" Chloe and Maze were sitting together planning Trixie's birthday "
Chloe : I'm so out of ideas , I don't think she's gonna like all of these
" Chloe sighed "
Maze : don't give up decker , it's your daughter that we're talking about , I'm sure there is something she likes!
Chloe : I know but my brain is not even working anymore , so I can't think of anything
Maze : what about Unicorns? Or Rainbows? That's what kids like right?
Chloe : yes but not my kid
Maze : damn she's a tough one
Chloe : yeah
" maze placed her head on Chloe's lap and sighed "
Maze : mermaids?
Chloe : I'll add that to the list
" 15 minutes later , Chloe was tired , the living room was a mess , papers and pens everywhere , Chloe's Laptop was on the sofa , Chloe yawned , Maze looked at her "
Maze : hey , why don't you go to sleep? I'll clean up and leave
Chloe : no it's okay I'll clean up , and you can stay here if you want , it's getting late
" Maze smiled "
Maze : it's never late , by the way the night's just getting started , but thanks decker
" Chloe smiled and yawned again "
Maze : you have no strength to clean up right now so just go to bed
" maze stood up "
Chloe : no I can clea....
Maze : don't make me call the devil

Chloe : is that supposed to scare me?
" Chloe noticed that Maze was talking about Lucifer "
Chloe : I uh.. I think I'll go to bed
Maze : that's what I thought

" Chloe went upstairs , Maze started cleaning up , suddenly she heard footsteps , she turned around and saw Trixie rubbing her eyes and yawning "
Trixie : mommy?
Maze : your mom is sleeping
" trixie looked at her "
Trixie : who are you?
Maze : Im Mazikeen
" trixie giggled "
Maze : what's so funny little human?
Trixie : your name is funny
Maze : well you can call me maze
Trixie : I'm Beatrice , but you can call me Trixie
" Trixie sat on the sofa and tapped on it , Maze sat next to her "
Maze : don't you have school tomorrow?
Trixie : I do
Maze : then why are you awake? Your mom will kill me if she finds out that I'm sitting here talking to you in the middle of the night
Trixie : I had a nightmare
Maze : really?
Trixie : yeah , mommy and I were having ice cream , and then she ran away , she was scared and screaming , and then she fell off the cliff
" a teardrop rolled down her cheek , Maze placed her hand on Trixie's shoulder "
Maze : it's okay little human , it's just a nightmare , your mom is fine
Trixie : but she has a really dangerous job , she shoots people all the time , she almost died last week , even daddy does the same
Maze : don't worry about your mother , she's really brave , and strong ,
" Trixie smiled "
Maze : she's really protected , not that she needs protection , but we all are here for her , specially Lucifer
Trixie : how do you know Lucifer?
Maze : he's my friend
Trixie : really?
Maze : yeah
Trixie : I like him , he's really funny , I think mommy likes him too but she hates to admit it
Maze : yeah tell me about it , she's really stubborn
Trixie : he makes her happy , she talks about him all the time , she told me that Lucifer is hiding something from her and it's really bothering her
Maze : really?
Trixe : yeah , you're his friend and you know him right?
" Maze nodded "
Trixie : tell me his secret I promise not to tell mommy
" she crossed her legs and smiled "
Trixie : is he a magician?
Maze : well if I tell you his secret , it won't be a secret anymore
" Trixie frowned "
Maze : but I'm pretty sure he'll tell you one day , if he's a magician , he'll show you a magic trick too
" Trixie exclaimed "

Maze : come on , off to bed little human
" Trixie got up and walked towards her room , she looked at Maze "

" Chloe was sleeping peacefully , Trixie walked in the room quietly and jumped on the bed "
Trixie : mommy wake up
" Trixie fell next to her mother and poked her cheek "
Trixie : mommy come on it's 6 am
" Chloe groaned "
Trixie : wake up mommy , Lucifer is here
" Chloe's eyes shot open , she jumped out of the bed "
Chloe : oh god , what is he doing here? Did you talk to him? Is he coming upstairs? Oh no
" Trixie laughed "
Chloe : w-why are you laughing?
Trixie : he's not here mommy , I said that to wake you up
" she continued laughing , Chloe sat next to her on the bed "

Trixie : I know it wasn't but I liked it
" Chloe shook her head and smiled "
Trixie : why do you get scared around him?
Chloe : I don't

" trixie giggled "
Chloe : okay I just don't want him to hear me snoring like a truck driver

Trixie : on his birthday you didn't come back home , so I figured you were still celebrating with him

Chloe : by the way I thought Jessica was having a sleepover , why didn't you stay?
Trixie : she was but I wanted to go home , so I called daddy , he brought me home but you weren't there so I went with daddy

" Chloe caressed her cheek "

" Chloe's heart skipped a beat "

Trixie : Lucifer's birthday party , did you have fun?

