this is incredibly fucking late and i am sorry. i'm also busy with school (stresses me out a whole lot).

I don't know where to start, but uhm.. My fiancé and I don't really meet as much as we used to because of work. He coaches a high school volleyball, and I work as a news writer for the local channel here in Miyagi. I always stay at work most of the time and it's sorta annoying to be unable to spend time with my partner.
Whenever we try to make time for each other, dates would usually be an hour or three long because we have things to do, responsibilities to tend to. Though we are engaged, we don't live under the same roof. My parents didn't want me to live with him because we're not married, it's not always nice to be an only child, things like this is.. what you'll experience everyday.
I really wish we could spend more time but work takes most of our free time. I'd have to research and write the next news, there's news every other hour and we gotta write that down. Though I am not the only writer for the local news, I still am needed. Writing news isn't as easy as people think so, us writers have to be there to fill in the empty spaces.
But, as a very special gift given to me by our head writer, I am given the time off. A month off. I was surprised and anxious at first, thinking that they probably didn't want me there but actually they noticed. I do most of the 'filling-in-the-empty-spaces' so I stay more than anyone in our team. I thank the heavens that I finally get to be with him.
I lightly knock on the metal door, having the athletes suddenly turn to me, so did he. The players already know who I am since I interview them about Inter High Qualifiers and other things about volleyball.
Keishin's cheeks are slightly red but he's still keeping his cool. The players gathered in front of me and greeted me a good afternoon. I simply smiled and returned the bow, even if I'm older, politeness and respectfulness must always be present.
The boys went on and did self practice, having my fiancé finally approach me. "Did you eat?" Is the first thing that he asked, arm going around my shoulder as he gave me a kiss on the top of my head. I nod and smile sweetly, leaning my head on his shoulder. "What brings you here at this hour? You're usually busy."
"I have a month off of work." I felt him chuckle. "I can finally spend time with you."
"We'll be over soon, I'll give them food from the shop before we could go. Is that alright with you?" I nod, seeing a few players look at us. I give them a smile and their cheeks turn red. "You should take a seat, you must be tired."
I got a kiss on the cheek before he let me go for me to sit on the bench. It's true that I am in fact tired, wearing half an inch heels tire my feet out. I might have a wound again, they really hurt. I had a small talk with the two managers, finding the younger one cute. She's really shy, she's like the freckled boy.
I've seen Keishin play before, he was a setter if I am not mistaken. I don't really remember much and I'm not really from this school, I was from Date Tech. I only saw him during a match back in the days, I was a cheerleader for our school's cheering squad. He and I aren't exactly together since high school, we became acquaintances in high school but we got together in college.
When I saw him in college, it was weird. I knew his name (mainly because of his last name) but I wasn't able to recall who he was. He was bald like Tanaka so, seeing him with hair sorta confused me when we met again. He had black hair then but he bleached it, I laughed when I found out because he said that he saw me fangirling over blonde guys. Appearances don't really matter to me.
I kinda want to get married already, mom and dad is being so greedy with me. Because we are engaged, it's clear to both of us that he's gotten my parents' approval of him tie the knot with me. They're just being protective parents and I understand where they are coming from, I am the only child so they must be feeling lonely whenever I'm gone.
"(Y/n)-san.." I turn to see the tangerine, looking a bit flustered as he approached me. "W-When will I get interviewed? Y-You interviewed Kageyama and the beanpole already...." He asks in a quiet voice, playing with his fingers and his eyes were looking everywhere.
"When I will be seeing you get into Nationals." I answer, seeing his face light up and eyes sparkle from the sound of my answer. "I've been meaning to interview you, I was just unable to because of other things. Though I'm not quite sure of what I'll be asking you..."
"It's okay!" He threw his hands to the air, bringing one down to give me a thumbs up. "Thank you (Y/n)-san!" He held both of my hands as he smiled brightly from excitement. "Coach chose the right woman." I blink my eyes in shock, letting out a chuckle when I completely processed his words.
"Go ahead and practice, he's looking at us." Though I know what that gaze really means, I had to of course change the way I would deliver my words. He nods repeatedly, skipping happily to the basket to get a ball.
I just smiled sweetly at Keishin and he gave me the look, I already know what'll happen once we're alone. I averted my attention to my phone when I got messages about the news. I'm already off work and they're still bothering me with work.
