When Yuuji went to the basement with Kato on his back, he couldn't help but worry over the girl. It was the first time that her father had fainted; it probably shocked her.
Spotting the car, Yuuji was about to open the back door to place Kato in the back seat, but was stopped by the girl herself.
"I want to sit in the passenger seat."
"But..."
"No buts. I want to sit next to you."
Yuuji reluctantly listened to his mistress and placed her in the passenger seat and pulled the seatbelt over her. The aquamarine hair muttering a small 'thank you' to him. Yuuji then got into the driver seat and started to drive off the Osaka.
"Yuuji... Why did Father faint?" Kato muttered out but it was still audible for him.
He let out a soft sigh before continuing, "I'm not sure myself either. But I heard from Jesse-san that there was a newcomer and he had somehow angered Ryoma-sama. I'm not entirely what the kid did but because of him, your father fainted."
"I don't think a newcomer will easily make Father faint though..." She frowned, thinking that it was impossible for a mere newcomer to make her father faint.
"You would have to ask Jesse-san for the details later, I'm not clear about the details. But everything was settled with the help from Jesse and the others."
"Okay..."
Just then, her phone rang, signalling a message. She switched it on and saw that it was a message from the QUARTET NIGHT's group chat.

Reiji: Kouhai-chan! How are you feeling???
Kotone:
I'm fine. Thank you for the concern, Rei.
Ai: Make sure to tell us when you arrived in Osaka.
Kotone:
Sure thing, Ai. And I promised I'll watch you guys perform.
Ranmaru: Don't bother. You should attend to your family first.
Kotone:
I know. But if I have time, I will definitely watch you guys.
Camus: Take care.
Kotone:
I will. Thanks guys. Good luck later.
Kato switched off her phone and let out a tired sigh as she leaned back and closed her eyes.
"Was it from the guys earlier?"
"Yeah. I've never told you about them, have I?" The butler and bodyguard shook his head. "They're the group I've been composing for after I've entered the Master Course and was assigned to be their composer by Shining."
"I know this doesn't really bother you much, knowing that you don't have any problems when writing songs. But was it difficult?"
"Yeah, at first. But I got to know more about them and it became easier."
"I see. That's good. I'm sure your father will be proud of your work when he wakes up." Yuuji gave a reassuring smile and the girl gave a small smile back in return, "Yeah, I hope so."

Later, QUARTET NIGHT was getting ready for the performance as they were the first one to be on stage, but was still worrying over their composer until they saw the group message that said she had arrived in Osaka.
When they passed by STARISH and Nanami, the juniors were confused that Kato wasn't with them.
"Rei-chan, isn't Kotone with you? We tried calling her but she didn't pick up her phone." Ittoki asked. Even though there was a tense atmosphere between the seniors and juniors since they were battling on being the opening artist, they couldn't help but worry over their friend.
"Kotone is not here." Kurosaki said with his eyes closed.
"Is she not feeling well?" Nanami asked with worry but the seniors only shook their heads.
"Kouhai-chan is back at Osaka." Kotobuki explained, which shocked the others.
"Did something happen back at home?" Hijirikawa asked, as he was worried about the girl and her family.
"She told us not to tell you guys, especially you, Masato." said Mikaze which only made the male even more worried.
"Please tell me, Mikaze-san. Did something happen?" He asked further and the count sighed before answering. "If this affects your performance, I don't care."
"Myu-chan..." Kotobuki frowned before Camus continued, "Her father has collapsed."
As soon as those words left his mouth, their jaws dropped slightly while Hijirikawa could feel that his color had drained from his face.
"Ryoma-san... fainted?" He quivered.
"Yes. We don't know about the details. But she doesn't want to make you guys worry so that's why we didn't tell you about it earlier." Kotobuki smiled sadly.
STARISH and Nanami couldn't help but feel sympathy towards their friend and her father, as they have met him once, except for Hijirikawa.
"Now, lighten up! Kouhai-chan wouldn't want to see those looks on your face! I'm sure everything will be alright." The oldest male said, hoping to cheer them up. "Now go prepare yourself because we'll be taking the stage."
