Y/N POV

After the initial launch of Dumbledore's Army, we planned to have younger members since they couldn't defend themselves with what Umbridge, so we told more of the Gryffindors like Nigel, Anne and some of the others since they weren't old enough to go to Hogsmeade yet. And speaking of Anne, she's been hanging around Hermione a lot, and she didn't mind at all. She's gotten closer to us and we were the only ones to know she was actually an orphan.

A couple days later, Angelina Johnson came towards and told us the unthinkable. "You won't believe... that Umbridge woman... that is too much!" She said.

"What did she do now?" Harry asked as she lead us to the latest Decree.

By order of the Hogwarts High Inquisitor: All student organizations, societies, teams, groups, and clubs are henceforth disbanded. Permission to reform must be approved by High Inquisitor Umbridge. No student organization can exist without the knowledge and approval of the High Inquisitor. Any student found to be a part of an illegal organization will be expelled immediately.

I'm really starting to think that "High Inquisitor" is just a fancy-ass name for something worse.

A BLOODY DICTATOR.

"She refused to allow us to reform the Gryffindor team," Angelina said. "We had to go to Dumbledore and Addison to get her to allow it."

"Why was my Mum there?" I asked. "Is she here to keep an eye on Umbridge?"

"I guess so," Angelina said.

"Not only that," Harry said. "But what about the D.A.?"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"She knows," Harry said. It was now nighttime and Harry and I were pacing around, no doubt Lana was doing the same in the Ravenclaw Common Room, I can hear her thinking now.

"She can't!" Ron said.

"Look, we don't know how many people could have overheard our meeting and told her," Harry said.

"Or someone at the meeting blabbed to her," Ron added.

"They can't," I said. "Mione, Lana and I enchanted the parchment with all the names. No one can betray the D.A. without us knowing."

Harry stopped and smiled at us. "What would we do without you three?"

"Probably get annoyed by Malfoy everyday," I retorted with a grin while Hermione beamed.

'Please help me!' I heard in my head. 'Coming in hot!'

Without thinking, I walked over to the window, I didn't know exactly what I was doing, but I felt like I did. Hedwig arrived at the window but collapsed in my arms.

"Was that you, Hedwig?" I asked the snowy owl as she hooted softly.

"Hedwig!" Harry said, running over to us.

"She's hurt!" Hermione said.

"Harry, we have to take her to Newt," I said. "He'd know what to do." With that, we left the Common Room and made our way to Newt's office. As we arrived at his office, Newt was surprised to find us here at night and Grandma was there too.

"Harry? Y/N?" He asked. "What are you doing here this late?"

"It's Hedwig, Newt," Harry said. "I think she's been attacked."

"What?" Grandma said. Newt came closer and examined the owl. "I think you're right. Where was she coming from?"

"London," Harry said.

"Give her to me," Newt said. "Tina and I will help fix her up." As Newt found Tina, they began to help Hedwig while Grandma walked to me and Harry. "Bear in mind, Potter," Grandma said to him. "Those channels of communication in and out of Hogwarts are being watched, won't you? Y/N, remind him if he ever forgets.

"Yes, Professor," We both said at the same time.

"Good," Grandma said. "Now, off to bed."

We walked back to the Common Room, where Ron wasn't there. Hermione was sitting with Snuffles, waiting for me and got up, ready to go to bed. We were halfway towards my room until a squeaky voice rang out through the room.

"Mr. Harry Potter! Mr. Y/N Lovegood!" The voice of Dobby squealed out. We all turned around to find Dobby standing in the middle of the room, wanting our attention.

"Dobby!" Harry said. "What are you doing here?"

"Dobby is cleaning, sir," He said before stopping himself from speaking again.

"What is it, Dobby?" I asked the elf.

"Dobby... Dobby wishes he could help Harry Potter and Y/N Lovegood," Dobby said. "Dobby has been hearing Harry Potter muttering in his sleep."

"Don't worry about it," Harry said kindly. "But I don't think you could help us."

Dobby's ears dropped down as he turned his head down, immediately making Harry feel bad. "Actually, there is something you can do, Dobby." He said, hoping to get him happy again.

And lo and behold, it worked. Dobby beamed instantly.

"We need a room where 28 people can practice DATDA without the teachers knowing," Harry said. "Especially Professor Umbridge."