I had to immediately write down the revised version of whatever they sent me. I'm not even the editor but I guess they want my help instead. Writing and rewriting news, those two being a routine to me, they're just simple tasks. Though, they do give me headaches sometimes.
Their practice ended and I'm still on my phone. I'm still rewriting one script. Keishin understands that I had to do what I am currently doing so, he didn't bother me. He just has his arm around my waist, for him to direct me to Sakanoshita Store-- their store.
I look up when he suddenly stopped walking. Oh, we're here. I take a seat to wait for him, still continuing on writing the news. I felt his hand on my shoulder, getting a kiss on the top of my head as he brushed my hair. I hold his hand to stop him, I don't want to fall asleep.
"Eat a proper meal once you get home." He said, making me look up at the boys that are already about to leave. They all replied a yes, giving me a smile and a wave. I smile apologetically, turning back to my phone when they all left. "How much more time do you need?" He asked, kneeling in front of me which caught my attention.
"Hmm... I don't know but I'll be quick. Just a few more lines." He nodded, leaning in to press a kiss on my lips. "I'm sorry." He shook his head and stood, covering my legs by placing his jacket around my lap.
I felt bad for making him wait so I really did try my best to finish it quickly. He's being soft and understanding, he might've just regained control over himself when he saw how busy I am. He's holding back, thoughtful and selfless.
I press send when I finally finished the last one, turning to him and found him taking a nap on the counter. I let out a sigh as I stand from my seat, kissing his cheek and tapping his shoulder lightly to wake him up. I smile at him and he stood, taking his things and my hand, bringing me outside.
I don't always go home to my parents' house because work is far from home, so I rented an apartment for me to stay in during my hectic schedules. He drove us there, heading immediately to the kitchen to cook dinner. So he's really gotten control over himself, I guess we won't be doing anything.
I went to the bedroom and got changed, I wore his shirt and just my pajama pants. I already took my bra off, I felt tired with having it on. I sat on the table and watched him cook, I could've done it but he insisted. I would act cute whenever he turns to me, getting a peck on my lips or cheek.
"When do you plan on marrying me?" He hummed as he thought of his answer, I kinda want to get married already. "Not that I'm trying to rush anything.."
"I get where you're coming from. It's okay." I just nod even without him looking at me. "We've been engaged for.. 4 years. We could start planning on it actually, do you want to?" I hum in response, smiling to myself when he finally asked that. "You do have a month off..."
"Are you serious? Isn't that a bit...?"
"Do you really want to get married or what?" He asks, chuckling and smiling as he turned to me. "Unless, you love someone else and you'd wish to be with another man." He playfully stuck his tongue out, quickly turning to the stove to turn it off. "If you love me and if you really want to be with me.. then I don't see the problem in that, (Y/n)." He says, holding on to the edge of the table with his eyes looking deep into mine, leaning a bit forward to be closer to me.
"You talk about breaking up like it's an easy thing for us." He leaned back and walk up to me, cupping my cheek as he leaned in to kiss my lips.
"I really would've made it seem like it's an easy topic if we broke up. I can't hold on to you if you don't really love me." I peck his lips, it turning into a kiss when he pulled me closer. "I love you."
"I love you too."
He served the food and gave me a bowl of rice, sitting beside me as we ate. I asked him a few questions about his team and he asked me about work. We don't see each other a lot everyday so, simple things like this make us happy to know more about the other. We also sometimes don't contact each other, too busy. I understand and he does too.
Someone said that he might be cheating on me already, but no he isn't. Not because I have faith in him but because I know how he is. He'd stop acting sweet and caring once he tries to discard of something. Just like how he is with his belongings and possessions, the same thing goes to his former friends. I've seen how he acted in such situations so I'm not worried.
I washed the dishes and he vacuumed the apartment. He stays with me when he can so he has clothes here too, today's one of those days. I don't feel like showering so I just rested on the couch when I finished washing the dishes, having him sit beside me when he was done with his task too.
We cuddled while watching movies, mostly they were Studio Ghibli movies. I think there's a special event that's why they're just playing movies by them. I personally enjoy movies like these rather than the usual romance movies you'd find after searching through countless channels. This is how we'd have our date back then.
I'm about to fall asleep on him but I don't want to sleep yet, we're supposed to be hanging out. I've yawned quite a few times and he'd kiss the side of my head whenever I do, I really want to stay awake more. I stand from the couch and head to the kitchen, tiredly making my way to the fridge to get a drink.
"Don't drink Coke." He says from the living room, making me glance at him and sigh.