They stared at QUARTET NIGHT who held a hardened gaze at them as STARISH glared back at them with a determined look as well. Nanami was just wishing both of them good luck in her mind before they headed off to their designed place.

As Yuuji drove along the familiar road, Kato was confused and spoke out her mind, "Aren't we going to the hospital?"
"Aya-sama said that it's okay for Ryoma-sama to stay at home." Yuuji explained when they arrived in front of the estate.
"But isn't it wise to go to the hospital instead?" She asked, as she got down the car with Yuuji, who replied, "I tried to reason with her but she insisted. Same goes to Jesse-san as well."
"I see..."
When they entered, Kato was greeted by the servants and other bodyguards as per usual and the both of them headed to Ryoma's room.
Yuuji knocked on the door and told them it was the both of them, before hearing a soft 'come in'. When he opened the door, they saw that Ryoma was in bed, still unconscious, with Aya who sat by his side with a frown and Jesse, who was standing by the door.
Kato looked towards the male and couldn't help but feel thankful for him to stay by her father's side.
Jesse, a guy in his early thirties with light brown hair and matching eyes. He's Ryoma's right-hand man and apparently his junior when Kato's father was in university. Ever since Jesse got to know the man, he swore to protect him and serve him which took a while before Ryoma finally accepted it. And since then, the both of them were inseparable.
"Glad to see you return, Kotone-sama. It's been a while." Jesse gave a small towards her.
He was still handsome at his age and Kato was blinded by his aura. "Yes, it has, Jesse. Thank you for staying by my father's side."
"Not a problem."
Kato walked towards her mother and placed her hand onto her's.
"How's Father, Mom?"
However, Aya just stayed quiet as she continued to narrow her eyes at her husband who was still unconscious and Kato was surprised to see this side of her mother.
She turned towards Jesse who only shrugged his shoulders, saying that Aya has been like that ever since she heard that Ryoma has collapsed.
Yuuji stood next to Jesse with a worried look.
"Jesse, what exactly happened?" Kato asked as she rubs her mom's back, hoping to calm her down from whatever was on her mind.
The brown hair male gave a tired sigh before answering her, "This new kid, a newbie around 20, had joined our group about two months ago and was working with one of Ryoma-san's business partners. However, rumors spread that the kid was a spy working with another group and when we searched into it, Ryoma-san was furious at the truth and lashed out at the kid. Which resulted in him collapsing."
"But how can such a mere incident make him faint?" Yuuji asked what Kato had asked earlier but immediately shut his mouth when he noticed the deadpanned look on Jesse's face sent towards him.
"Ryoma-san was probably tired from all the workload." He replied, facing the young mistress as Yuuji let out a sigh of relief.
"I didn't think Father could get that tired..." Kato mumbled before looking at her laying father.
About a minute or two, Ryoma's eyes opened slightly but quickly shut his eyes when light blinded him.
"Father! You're awake!" Kato smiled a little as Ryoma opened his eyes and looked around the room, before slowly sitting up with the help from Aya and their daughter.
"How long..."
"6 hours, dumbass." Kato and Yuuji flinched at the tone from Aya, whereas Jesse sighed and Ryoma sweatdropped.
"How are you feeling, Father?"
"I'm fine. Sorry that you have to come all the way here, Kotone. Don't worry, I'm fine." said Ryoma as he patted his daughter's head affectionately.
"Utter bullsh*t..." Aya muttered out and Kato and Yuuji couldn't help but flinch since it was the first time that they saw the lady angry.
Ryoma started sweating bullets and stuttered out, "A-aya? W-what's wrong?"
And of course, it was the first time they saw the usually stern looking male, was actually stuttering under his wife's gaze. Jesse just let out another sigh as he watched the two, as if he had watched this scene occur before.
"What's wrong? I'll tell you what's wrong. You've been overworking yourselves, haven't you?" Aya glared and Ryoma shivered in fear. "W-well..."