"Dobby knows of the perfect place, Harry Potter!" Dobby said as he jumped and smiled, bringing one to Hermione as well. "It is the Room of Requirement, sir. You can only use the room in times of great need. Dobby has seen Y/N and Lana Lovegood using the Room last year!"

"Oh, yeah, I forgot about that place," I said. "Helps a lot."

"Whatever you need will be there for you, Harry Potter," Dobby continued, pleased with himself. "Perhaps Dobby or Y/N Lovegood can show you the room?"

Harry looked lost in thought for a while, while Hermione and I looked at each other. "Better not now, Dobby." Harry said. "Sorry, Y/N. School is pretty intense right now. We'll do it in a few months, before the holidays."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A couple weeks later, Harry and I were helping Ron prepare for our first game of the year. We took our positions in the sky as I spotted Hermione, Lana, Luna, Ginny, Anne, Dean and Seamus in the stands cheering for Gryffindor. Hermione was even wearing the jersey I gave her for her birthday.

I was holding the Quaffle, ready to score it and as I did, Crabbe and Goyle, the Slytherin Beaters, nearly hit me with their clubs but I managed to duck and score as the Slytherin Keeper groaned. As we kept playing, Ron was actually doing pretty good.

Until the Slytherins messed it up per usual.

"Weasley is our king, Weasley is our King," They chanted. "He always lets the Quaffle in, Weasley is our King!" As Ron heard them, he stopped midair and looked like he was sick.

"Just ignore them, Ron!" Harry shouted.

"Yeah, just think about anything else!" I shouted. "Tune them out!"

Unfortunately, after hearing that obnoxious song, Ron missed the Quaffle and let it in.

"Another ten points to Slytherin," Lee Jordan said dejectedly. "The score is now fifty-ten in favor of Slytherin."

Malfoy stopped moving and looked at us, particularly Ron and said. "I should thank you, Weasley. You're definitely our best player!"

"Hey, Malfoy?" I asked. "Is that Snitch behind you?"

He quickly turned around in search of the Snitch, but little did he know... I lied.

"Got ya, bitch," I muttered to myself as Malfoy scowled. "Learn how to shut your mouth and pay attention, Mouth-boy."

The Snitch blasted past Malfoy as Harry caught sight and chased after it, Draco coming in after that. Ron and I looked around for the pair and the Snitch, they were both neck and neck and I noticed Crabbe brandishing his club, ready to strike Harry and I rushed forward to stop it.

As Crabbe winded up his club, I managed to get there on time and take the hit for Harry as he caught the Snitch and rolled to the ground as I laid on the ground. As Ron landed, he, Harry and the team came to help me as I suspected the girls would make their way down here too.

Hermione ran the fastest as she slid next to me. "Y/N, are you all right?" She asked frantically as she checked me for any bruises, cuts or scraps and kissed my lips, cheeks and forehead while Malfoy landed.

"I've never seen a worse Keeper!" He shouted. "Maybe we should add some more verses to our song. About his filthy mother!"

George finched forward, ready to strike Malfoy, but Harry and Fred held him back. But it was the last straw. "And his pathetic loser of a father too!"

Fred now wanted to pummel him. I wanted to stop it, but I couldn't risk it. Harry would get hurt again, the Weasley twins would be subjected to Umbridge's torture of a detention, and I was a little hurt, I couldn't stop Malfoy anyway.

"But then, you like the Weasleys, don't you, Potter!" Draco yelled once more. "How can you stand the stink? I guess it reminds you of your dear mother!"

Harry turned around and charged at Draco and crushed his fist on Draco's face, hitting him square in the jaw. George ran too and hit Malfoy too.

"Impedimenta!" Madam Hooch yelled at the boys as they were pushed back off Malfoy.

"What on earth do you two think you're doing?!" Grandma yelled as Harry got to his feet, but Hooch stood in front of him. "Don't make me stupify you, Potter!" She yelled.

Malfoy was bleeding and crying as Grandma took Harry and George by the arm. "My office. Now."

"Professor McGonagall!" Hermione shouted. "It wasn't their fault, it was Malfoy's! We can tell you, we're Prefects! We report to you, right?"

"Absolutely right, Miss Granger," Grandma said to her. "Come to my office after Y/N gets healed by Madam Pomfrey."

Hermione took me to get healed by Madam Pomfrey, I wasn't hurt too badly, so we went to Grandma's office, where Harry and George were being scolded by Grandma.