I was supposed to drink Coke but I guess he won't let me, it is pretty late. I wouldn't be able to fall asleep later. I just get a bottle of water and head back, making myself comfortable in his arms once again. I'm probably really tired, I can't even open the bottle on my own. He chuckled and opened it for me.
"You're tired, let's head to bed." I frown as I whine a little, moving closer for me to make him stay. "We have a whole month for just the two of us, a night won't make a difference." He pecked my lips and turned off the TV, standing with his hand out for me to take.
We went to bed and I fell asleep only after a few minutes. I might need to rest... but I want to spend time with him. I have to go to my parents' house tomorrow to check on them, they probably want me there with them but I'm also contemplating whether I should just stay with Keishin.
I woke up the next morning, smelling the familiar aroma of fried rice. He's already cooking breakfast. I check the time and it's only 7 AM, should I go back to bed? He wouldn't be here anyway, he has to train the kids in Karasuno. With the tiredness taking over me, I fall back to my bed and fell asleep once again.
"(Y/n)— You're sleeping again?" I heard him say, I'm half-awake. I felt the cushion sink, feeling his hand on my waist. I'm laying on my stomach and my position on the bed isn't as proper as you think it is. "(Y/n), I'm leaving for work. No goodbye kiss?" Is what he said, something he always says that manages to wake me up.
"I'm... awake.." I say, yawning in between my words. He sighed and pulled me up, squishing and rubbing my cheeks with his hand for me to open my eyes. "Stop.." He cupped my cheeks and leaned in, placing a soft kiss on my lips, a smile forming on my face. "Good morning.." I say, wrapping my arms around his waist while I rest my cheek on his chest.
"Come on." He tried pulling me up but I pulled him down instead, he's now hovering over me. "(Y/n).." I like how he's not yet tying his hair up, I like it down like this. I brush my fingers through his hair, looking at the roots and the strands of it. My eyes landed on his when I felt his knee near my clothed womanhood.
"What?" I ask, seeing him look at me lovingly yet hungrily. "Keishin." He pulled my shirt up, letting the hem rest on my breasts. "Love, what are you doing?" I let out a muffled moan when he started kissing my abdomen. "T-This early?"
"Hmm?" He went up and pressed his lips on mine, hand playing with the skin between my breasts. He pulled the shirt up again until I was exposed to him. He played with the water a lot, I almost stung my eye because of him. When he was done taking a shower, he gave me a kiss before going out to change and leave for work. I took a bath after he left, I needed to relax. I'm excited about our marriage. Being an Ukai probably is my current dream, then of course, having a child of our own.
I just watched random dramas on TV after I ate, non were really interesting so I just went with Netlfix. Though I mostly didn't pay attention to whatever I was watching, I still watched it. I don't know why I am actually still watching it but I guess I'm just really bored. My coworkers haven't asked for help so, I don't have anything else to do.
I decided to bake cookies. I craved for chocolate chip cookies so I went to the grocery store real quick. I got the ingredients for the cookies, I made sure I bought a lot so that I could have a lot of stock of cookies at home. I want to eat cookies and share some with everyone. Maybe I could sell them but nah, I don't like making people pay so let's just share them.
I also bought other food so I could cook dinner for us later. I messaged Keishin if he wanted cookies with cereal and almonds, he said anything that I'd make he would he fine with them. I love my fiancé.. anyway. I had to book a cab, I got way too many and it was really heavy and difficult to carry. I can't believe I got too carried away.
Whenever I bake, I usually make more than 50. I always give them away anyway so it's fine to make more than that. I'd be eating 20 of what I baked so who cares? Oh wait, he does but I don't... maybe a little. I also bought more Coke to go with the cookies once I finished them, favorite snack with my favorite drink.
"I'll tell the boys about the cookies, they might want to try training more. Especially that tangerine." I chuckle at his comment, I'm putting the chocolate chips. "You feeling okay? I did tire you out right after you woke up." I hum and smile, he's so thoughtful.
"What time will you be here? These cookies will be ready by then." I put the phone down on the table and put it on speaker phone. "I'll also try to visit mom and dad today, I'll bring them cookies if I could go."
"I'll be home early today. I told the boys to rest so I wouldn't really be needed later." He'll be home earlier... I guess I should cook now too. "I'll help if you're not yet done with that, don't tire yourself too much. I have to go. I'll see you in a few, I love you."