Trixie : your face is getting so red
" she touched Chloe's cheeks "

" Trixie crossed her arms "

Trixie : we talked about Lucifer for a minute and your face turned red as a tomato , I mean I love you and daddy so much and I talk about you guys all the time , but I don't get a red face

" Trixie went to her room , Chloe sighed and ran her fingers through her hair , she got off the bed and went to the bathroom and took a shower , later , she wore a grey crew neck short sleeve tee with a black high waist high stretch skinny jeans , she grabbed her Lace-up front skate shoes and put it on , she pulled her hair up into a bun and grabbed the perfume , she sprayed on her neck and chest , she smelled it and smiled , Trixie walked in the room "
Trixie : I'm ready mommy
Chloe : just a minute monkey
" Chloe grabbed a mascara and applied it on her beautiful lashes "
Trixie : wow
" she placed it on the table and grabbed a lip balm "
Chloe : what monkey?
" she applied it on her lips "
Trixie : you never put makeup on
" Chloe placed the lip balm on the table and looked at Trixie "
Chloe : yes I do
Trixie : no you don't , but you look beautiful
Chloe : thank you
Trixie : there's one thing missing
Chloe : what?

" Chloe's sat on the stool , Trixie stood behind her and grabbed a hair brush , she removed the hair tie , Chloe's beautiful blonde hair fell over her shoulder , Trixie started brushing Chloe's hair "
Trixie : all done
" Chloe looked at Trixie "
Trixie : you can't put makeup on and pull you hair into a bun
" Chloe sighed and smiled "
Chloe : thanks baby
" she kissed trixie's cheek "
Trixie : oh Lucifer is gonna love this
" she smiled excitedly , Chloe frowned "
Chloe : I'm not doing this for HIM
Trixie : did you put makeup on for daddy?
Chloe : no
Trixie : Ella?
Chloe : nope
Trixie : your boss?
Chloe : god no
Trixie : well as far as I know , you don't have any other friends , and there is no other man in your life except for daddy and Lucifer , you didn't put makeup on for daddy , that means you did it for Lucifer
Chloe : you know.. I think putting makeup on was a bad idea
" Chloe grabbed a tissue "
Trixie : no mommy , you look beautiful
" Trixie stopped her from removing her makeup l
Trixie : I still think that you put makeup on for Lucifer but please don't remove it , you really look beautiful
" Chloe sighed "
Chloe : fine
" she grabbed her phone and car keys "
Chloe : come on let's go and have a quick breakfast
" Chloe grabbed Trixie's hand and they went downstairs , Trixie sat on the stool , Chloe made toast and jelly for Trixie , she gave her orange juice and made coffee for herself , Trixie finished her breakfast "
Chloe : go grab your bag monkey
" Trixie ran to her room and took her bag , Chloe grabbed her hand and left the house , they were on the way to school , Trixie was smiling , Chloe saw her through the mirror "
Chloe : why are you smiling?
Trixie : I'll tell you but don't be mad

Trixie : it's been so long since I've seen you so happy and smiling , and it's all because of Lucifer , he's the reason right?
Chloe : why are you talking about Lucifer so much today?
Trixie : because he's the only that you talk to me about and you never talk to me about any guy , not even about daddy
Chloe : that's because you're a kid
Trixie : mom , I'm 11 , I'm a big girl now , I can handle adult stuff

Trixie : by the way , you talk to me about Lucifer , how's he any different from any other guy in your life?
" Chloe sighed "
Chloe : I know that you won't get it but there's something about him , it's irritating but charming at the same time , i have all the reasons not to fall in love with him
" she sighed "
Chloe : he pisses me off , he follows me everywhere , not that I mind , he flirts with every girl he lays his eyes on , even maze , he found a way to work with me , he became the civilian consultant for LAPD just to be with me , I mean to work with me
Trixie : okay go back to the flirting part , he flirts with maze?
Chloe : yeah , wait! How do you know maze?
Trixie : I met her last night but that's not important now , we were talking about Lucifer , he works for the LAPD just to be with you? That's cute
Chloe : yeah , I saw the look in his eyes when I got shot , he said that there is a connection between us , maze told me that he's head over heels for me , I really hate that I'm falling in love with him and I can't even admit it
Trixie : why? I think he'll be as happy as you are when he finds out