"I cannot express in words the disappointment I feel now," Grandma said as she spotted us. Mum was here too. "Ah, Miss Granger, Mr. Lovegood. Do you care to tell us how this happened?"

"Draco Malfoy and the Slytherins made a song to ridicule Ronald Weasley during the match," I said. "Ron lost focus and as Harry went to grab the Snitch, Vincent Crabbe was preparing to strike him on the back, which I believe would be against the rules for a Beater. I got in the way so Harry could grab the Snitch."

"Malfoy provoked George and Fred about their family," Hermione said. "Which, concerning Malfoy, isn't just a one time thing."

"Very well," Grandma said. "I will talk to Professor Snape regarding their actions."

Just as she did that, Umbridge let herself in with that sick smile as Grandma, Mum and -- nope, all of us stared daggers at Umbridge, who clearly wasn't wanted.

"What is it, Dolores?" Grandma asked, already tired of her.

"I thought you might need some additional authority in dealing with these two," She said with the smile still evident. "What are those two doing here?"

"They are Prefects," Grandma said. "They reported the true events of what concurred. And you thought wrong. Now kindly remove yourself from my office." She turned back to Harry and George. "Now, I will see about Malfoy, but your performance was shameful. 50 points from Gryffindor, and I'm giving you both a week's detention," She eyed Umbridge with a glare. "With me or Addison."

"I hardly think that's an adequate punishment for this." Umbridge said.

"What did she say, Dolores?" Mum said. "OUT. NOW."

"Don't forget who you report to, Addi-"

"I don't work for the Ministry anymore, you toad." She snapped. "You're lucky I didn't do anything to you for what you did to my son and daughter."

Still, Umbridge held something up. "Educational Decree 25: It gives me, as High Inquisitor, the power to give punishments and privileges, and to alter those given out to students by other members of the staff."

Mum looked disgusted at her. I've never seen her that furious, not even when she scolded us when we were little.

"So I think a life-long ban from playing Quidditch should do the trick for both of these." She said. "Oh, and this one's twin as well. He was going to attack Malfoy as well."

"Of course you would favor the Slytherins," I muttered.

"What was that, Mr. Lovegood?" Umbridge said to me as Mum looked like she was about to kill Umbridge.

I didn't say another word. I just glared at her as my eye glowed.

"Ban us... for life," Harry said.

"Yes, Indeed, Mr. Potter," Umbridge said. "Ah, I'll take your brooms as well."

Before she could take them, Mum waved her hand and the brooms disappeared. Umbridge looked at her in disbelief and asked, "Where did they go?"

"I do think that what Harry and George did wasn't right, regardless of what happened," Addison said. "But that doesn't give you the right to take their brooms. That's not in the Decree, so I hid them. They'll get them back."

Umbridge growled this time while Mum smirked. "You always find a loophole every time, don't you?"

"Look who's smiling now?" She smirked once more. "Now, out, out. No one likes a sour face, Especially yours."

As Umbridge left with that scowl on her face, Mum turned to us and hugged us both. "Despite what happened, it's good to see you all," She said to us. She then turned to me and looked into my eyes.

'I think I should tell Harry about the letter,' She said in my mind. 'He could use a mother figure around now.'

'That's great!' I said back. 'Do you mind if I tell Hermione?'

'Sure,' She smiled. 'Just take George with you, I'll tell him alone.'

"Hey, George?" I said. "Come on, let's get back to the Common Room. It's gonna be alright, mate."

Harry POV

"Harry?" Addison said to me as I stood up. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"

George had already left with Y/N and Hermione, so all the people that were left in the room were me, her and Professor McGonagall. McGonagall looked at Addison as she nodded and left the room with a small smile.

I sat back down as Addison stood there and pulled something out of her pocket. "So, Harry..." She began. "You know I was friends with your parents, right?"

"Yeah, think so," I said. "Y/N and Lana told me that you knew them, and that you're Sirius' cousin."

She laughed a little. "I was the best of friends with your mother. Lily was an absolute treasure, we were so close. We were like sisters. I assume you know about your aunt's relation with your mother?"

I shook my head. I didn't know about this part, Aunt Petunia was always ridiculing Mum and Dad all the time.

"Well, when Petunia found out that Lily was a witch and Muggle-born too," She said. "Their relation became strained, and she regretted going home after every year. When she came here, she met me since I was the first person in the Great Hall. Because of her, Y/N and Lana's father, Langden and I got together.