"Kk, I love you too. Be careful." He hummed before he ended the call.
I finished the cookies! I just have to let them cool before I ate them. I made them chewy but not too much, I can't wait to eat them. I got hungry just by smelling them, I can smell nuts and chocolate and of course the dough. I hope the boys will love these, I really put effort into my cookies. I do hope it's not too sweet for them, it's okay for me but I don't know about everyone.
I put them in a jar after they cooled. I filled three huge jars, I took it way too far. I left the two jars in the kitchen and brought one with me to the living room. I ate more than 20, they're so yummy! I forgot about cooking dinner so I just let the drama play while I cooked, I can multitask so it's fine just a little hard.
We're eating pork-chops tonight, I'm seriously craving for whatever pops in my head. Fried pork-chop— maybe? I don't even know exactly what I'm cooking but they look fine so it's okay. I defrosted the pork first for 30 minutes to an hour so I waited on the couch. I want to watch more Studio Ghibli movies so I chose "When Marnie Was There," it was cute.
I went ahead and cooked while my head was on the movie. I managed to do things properly, I didn't burn or undercook anything so it was okay. There's still rice in the rice cooker so I didn't make more, I got lazy and tired. I didn't get to visit my parents anymore, they might be sulking already. I'd have to go there tomorrow, dad will blame Keishin for keeping me from him again... that's just ha...
I'm resting on the couch and just then I heard the door. "Hey.." He kissed the top of my head and quickly brushed my hair, going around the couch to sit with me. "Did you eat?" I shake my head and snuggle closer. "You didn't have to wait for me.."
"But.. either way, I got tired so I rested first. Oh and here." I got a cookie and fed him one, seeing him smile as he chewed on it. "Is it good? Not too sweet or anything?" He smiled and gave me a kiss on the lips, he got another one but I stopped him. "Dinner first." He chuckled and nodded. "Or do you wanna shower first?"
"Eat." He kissed my forehead and we headed to the kitchen. He smiled when he saw the food. I also made soup if he didn't want to eat pork, if he didn't then I would finish them all by myself. "You made a lot of cookies." I just smile and he chuckled, I do love them. "I'm free tomorrow morning, I'll head to work in the afternoon. Let's visit your parents and tell them that we'll get married soon."
"I love you." He kissed my cheek and got me a bowl of rice. "Hey... if we have a baby what would his or her name be?" It's sudden but I want to know.
"Izuki if the baby's a he and Mei if the baby's a she." He already thought of this. "If you get pregnant, I'll be watching over you. You have to eat healthy foods only, no snacks like too many cookies. Fruits and vegetables, no Coke." I frown at the last part, I want my Coke. "You can be as clingy as you want and you can demand for food, as long as it's good for the baby."
"Protective Keishin, manly." I comment, seeing him bite his lip to stop smiling. He fed me a piece of the pork to shut me up, he's too flattered. I can compliment him all day.
I really love him, he knows what he's doing and he knows when to act like an overprotective man and when not to. He lets me do what I want so we don't really argue on things like doing what I wish to do. He understands my part and I understand his, whenever he has to decide on something he asks me. He really wants to get used to having me in his decisions.
When I showered he came in and things happened there, and they continued in the bedroom. I got so tired that I woke up around 12 the next day. He just really missed being around me. We still went to my parents house and their reactions were priceless, my dad cried and gave him a thumbs up. Mom just smiled and congratulated us, smacking dad for being childish.
I didn't take his time too much and still let him work while we prepared for the wedding. We only invited a few guests and made sure that the date wouldn't clash with other important events. My boss gave me more time off since we were getting married and usually honeymoon comes after that but we didn't really planned that.
Keishin had to be there for the team, I watched them play against Shiratorizawa and I was so amazed by Hinata. "Go Karasuno!" I cheered, seeing a smile form on his face. He smiled when he saw me. I waved at the boys and they turned to me and bowed quickly.
Keishin did a great job training these boys, they were amazing. Then that glasses boy! He blocked Ushiwaka! I suddenly got reminded of Udai Tenma, the little giant from our time. Hinata might be the next if things go for the best for him. I really hope that these boys will reach greater heights, they've got potential. I don't want to be disappointed again, Tenma stopped after high school.
They won and I saw Keishin outside. "Congrats!" I heard random reactions from the kids when I hugged him. He just chuckled and hugged me back. "Hinata and Kageyama you guys were amazing! The fast attack! I want to see more! Hinata I will interview you soon just wait and see."
