ace on the other while (Name), the exceeds, and Grim on the couch towards him. Ace was pouting and huffing, while the others are wondering what is his problem...
"That collar's the same kind as the one that red-haired upperclassman put on me during the opening ceremony." Grim pinpoint out.
"Why're you wearing that?" Pantherlily asked Ace.
"I ate a tart." Ace answered bluntly.
(Name) raised an eyebrow, "A tart?"
"I'm confused. What did you exactly did?" Carla asked clearly.
"Exactly!" Ace snapped on Carla, causing for the exceed to jump on (Name)'s lap.
"Stop snapping out of nowhere!" Carla ranted Ace.
"Only that! I got hungry, so I went to the dorm's kitchen. The tart was just sittin' right there inside the fridge." He added.
"Go on..." (Name) waved her hand forward.
"And like, three whole ones! That's why..." Ace's started to add more.
[𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝]
~ 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐮𝐥 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐦 - 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 ~
"It's only the first day and I'm so tired~ I missed dinner, so I'm very hungry." Ace sighed as he got towards the Heartslabyul kitchen. "Wonder if there's anythin' in the fridge..."
Opening the fridge, there were tarts. Not just one though, it was 3 big tarts...
"Oh, found a tart! Looks delish~!" He clapped his hands while taking one. "There's a lot, so I'm not sure if I can finish it all~!" Ace smiled in triumphantly. "Thanks for the food~!"
When the tart touch his taste bud, he is sure that he just taste heaven's bliss...
"Whoa, what the heck?! It's so good!" Ace praised, not noticing the presence behind him saying 'danger'.
"Of course, it would be delicious. After all, anything that Trey makes is bound to be exquisite." The mystery person uttered behind Ace.
"Nah, man, this is something else! It's better than the ones at the shops..." Ace turned around and saw, "Wha– Prefect Rosehearts?!" He screamed in terror.
"Quite the boldness you have there for touching something that belongs to me." Riddle crossed his arm. "Queen of Hearts Rule #89: " You shall not eat tarts prepared for the Queen ahead of her." Larceny of the Queen's tarts is a capital crime!" He added with anger lacing in his voice.
"What?!" Ace backed up a bit.
「𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝!」
Riddle cast a collar on Ace's neck, sealing off his magic...
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Ace screamed in terror.
[𝐄𝐧𝐝]
"... And that's what happened..." Ace finished.
Silence...
"You've only got yourself to blame." Happy shrugged while putting his head on (Name)'s bare arm.
"But ain't it overreacting to seal my magic just 'cause I ate his tart?! It's practically the same as tying my hands and my feet!" Ace defended.
"You have point there." Pantherlily nodded.
"Plus, there were three whole ones! He can't possibly finish all of those! There's a limit to how heartless he can be!" Ace added.
"I agree, but you also deserve it." Carla closed her eyes while saying that.
"Carla, we're here to comfort him..." (Name) scratched her cheek.
"Ah! Wait a second..." Grim jumped on the couch. "If there were three whole tarts, they might've been prepared for the party, yanno?" He conceded.
"You're right. Considering the tarts are perfect for celebrations!" (Name) agreed at Grim's theory.
"Like for someone's birthday?" Grim added.
"Grim, I didn't thought you could be that smart~..." Happy placed a paw on his mouth, hiding his smirk.
"Man, I'm such a great detective, huh!" Grim had yellow sparkles surrounding him as he praise himself.
"Birthday?" The confused Ace asked.
"No wonder he's mad." (Name) smiled.
"Uh... I came here thinking that you'd agree with me about the Prefect being a little tyrant..." Ace pouted as he look away.
"Eating someone else's food is not good, right?" Carla asked Ace.
"You're also at fault for eating his food." Grim acknowledged once again.
"I'm sure he'll forgive you if you apologize tomorrow!" (Name) smiled at Ace.
Ace melted, "You're so nice, Prefect (Name)~!" He smiled. "But sometimes you're a demon..." He whispered the last part, but still enough for (Name) to hear.
"Ace, you hurt my feelings..." (Name) got depressed, touching her chest adding dramatic effects. "How could you?"
"Grudges over food are scary." Happy hugged himself while fretting.