~Flashback to September 1st, 1971~

3rd POV

Addison Middleton was sitting in the Great Hall, waiting for the other students to arrive. She had lived in the castle all her life and had not really been around another child a lot. But she likes her life in the castle. Her mother, Minerva McGonagall had a room prepared where the two would spend their nights. Before Addison was old enough to attend Hogwarts, Minerva had read books to Addison until she was old to read herself. Addison always had a thirst for knowledge, when she had a question about something, she wouldn't stop until she got an answer or she would figure it out herself.

Most times, it was the latter.

Addison had loved to spend her time in the Library reading Hagrid's Hut to help him around, or at the pitch where she liked to watch the Quidditch players. On this day, she was excited to finally attend the school. Minerva was extremely proud of her, and had hoped she would get Gryffindor, but she would be happy with any house.

As the students flooded into the doors, a certain ginger-haired girl saw Addison sitting all by her lonesome and walked to her, while a black-haired boy followed her.

"Hello," The ginger-haired girl said as Addison looked up at her. "You're a fellow witch, yes?" Addison didn't know what the context this girl had meant. Was she not part of the magical community?

"Y-yes," She said. "I'm a witch."

"Oh," The girl said with a smile on her face. "Well, my name is Lily. Lily Evans. What's yours?"

"My name's Addison. Addison Middleton." Addison said to her, before pointing her eyes on the boy that followed her. "And you are?" She asked kindly.

"S-S-Severus Snape," The boy stuttered a little.

"It's nice to meet you," Addison said. "It's good to know I made some friends."

"How come?" Lily asked. "I don't mean to be rude, but have you not had friends?"

"I haven't," Addison said. "I grew up here all my life. In fact..." She said as she pointed at Minerva. "That's my mum."

Before Lily or Snape could say anything, McGonagall announced, "The Sorting will now begin. When I call your name, you will come up and put the hat on your head, and you will be sorted into your house. Let's begin."

And with that, she called the names.

"Pettigrew, Peter!"

"Gryffindor!"

"Lupin, Remus!"

"Gryffindor!"

"Lovegood, Xenophilius!"

"Ravenclaw!"

"Lovegood, Langden!"

"Ravenclaw!"

Addison couldn't help but notice the boy that stood up. She found him cute, she wanted to get to know him.

"Snape, Severus!"

"Slytherin!"

"Potter, James!"

"Gryffindor!"

"Black, Sirius!"

"Gryffindor!"

"Middleton, Addison!" Minerva said with a smile on her face. As Addison got up, Lily held her back. "Hope we get the same house!" She said with a smile.

"Me too," Addison said, feeling that Lily's smile was contagious.

As she approached the hat, she felt it move on her head.

"I see you have a ready mind," The Hat said in her ear. "Always willing to learn... better be... Ravenclaw!"

Addison beamed. She had a feeling that she would be placed in Ravenclaw.

"Evans, Lily!"

"Gryffindor!"

With that, Addison's face sunk a little. She was hoping that Lily would be placed in her house. As Lily made her way down the Gryffindor table, she managed a small smile as Addison returned one.

After the feast, Lily came over to the Ravenclaw table and tapped Addison on the shoulders as she turned around. "I know that we're in different houses," She said. "But that doesn't mean we can't be friends, right?"

Addison beamed. She would have a friend for the very first time. She didn't respond, but she hugged Lily quickly and muttered, "Thank you."

And over the years, Lily and Addison were practically inseparable. Through Lily, Addison had got to meet Remus Lupin, who she respected, even though she felt something was off about him, but he seemed friendly.

When it came to boys, Lily was chased by the one he didn't want to be around, being James Potter in that case, but Addison was getting closer with the boy she saw at the sorting, Langden. Landgen was friends with another boy in Gryffindor named Sirius along with Remus, who she had made a bond with, like how she had with Lily. Little did she know they were actually cousins.

However, when the time came for Addison to learn that she was Grindelwald's daughter, Landgen and her were finally dating. When Addison learned of it, she was devastated and avoided everyone but Sirius and Lily. When she told them, Sirius and Lily comforted her and didn't stop being her friends. Sirius had revealed that he was actually her cousin at that time and had assured her that Landgen wouldn't hate her.

When the time came for her to talk to Landgen, she plucked up the courage and talked to him in private at the Astronomy tower. She waited there for Landgen until she heard a pair of footsteps coming up, making her stand up and face him.