"Y-Yes ma'am!" He smiled brightly at me and bowed. He really loves volleyball.
The boys went ahead to prepare for the awarding ceremony and I stayed with Keishin before they were up. "Thanks for coming." I smile sweetly and he kissed the top of my head. "We'll celebrate after this, you should tag along."
"Keishin..." He raised his brows. "I love you."
"You're so cute.. I love you too."

We got married and the whole team was invited so, Hinata was really energetic and Nishinoya and Tanaka as well. Everyone we invited was able to come and I'm happy. I kinda laughed along with the team when they started laughing at the sight of Keishin wearing a Tuxedo.
Aside from marriage, I also got pregnant and it's a boy. Izuki is really cute! When he turned 1, he started walking and I always brought him with us to Keishin's work. He would always crawl or walk to a ball he sees. Hinata's his favorite.. oni-chan? or uncle? I don't know. He would reach his arms out to him and ask him to carry him.
"Hinata ni-cha!" Hinata smiled brightly when he saw Izuki and he carried him. "Volleyball!" He looked at me like he was shocked to hear it. "Ni-cha.... ball!"
"He really likes it, he always likes playing with volleyballs." His mouth formed the shape of an 'o' and he kissed the side of his head. "He wants to be like you." He smiled brighter and nuzzled his nose.
"Izuki will be like ni-chan someday!" He cheered and Izuki smiled a lot. "Where's coach?" I pointed to the end of the court and he turned to him. "He seems busier these days huh? Well then, ni-chan will train now! Watch ni-chan!" He gave Izuki back to me and ran off to train.
"Mommy.. hungry.."
I went to the restroom real quick to fix my clothes while I hid him underneath. I had a shawl with me so I had my chest covered with it, Izuki just slowly fell asleep. Hinata sulked when he noticed that he was sleeping in my arms already. Daichi scolded him for losing focus. Izuki's really quiet most of the times, it's like he's always sleepy.
Keishin just checked on us every now and then, he always made sure that my chest would be covered with the shawl. He put the bench farther to the side for us to sit and be away from the court to prevent Izuki getting hit by the ball. Hinata do make sure that the balls would never fly to him so I was assured that we were safe.
"Mommy..." Izuki suddenly cried the moment he woke up. Keishin immediately assigned someone else to continue the drills and took him from me. "Dada.. scary.." Did he have a nightmare? He's really crying.
"It's okay.. Daddy's here.." I really felt like we disturbed their practice but I was surprised myself so I didn't really have a choice. "It was a bad dream. It's over.." Izuki reached for my shirt, he wants to drink again. Keishin covered me and helped me fix my clothes for him to drink. "We'll be over soon." He kissed the top of my head and Izuki on the cheek before heading back.
Izuki stopped crying and fell asleep again, he's peaceful now. I waited for them to finish while singing to Izuki to make sure he's fine. I'd kiss his cheek whenever he moves around. Hinata pouted his lips while he brushed Izuki's hair, he really wanted him to watch him play. He's treating Izuki like his younger brother.
We got home and Keishin put Izuki to bed. I took a shower and he got food heated up for us, I'm actually quite tired already. After showering, I had the urge to puke. I threw up and felt so sick, don't tell me that I'm pregnant again. It's only been a year and a few months, but I don't know if there's any explanation for this.
"Love you okay?" I shake my head and Keishin put my hair away. I'm still bare. He pat my back and helped me out. He the towel and wrapped it around my shoulders. "Wait here." He left and when he got back he had clothes for me. I changed into them and he carried me to the bed. "I'll get food, do you still have an appetite?" I nod.
Keishin fed me, he didn't force me when I couldn't eat more than I had. He did complain for a few times but he couldn't do anything about it, I'm going to be a handful for the next few months again, if I am pregnant. I never thought it was a thing with me but during my first trimester, I always get cold easily.
"I'm sorry.. I'm going to be a handful for the next few months again." I chuckle quietly, seeing him smile as he leaned in to press a soft kiss on my lips.
"I am your husband, (Y/n).. it's fine with me, no matter how hard things will be, I'm here. I love you."
okay so uhm.. idk if this was okay HAHAHA and ye for a long wait this was kinda meh. but don't worry y'all get sakusa, tendou, and terushima soon. memoria's done so uhm thanks for those who read it! i will write more soon and sorry for being ia here!!!! i love you all and i hope you all enjoyed this nonetheless.
