You didn't remember how you got the flu. All you know, is you had it and bad.
You could barely get out of bed, let alone, open your eyes. Your mom felt so bad for you. She would bring you soup and your medicine as well. She feels helpless. She's tried everything to make you feel better: music, watching your favorite movies, baking for you. None of it worked, surprisingly.
She decided to try one last thing: sing. Of course, she has had to sing more than once in her career. Everyone seems to say that she has a lovely voice. She hopes that's true. All she wants to do is make you feel better.

She walked in your room and saw that you were still bed ridden. She lowered her brows in concern. "Hey love. You still don't feel good?" You shook your head, not wanting to talk and sound like you smokes 10 packs of cigarettes a day.
"No. I thought watching the mandalorian would help but it doesn't." She smiled at your attempt to make her feel less concerned. She sighed and walked over to the other side and climbed on the bed. You furrowed your eyebrows in confusion. "What are you doing?" She looked at you and smiled. "Cuddling with my baby. Isn't that obvious?" She pulled you into her. "Stop! You're going to get sick and you have that movie to shoot!" She sighed. "You're health is way more important than any movie." You smiled. "Thank you mom." Just after you smiled, your face contoured into pain as you started a coughing spree. She looked at you in concern and patted your back. Just then, she decided she should sing. It was now or never.