"Landgen," She said as she stood up and faced him.

"Hey," He said. Landgen was quite different from his twin brother, Xenophilius. He wasn't as kooky as he was, but Addison found him charming. She also found him handsome and quite cute and compassionate, something their future son would inherit from him. In fact, Y/N was a spitting image of Langden at that time. "Is everything okay? You've been avoiding me a lot lately."

"I'm really sorry about that," Addison said. "I... found out something about myself and I didn't know how you'd react."

"Oh," Landgen said. "Are you alright? If you don't mind?"

"Have you ever heard of Gellert Grindelwald?" Addison asked.

"Of course I have," He said. "He fought Dumbledore years ago. What about him?

"What if I told you... You're talking to his daughter?" She said, tears nearly coming out of her eyes.

He stared at her and blinked. "You're Grindelwald's daughter?" He said.

"Yeah," She said to him. "Dumbledore adopted me years ago, and Gellert told him to raise me better, not to be who he was. I understand if you don't want to date me because of this, I completely do and -- mmh!"

She didn't finish her sentence.

Why?

Cause Langden kissed her on the lips.

He continued to kiss her and she melted into it until they stopped. "Langden," She said as Landgen put his finger on her lips.

"Addison," Langden said. "Something like that... isn't going to stop me from loving you."

Addison was surprised at what Langden said. "Y-Y-you... love me?"

"Of course," He said with a smile. "I've always loved you."

"I-I love you too..." She said as she kissed him again.

And all because of her bond with Lily Potter (nee Evans).

Her true sister.

Back to Harry POV

"Mum helped you?" I asked her.

"Yeah," She said. "I loved Lily like a sister that I never had." She took the object in front of her. "Before she died... she wanted to send this letter to me. I told Y/N and Lana about it, but they told me I should ask you first." She handed the letter to me as I read the letter.

Dear Addison,

Harry has been a bundle of joy in our lives and he has put nothing but smiles on our faces. He is just so adorable, James reckons he's got my eyes. Hopefully when You-Know-Who is defeated, Y/N and Lana would get to meet him.

I hope you are doing better after Langden's tragic death, just know that James and I are here for you if you need anything, anything at all. You have been like a sister all these years. Which is why I wanted to ask you something...

James has made Sirius godfather to Harry in case anything was to happen to us. I thought we should have something in case if something were to happen to Sirius.

Which is why I want to ask you if you want to be Harry's godmother.

I re-read the sentence over and over again to see if I read it right and I did read it right. "You're my godmother?

"I would have been," Addison answered. "If I got this letter after Lily wrote it. That's what I wanted to ask, if you want, I could become your godmother and you don't have to live with the Dursleys. Sirius could come --"

Before she could finish, I got up from my chair and hugged her as she smiled and returned it. "I'll take that as a yes," She said.

"Thank you," I muttered. "Thank you so much."

"Of course," She said as she held me like her own son. "Now, I think you should go back to Y/N and Hermione. He knows about the letter, so I suppose he's your godbrother now."

"Thank you," I said again. "I think I'll like it better than the Dursleys."

"Oh, yes, for sure," Addison said. "I've seen Petunia and her husband, they're just - ugh. You take care now, Harry."

I left the office and walked toward the Gryffindor Common Room to find the team, Y/N and Hermione sitting on the couches. Y/N had changed out of his Quidditch Robes and into his school robes, and now sitting next to Hermione holding hands with her, as Hermione's head fell onto his lap.

"I can't believe it..." Angelina said. "Three players banned for life in one day."

"And as usual, the Slytherins aren't," Y/N said. "Umbridge's more biased than Snape, even though he wouldn't do that."

"I'm going to resign," Ron said as I fell into a chair, causing everyone to look at Ron.

"You can't!" I said.

"I'm horrible!" Ron said. "I should have never joined."

"If you quit, we'll be out four players!"

"This is the worst day of my life." Ron said as his hands.

A sudden swish came in as Lana appeared in the room as the Gryffindor team nearly fell out of their seats. "Oh, sorry about that," Lana said shyly. "But I think I know that could cheer you up. Hagrid's back!"

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the way to Hagrid's hut, there was little talking until Y/N came around to me. "So... did Mum tell you?" He asked. "About the letter?"

I looked at him. "Um... yeah, she did. She was gonna be my godmother?"

