It's Time

Elphaba and Glinda were finally back in Oz and Glinda was all ready for her date; although, she wished she wished she wasn't.
"Can't i say i'm sick or something?" Glinda complained.
"You might as well get it over with. Besides, if you don't go now, he may tell the Gale Force," Elphaba pointed out.
"Your right," Glinda said nervously.
Exactly as the clock struck 7, there was a knock in the door.
Elphaba opened it.
"Oh, it's you. I wished my angel's beautiful face to be the first that i see. Where is she?" Boq said.
"First of all, she isn't YOUR angel, and second of all-," Elphaba began.
"I'm right here. Let's get this over with," Glinda said, interupting her.
"Aw, Glinda, my pretty," Boq said.
"Did he just call you my pretty. I would kill him if i could," Elphaba muttered.
Glinda smiled at her friend's reaction to the name Elphaba usually calls her.
"Anyway, let's go," Boq said, holding out his hand.
Glinda, ignoring the hand, said goodbye to Elphaba and reluctantly walked out the door.
"Good luck," Elphaba called. "And have her home by 8:30!"
"She's liked an over protective father," Boq muttered.
Elphaba cast one last worried look at Glinda and closed the door.