"Didn't I tell you to stop overworking yourselves?! Did you seriously break our promise we made?! Look! You even made Ko-chan worried about you! How can you do that?! Baka! Baka! Baka!" At first the lady was angry about her husband but soon she turned back to her usual self as she continued to hit him like a child.
"Ack! I'm sorry! Stop hitting me, woman!"
"Apology not accepted! Do you know how worried I was?! I don't want the same thing to happen when we were in high school, you hear me?!"
"I'm sorry! So, stop hitting me!"
"No! Baka!"
Yes, the two of them have been lovers since they were in highschool.
"Kotone! Jesse! Yuuji! Save me!"
But the three only deadpanned at the male.
"Traitors!"
"Don't drag them into your mess!" And with one final punch on the head, Ryoma remained quiet whereas Aya huffed.
"What... just happened?" Kato asked slowly.
"I have no idea, young mistress..."
"Don't worry. It's normal."
Kato and Yuuji looked at the male with disbelief but he only shrugged his shoulders before walking towards his friend.
"Ryoma-san, I've dealt with the problem, so you don't have to worry about it anymore."
"Good. That bastard, if I ever laid my eyes on him again, I'm--" Ryoma immediately shut his mouth when he saw the look on Aya's face.
"This is a first..." Kato muttered out.
"Ko-chan, I'm sorry that you have to come all the way here. The guys had a live performance, right? I'm sorry that you couldn't go and support them." Aya said with a sad smile as she caressed her daughter's cheeks.
"It's okay, Mom. I'll just watch it on my phone later. Father's health matters most."
"Look at you! Having your daughter worrying over you!"
"Ack! Seriously! What's with those punches of yours?!"
"You're the one who taught me!"
"I didn't know you would be this aggressive! You used to be so much kinder!"
"Well now you know!"
After that whole thing, Ryoma sighed before facing Kato.
"Kotone, tomorrow I want you to follow me."
"To where?" Kato tilted her head.
"We're going to pay a visit to the Kikuchi's household. You've met them before, right?"
"Yes, but may I know why?"
"I need to apologize to them for what that bastard did and it's been awhile since you've met Shohei's sons."
Kato thought for a while before agreeing with her father. "Sure." She doesn't remember the sons faces but she did remember a certain someone's personality and couldn't help but sigh.
I thought I could go back to the others tomorrow, but I guess not. And I would have to see a certain someone... Ugh... Well, at least the older brother is mature.
"Good, then we'll head off in the afternoon tomorrow." said Ryoma as he turned towards Jesse who bowed.
"I'll get everything prepared."
"Thanks, Jesse."
"Ko-chan, why don't you head to your room first. There's something I'd like to talk to your father about." Aya said before facing the two bodyguards. "Alone."
"Good luck, father/ Ryoma-sama/ Ryoma-san."
"Don't leave me!"
When the three left, they prayed that the head of the Kato household could survive.
"I'll be heading to my room now. See you guys at dinner later." said Kato.
"Get some rest, Kotone-sama. You've come a long way." said Jesse and Kato thanked him.
"If you need anything, just call." Yuuji added and the girl just waved him off as she headed towards her room.
She plopped down on her bed as she quickly turned on her phone, hoping that it wasn't too late to watch the live show.
"Just in time..."
"Super Star Sports!" The announcer started and Kato could feel her heart pounding. Anxious? Excitement? Maybe both.
"As you know, it's the world's greatest sports festival. Athletes from around the world gather to demonstrate their power, speed, and technique in this premier international event. For the first time in 50 years, this special event will be held in our nation. Who will win the honor of starting the opening ceremony? The entry concert for that honorable position starts now."
"This is the start of the night of destiny."
"Who will perform first at the entry concert?"
"Oh! They're first? And they didn't tell me?" Kato pouted and continued watching.
"Shining glamorous and sexy on this dark night, four jewels glittering with individuality. Yes, it's QUARTET NIGHT!"
And of course, the fans started screaming.
"Piercing all the girls' hearts with his seductive smile is Kotobuki Reiji!"