"That's what your mother wanted to ask Mum," Lana said. "I guess that's what Lily would have wanted."

"Then it should be a good thing that she's my godmother now," I said as both of the twin's eyes widened with that sentence.

"You said yes?!" Lana said with a smile. "That's amazing! You don't have to live with those pricks anymore!" She quickly hugged me as Y/N patted my back with his free hand since Hermione was holding his other hand.

We arrived at the Hut where the door was open and we took our seats at the table. Hagrid had boiled some water over his fire and turned around for us to find his face covered with cuts and bruises.

"Hagrid, what happened to you?" I asked.

"I've fine, I tell yeh!" He bellowed as he took a fish and slapped it across his skin.

"Come off it, Hagrid!" Ron said. "We're not blind!"

"Was it because of the giants?" Y/N and Lana asked.

Hagrid looked at us with a look of realization. "Can' answer tha' I'm afraid," He said. "Top secret, that is. Business of the Order."

"Lana and I are part of the Order," Y/N retorted. "And we know you were looking for giants, Mum told us."

Hagrid looked at us and grunted. "Oh, Well, yeah, I was then." He said. "Went with Madam Maxime. Took us a month to get to their camp."

Hagrid told us about their encounter with the giants, which didn't go well, due to a new chief giant favoring the ideals of the Death Eaters.

"So... no giants are coming?" Ron asked.

"Well, no righ' away," Hagrid said. "We brought our message, an' I expect' a fair few'll remember it afore teh end comes." He looked outside, squinted and said, "Ay, Y/N, Lana, ain't tha' your cousin out there?"

"Luna's here?" Y/N asked. "I should go and check on her. Hey, 'Mione, Lana want to come?"

"Yeah, we'll come, Love," Hermione said as she took Y/N's hand and Lana followed out, waving goodbye, leaving Hagrid confused.

"Love?" He asked us. "They finally got together, didn' they? They snogging?"

Hermione POV

Y/N, Lana and I walked out of the hut and towards Luna, who was looking up at something above here. Whatever she was looking at, Y/N and Lana were looking too, but there was nothing there. The only question I had after that was why Luna was barefoot.

"Hello, Y/N, Lana and Hermione," Luna said without looking back.

"Luna, where are your shoes?" Y/N asked, concerned. "Aren't your feet cold?"

Luna looked down. "Bit. Unfortunately all my shoes have mysteriously disappeared. I suspect Nargles are behind it."

"Okay, if that's what you believe, Luna," Lana said kindly before turning to us. "Some students took them and hid them through the castle, it's awfully mean. I've been trying to find them."

Y/N walked over a little as he stopped and reached his hand out to something. Then he gently brought it down, similar to how he did with Buckbeak two years ago. "What's around here?" I asked, curiously.

"They're Thestrals," Y/N said. "Even though the history of them is dark, they kind of look beautiful."

"You mentioned they're only seen by people who have seen death, right?" I asked as I grabbed his hand. "I'm guessing cause the death of your father allows you and Lana to see them?"

From a distance, I saw Luna take out an apple from her bag and rolled it on the ground. In moments, pieces were no longer there and replaced by bite marks in it.

"Luna can see them cause of Aunt Pandora's death," Y/N said as he saw me looking at Lana and Luna. "One of her experiments went badly wrong. Luna was 9 at the time."

"Oh my god," I said as I looked back at Luna. "I feel so sorry for her. And for you both too."

He managed a small smile on his face. "It's okay, Hermione." He said. "Dad and Aunt Pandora are in a better place now. And Lana and I are there for Luna. She's like our sister, we both love and care for her.

"That's really, really sweet of you, Y/N," I said to him. "And I'm there for you too. I love you a lot, you know that?"

"I know, Love," He said as he planted his lips on mine. "I love you a lot too. Can't wait for our future together..."

"I can't wait either, Babe," I said. "Especially when we have kids." I smirked a little and quickly kissed him on the neck, making him blush a little and wrapped his arms around me as we still watched the Thestrals.

Even if I couldn't see them.

A couple of hours later, the first meeting of Dumbledore's Army had arrived as the five of us followed Y/N and Lana to the Room of Requirement. Harry was in his school robes, while Y/N and Lana wore their overcoats from their father. Y/N said it would probably make him look more professional.

I said it made him look handsome.

Maybe even some better than handsome.

As we entered, we found all the students who joined as Harry had a smile on his face. "Glad to see all of you could find this place all right." He said.