"Ah! Speaking of which, I still haven't received my canned tuna from the Headmaster!" Grim stomped his feet. "Hey, (Name), we're facing the Headmaster tomorrow!"
Ace sighed, "I get it. I just have to apologize, right?" He asked, earning a nod from (Name). "You suggested it, so you better come with me, Prefect (Name)."
"Sure!" (Name) gave him a thumbs up.
"In the meantime, where can I sleep?" Ace asked (Name).
"You're serious about staying the night?" Grim gawked.
"The room except for ours are full of dusts." Happy declared.
"If you're gonna sleep here, you better clean it yourself." Pantherlily alluded.
"Ugh, I don't wanna clean at all." Ace complained. "Prefect~? Let me stay in your room~?" He started to plead on (Name). "I'm a pretty handy guy so I won't take up much room! Please~?"
"No." (Name) announced firmly. "I don't want you to get risk getting beat up by my overprotective uncle. Feel free to sleep in 'this' couch."
"Boo, stingy." Ace stuck out his tongue on them. "Fine then. I'll sleep all by my lonesome on the lounge's sofa. Good night!"
"Finally~!" The exceeds and Grim rushed upstairs.
Entering the room, the cats slumped their body on the bed. (Name), on the other hand, took a yellow blanket and a brown mini pillow from her backpack. Going downstairs, she placed the blanket on Ace and carefully put the pillow underneath his head...
"Good night, Ace..." She kissed her forehead before completely leaving him.
Little did she know, Ace is literally blushing right now...
[𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐃𝐚𝐲]
*knock!* *knock!*
"What the, who the hell's pounding on the door so early in the morning?" Ace complained as he rubbed his eyes. "Bullsh*t! I want some kind of a sleep that no one can disturb me."
*knock!* *knock!*
"Ugh...! This dorm's seriously raining dust! Got it, got it! I'll open the door, so don't break it!" He yelled.
Going towards the door, he was greeted by none other that Deuce Spade...
"I knew I'd find you here." Deuce predicted as he entered the Ramshackle Dorm.
"D-Deuce..." Ace stuttered.
"I heard about the situation from our fellow dorm mates. You ate the Prefect's tart, so now you've got that collar on, haven't you?" Deuce inquired. "You're a complete idiot."
"Shut it! I don't wanna hear that from you!" Ace twitched his right eyebrow. "So... Is the Prefect still mad at me?" He asked.
"Not completely. He's in an irritated mood and about three people who didn't follow the waking up routine suffered the same fate as you." Deuce replied.
Ace trembled in fear, " "Not completely," my ass! He's totally mad!" He boomed.
"Why is everyone yelling first thing in the morning?" A tired-looking (Name) asked while standing infront of the boys.
"(Name) didn't get enough sleep, don't ask her." Carla hinted.
~ 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 ~
"Hey! Make way, make way! I, a full-fledged Night Raven College student is passing through!" Grim jabbered as he brush some people away.
"Grim, I suggest you to shut up..." Happy suggested as he flew alongside the two other exceeds.
"Look at my collar! My collar is totally awesome compared to yours!" Grim turned to Ace, sticking his tongue out. "And you can't use your magic now, can you?" He mocked Ace.
"He had deep grudges in people..." Pantherlily stated.
"Guess I can have you cleaning the schools as part of your chores or something? Nyaha, this feels so good!" Grim clapped his paws, still mocking Ace.
"Bet he won't stop doing that until Ace remove his collar." Carla smirked.
Ace grumbled, "You better remember this when I get my magic back!" He threatened Grim.
"The Headmaster just scolded you for a ruckus you caused yesterday, remember?" Deuce reminded.
"I guess they have short-term memory, Deuce..." (Name) sighed in exhaust.
"In any case, you won't be able to attend classes since your magic has been sealed. How about you go and apologize to Prefect Rosehearts so he can take that off?" Deuce finished.
"Damn it...! I still ain't convinced...!!" Ace clenched his fists.
"We still have time before the next class." Happy uttered.
"Plus, I'm interested in the other dorms." Pantherlily added.
"Let's go observe while we watch Ace apologize!" Grim finished.
"This three sure have one brain-cell..." Carla shook her head, literally saying the three boy cats.
"I'm not some kinda exhibit, damn it!" Ace argued.
