~ 𝐌𝐢𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 ~
"Eh!? You really went to Dwarfs' Mine to find a magic crystal?" Crowley was the first they see when they got on the other side of the mirror.
"Eeeh!?" (Name), Ace, Deuce, Grim, and the exceeds looked shock.
"I really didn't think..." Crowley's face turned shocked. "You'd not only go but then come back with a crystal in hand. I quietly completed the paperwork for your expel papers."
(Name) had an irk mark and she's smiling so weird, "How dare you, Crowley..." She muttered.
"Nnga! The nerve of this guy! While we were off fighting some crazy beast!" Grim accused a finger on Crowley.
Crowley raised an eyebrow, "Repeat that again."
"There is a crazy beast in that Dwarf's mine!" Carla assayed for Grim.
"There was a monster there! It was super gross and crazy strong, it was awful!" Ace complained more.
"Could you explain in more detail in my office?" Crowley asked.
~ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 ~
"Hoh hoohh. A mysterious monster living in the coal mine. The seven of you worked together to defeat it and bring back a magic crystal?" Crowley asked, excited for more info.
"I'm not looking at the together part." (Name) crossed her legs. "They like bicker the whole time."
"(Name) is right!" Happy jumped.
"(Name) is strong, after all..." Carla and Pantherlily shook their head.
"We didn't really work together..." Ace pouted.
"It was more like our goals were aligned..." Deuce reasoned.
"Ooh... Ooooh... OOOOOOOOHHH!!!! OOOOOOHHH!!!" Crowley suddenly sobbed out of nowhere.
"What's with this guy? Why is an adult bursting into tears!?" Grim unbelievably uttered.
"In all these years that I've been Headmaster... For the day to come that students from Night Raven College to go hand-in-hand to face and defeat their enemy!" Crowley sneezed from a handkerchief.
"What!? I did not hold this guy's hand!" Deuce sat away from Ace. "B-But... I do held (Name)'s hand..." He blushed.
"I would never do that, gross!" Ace cleansed his uniform, which is know neatly dry because of the Headmaster's magic. "But Headmaster, how old are you!?" He turned to the Headmaster.
"I am overwhelmed with emotion." Crowley didn't bother to answer Ace's question. "(Name), you also have talent as a beast tamer! This incident confirms it." He clapped his hands.
"So like... I can command and not just use magic?" (Name) asked the Headmaster.
Crowley nodded, "Students of Night Raven College are budding wizards called here by the Dark Mirror. And I have no doubt you're strong at using magic." He said to (Name).
"Wow..." (Name) cupped her cheeks.
"However, they are of a superior class that makes them prideful and egotistical people that have not even the slightest inkling to work with others. Making many of them selfish and self-centered." Crowley hanged his head low.
"You're really not saying anything good." Grim and Happy said.
"Despite of having magic, you also use tactics that can be used in battles in such. I have never seen a person like you..." Crowley proclaimed. "Perhaps that mediocrity is exactly what this school needs right now!"
"He's not saying anything nice is he!?" Ace hissed.
"Shut up, Ace..." Pantherlily nudged his leg.
"(Name), I have no doubt that your existence is essential to the future of this academy. That means, I will make your exceeds and Grim as a 'one student'." Crowley happily announced. "For I am exceedingly gracious!"
"I... I can go to this academy too...? Not as a handyman, but as a student?" Grim had tears forming at the corner of his eyes.
"Yes!" Happy had a big smile on his face.
"I can monitor (Name)." Carla smiled a bit.
"Why me too?" Pantherlily tilted his head with a depressed line.
(Name) sweatdropped, placing her un-gloved right hand on her forehead, "I think I'm gonna have a migraine..."
"Grim and the exceeds has magic, right?" Crowley asked (Name).
"Yes. My exceeds has an ability they can fly, yet Carla and Pantherlily had additional magic though. Carla can turn into a human cat-girl as long as she can, likewise Pantherlily. He can turn into a big cat with muscular features." (Name) lectured.
"Yes. Noted that!" Crowley then turn to the exceeds and Grim. "You don't ever let an incident like yesterday occur again! Do we have an agreement?" He asked.
"Ffgnaa... Fffnnaa... We-we can." Grim nodded.
"Aye sir!" Happy saluted.
"Like I would do that..." Carla pouted.
"Yeah." Pantherlily agreed.
"Well then, I shall give the symbol of your status as a student of Night Raven College, a magic crystal, to Grim and Carla." Crowley swished his finger on Carla, along with Grim. A magical pen appeared on their necks.
"Whoa! A magic crystal!?" Grim awed in amazement.
"Carla, we have the same!" (Name) giggled as she showed her own magical pen on Carla.
(Name)'s magical pen is a green gem, for some reasons. Grim's magical pen is a light purple and their collars color are gray...
"Yeah..." Carla smiled.
"It is the style for students to have their magic crystals in the form of a 'magic pen' but..." Crowley nervously smiled. "You wouldn't be able to grip it in your paws, right? It's a special tradition. Aaah... I pay attention to even the smallest details! Aren't I too gracious?"
"I did it!! I'm so cool! I got my own special magic crystal collar~~!" Grim danced across the room.
"He isn't listening at all..." Crowley muttered.