"Hey," Anne asked. "What is all this stuff?"

"These are all devices used for class," Y/N said as he picked up a Sneakoscope. "Loads of equipment used, especially for Aurors. We'll get to them before the end of term for the O.W.L.s."

Then Lana addressed everyone. "You need to understand something before we start, though." She said to everyone. "Defending yourself from the Darks Arts has less to do with Magical ability and more to do with thinking fast and a lot of luck."

She looked back at Harry and Y/N, who nodded as she turned around. "We have decided to do Expelliarmus tonight, though hopefully we can move on to other things if we have time."

"Oh please," Zacharias Smith scoffed. "Professor Lockhart taught us that in second year."

Y/N's eyes widened as he looked at Smith. "Wouldn't do that if I were you, Smith." Ron said to him.

"Right then, Mr. Smith," Y/N said as he stepped off the platform. "How would everyone like a demonstration then? Come on, don't be shy, take out your wand."

Zacharias scoffed once more and removed it. "Now, try any spell," Y/N said. "Anything but Unforgivables, for obvious reasons."

"Confri-" Smith said as he cast the movement before Y/N quickly took his own wand and shouted, "Expelliarmus!" knocking the wand out of his hands as he looked back.

"See?" He said. "The Disarming Spell works for anything to defend you, such as the Blasting Spell Mr. Smith used."

"And also Lockhart didn't teach it to us," I said to Anne who was next to me, grinning. "Y/N beat him in a duel."

"Who was Lockhart, anyway?" She asked.

"He was an author who took credit for other's work and removed their memories," I said. "His memory charm backfired on him and now, even he doesn't know who he is."

"Right." Harry said. "Well, let's split into pairs and give it a go."

I paired up with Anne, Ron paired up with Neville and Y/N, Lana and Harry were walking around to check if anyone needed help. Anne was pretty good at it, if she had the kind of teaching we had, she would be incredible, even if she wasn't taking O.W.Ls.

"So..." Y/N said as he came around to us. "How are we doing on the first day?"

"You're doing great, sweetheart," I said as I kissed him. "You all are."

"Yeah, you guys are great!" Anne said, jumping up and down. "Better than that Umbridge toad, all she does make us read that stupid textbook."

Everyone went on, practicing the spell with Harry, Y/N and Lana watching everyone's progress with a smile on their face. "Okay, everyone." Harry said. "We've done a lot today, and we've seen some great improvement. That's all for now. We'll meet back here, same time next week!"

As everyone cleared out, Y/N took off his overcoat and rolled up his sleeves, no longer caring about the scar on his arm. "Well, well, Professor!" I grinned at him. "Someone's looking handsome."

"Why thank you," He smiled and kissed me. "I wanted to look good for my girlfriend."

"They're really cute!" Anne said to Lana, who was watching us.

"I know, right!" Lana said. "I like you, kid."

"You know, I'm feeling a bit cold," I said to him. I left my jumper in his room, so I was feeling rather cold.

"Here, take this," He said as he put his overcoat on my shoulders and kissed me on the cheek. As he put it on me, I felt his warmth from it and the smell of vanilla filled my nose with delight. "You feel warmer?"

"Yeah," I smiled at him. "Should we go?"

"Yeah," He said as Harry, Ron and Anne joined us.

"See you all tomorrow!" Lana said as she and Luna left with Cho, Cedric, Sam and Kayla. I nearly forgot Cho was dating Cedric, Harry did fancy her a lot.

"Bye, Lana!" I said as the boys waved with Anne. "Bye, Luna!"

As we entered the Common Room, Y/N and I got ready for bed as Snuffles jumped into our bed as we put on our pajamas. I'm guessing Professor McGonagall didn't have a problem with me sleeping in Y/N's room, so I had some of my clothes in here, but I always put on one of Y/N's hoodies when we went to bed. We got in the bed and I snuggled closer to Y/N, wrapped my arms around him and put my head to his chest, where I could hear his heartbeat.

"Good night, 'Mione," Y/N said as he kissed me softly. "I love you."

"I love you more," I kissed him back and looked at Snuffles who was watching us adorably. I smiled at the Niffler and pecked his head and Y/N brushed his fur gently as he slowly laid on the bed and chirped at us. "Mummy and Daddy love you too, Snuffles."

And with that, we fell asleep.

Before someone screaming woke us up hours later.