"Like he'll listen..." Ace crossed his legs and straightened his back.
"Do you understand? As you can see, Grim is not accustomed to human society. It's up to you and the exceeds take the rein and supervise him to prevent from causing any more trouble, Prefect (Name)!" Crowley shook (Name)'s body.
"Y-Yes, Sir Crowley..." (Name) stuttered.
"Aha! Look at you. School's just started, but you're already a supervisor and a Prefect?" Ace said to (Name) as he placed an arm around her shoulder.
"I see. There's only the 5 of you in your dorm..." Deuce placed a finger under his chin. "So if you've been entrusted with supervising Grim, that makes you a supervisor." He nodded in understanding.
"I do have a work request, and having a title makes it very convenient..." Crowley rummaged on his cabinets. "This is wonderful! Prefect, I entrust you with this. ...This is nicknamed the 'ghost camera'." He gave (Name) a camera.
"Ghost? Why ghost?" (Name) asked herself as she started to shake the camera.
"Ah, I think my grandma told me about that. It's a super old magic tool, right?" Ace poked the ghost camera from (Name)'s grasp.
"It is not 'super old'... " Crowley scratched his head. "It's true this may have been invented during your great grandmother's, or great-great grandmother's time. There is a very special spell cast on it. It not only captures the subjects' form, but also a part of their soul." He explained.
"A part of their soul...?" Deuce asked.
"We call this 'Memory: A Fragment of Remembrance'. Furthermore, the most interesting part of this magic camera is that the souls of the photographer and the photographed become deeply connected and the Memory in the photo comes jumping out!" Crowley clapped his hands.
"I have never heard such a thing. I only know the normal one though..." The Heartfilia said, trying to use the camera. "So... How can I use this since I'm new to this kind of things."
"Depending on how close the subject and the photographer are, the picture could move like a video, or bring to life the situation in the photo. Fascinating, right?
"So if I capture like..." (Name) aimed the camera on the boys, Grim, and the exceeds.
"(Name), picture me!" Grim posed infront of (Name).
"Hey, Grim. Don't order (Name) around!" Happy hissed at Grim.
*𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤!*
"Woah!" (Name) almost stumbled in surprise.
As she snap the picture, the exceeds was looking on Grim, Grim was still posing with his magical pen, Ace is still looking at the camera, and Deuce is owlishly gazing at her. The thing is, it's also moving...
'(Name), picture me!' Grim's voice was also heard.
'Hey, Grim. Don't order (Name) around!' Also Happy's voice.
"It's like a ghost photograph!" Deuce peeked at (Name)'s shoulder.
"Yes. Therefore it is called a "ghost camera"." Crowley added.
"They say it was made before the time of videos for when people wanted to leave behind vivid memories... Spade was correct; in the past, people would scream 'ghost!' in surprise when the memory came jumping out. They were paralyzed with fear at the thought of having a photo taken with this camera." He continued.
Ace chuckled, "A camera for freaking people out..."
"Also, Miss Heartfilia." Crowley gazed at (Name). "Since you still can't go back to your world, please take photos of Grim and the other students to leave behind many memories of your lives in this academy." He grinned. "...Especially, always make sure to get 'Memories' when someone steps out of line."
"Like breaking rules?" Pantherlily asked.
"Precisely. It's a most suitable way to report to me, right? Keep an eye on your surroundings and take memories as the supervisor and as the prefect. Does my graciousness know no bounds?" Crowley smirked with a cocky face.
"Yes, Headmaster!" (Name) beamed.
"Before, I forgot!" Ace raise his hand. "(Name), what's that on your right hand?" He asked.
(Name) awed, "This? Well, this represents that I'm a guild wizard." She replied.
"What's a guild?" Deuce asked.
"In our world, 90% are non-wizards and 10% are wizards. It's either you go to guilds or be a commoner." (Name) started to explain.
"SO YOU'RE AN ALIEN?!" Ace blurted out. "I have a friend that's an alien! Aaahhhh! Help me!"
Carla slapped his cheek, "Stop yelling. We aren't like an alien like out of the world." She hissed. "We're like from another reality."
"Wizards like us go to guilds to maintain peace and help commoners. That's how we earn money in our world." (Name) continued.
"Even 6 year old's can enter the so-called guild?" Ace raised an eyebrow with a smug face.
(Name) nodded, "As long as you can use magic, you can enter a guild." She replied.
"But what connects to that tattoo on your hand?" Grim is the one who finally asked.
"There are many different guilds in our world." (Name) showed her guild mark. "This mark represents I'm a Fairy Tail wizard from the Fairy Tail guild. You can also put it in any other parts and in any different colors, too."
"Maybe If I could join a guild, I can customize my own tattoo!" Grim grinned.
"Happy, Lily, Carla. Show them your guild marks." (Name) ordered.
Putting their things aside that covers their mark, the boys and Grim clapped their hands in amazement...
"I also want one!" Ace entangled his hands together.
"Guilds doesn't exist here though..." Deuce pouted.
"Miss Heartfilia, your world is an interesting place..." Crowley muttered under his breath. "It's getting late, kids. Now go back to your respective dormitories." He ordered.
"Pardon, Sir Crowley..." They all bowed before leaving.
