"Yoosung," Saeyoung stares at his computer screen as he adresses the younger boy. He's rummaging through the kitchen with a his hair still tied up from cleaning. "Why do you keep giving Y/n a hard time? You saw how much she is going through."
"So just because she's going through a lot she gets to make fun of me?" He slams the refrigerator shut and turns around to face Seven's back. He hasn't even been gaming recently, but his purple eyes are wrapped in dark bags. "Everyone is always so quick to take her side—"
"Stop playing the victim, Yoosung." Seven clicks through his screens, then refreshes the page. There is still no major movement coming from the transmitter. "You clearly attacked Y/n in the chat. She even apologized and tried to sympathize with you. At this point... I think you're just pushing your pain onto her."
"It's not like that!" His cheeks heat and his palms begin to dampen. He turns and faces the cupboards, focusing instead on a colorful box of expired cereal. "I just don't like the way she was lying in the chat. She is trying to take the kind warm hearted Rika that I know away from me."
The redhead spares a moment to look over his shoulder. Yoosung is hunched over the counter while crushing a cardboard box. His face is hidden. "The one who left is Rika. She is the one that changed too. Y/n is the victim, Yoosung. She was the one that was taken away." He sighs. "After learning all of this about Rika, there's no logical way for you to continue to defending her."
"She's my cousin!" His hand slams down on the surface of the counter. "Isn't trusting and believing in her more than enough of a good reason?!"
"You're in denial, Yoosung."
His gut wrenches, tears slipping out of his eyes. A lump swells in his throat, squeezing it closed. It's only a whisper. "I loved her."
Silence follows.
"I'm going on a walk."

~~ Over the Phone ~~
Yoosung: WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING ME?!
Yoosung: WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!?
Y/n(???): I thought you would've been happier to hear from me.
Yoosung: Rika?!
Yoosung: Oh my god, is it really you?
Yoosung: You're really alive?!?!
Rika: Yes, I am alive.
Yoosung: Why didn't you contact me? Where have you been all this time? You didn't really start a cult, did you?
Rika: It seems you are more aware than I thought you were.
Yoosung: What does that mean??
Yoosung: You didn't do it, right?"
Rika: I suppose the outside world may view it as a cult. But to me, it is just a place where I save lost souls.
Yoosung: That's so nice of you...
Yoosung: I knew that you were a kind person! But no one would believe me...
Rika: You don't need to cry.
Rika: I don't expect outsiders to understand.
Yoosung: I want to try to!
Yoosung: I'll understand what happened and then I can explain it to the RFA so that you can come back!
Rika: Yoosung.
Yoosung: Yes?
Rika: I have something that I need to ask you.
Yoosung: What is it?
Rika: Where is Y/n?
Yoosung: ...isn't she with you?
Rika: She went... astray.
Rika: I need your help to find her.
Rika: You will help me right? Or are you going to pick her over me too?
Yoosung: ...I promised I wouldn't.
Yoosung: And Seven will get mad at me again.
Rika: So he's above me too.
Yoosung: No!
Yoosung: It's not like that...
Rika: I'm running out of time... I need your help Yoosung
Yoosung: ...just let me ask three things.
Rika: Okay.
Yoosung: Why did you leave the RFA?
Rika: I was needed more elsewhere.
Rika: You know...
Rika: I regret leaving you and everyone else behind everyday. Soon... I hope to bring you to where I am.
Yoosung: .........
Yoosung: ......I want to be with you again too.
Rika: ...
Yoosung: Why did you kidnap Y/n?
Rika: ...I don't want to say something that will hurt you.
Rika: No. You're no longer a child. I can tell you.
Yoosung: Rika.
Rika: Y/n is a threat to everyone in the RFA.
Rika: She was manipulating you all and planned to hurt you— I couldn't stand back and watch.
Rika: I had to protect you.
Rika: If she gets away now, you, Saeran, the RFA...
Rika: No one will be safe.
Rika: Please help me protect everyone!
Rika: Tell me, Yoosung. Where is she?
Yoosung: You mean... she was lying all this time?
Rika: Yes. You caught onto her so well... Even when the others couldn't see it, you did.
Rika: I'm proud of you.
Yoosung: Ok... I'll tell you.
Rika: Thank you, Yoosung.
Rika: I knew I could count on you.
Yoosung: She and Saeran should be in one of the trucks that deliver food to your cul— base right now
Yoosung: There's one more thing I wanted to ask.
Yoosung: Why didn't you at least stick around until my high school graduation?
Yoosung: That day...
Yoosung: That day I was planning on telling you that I loved you.
Yoosung: ...
Yoosung: You must be shocked...
Yoosung: I'm sorry...
Yoosung: I won't ask anything of you.
Yoosung: I just want to be together again.
Yoosung: .........
Yoosung: ..................Rika??
Yoosung: Are you listening?
Yoosung: Did you hear what I said??
Yoosung: Rika???
Yoosung: ........................
Yoosung: I can't believe it.
Yoosung: she hung up.
~~ End of Call ~~
───────────〔✿〕───────────
Rika slams down on the red end call button and a wild laugh punches through her lips. In one swift movement, she chucks the device against the white wall to her left. It crashes with a loud bang and glass paints the corner of the room.
MC huffs heavily. Her arms wrap around her center and she bunches over. Blood paints her lips, her brown hair is dark and plastered against her face. Rika glares at the bloody mess. It looks just like Sally did when she got hit by a car. A smile creases her lips. "Get the workers in the lot to capture them. Have any truck that has been dispatched pull over." Rika crosses her arms, the toe of her black heel pushing down on MC's side and flipping her onto her back. "Get up. Or else your little Y/n will meet a hell of a lot more harm than you."
Her hand wipes away at her mouth and the blonde woman allows her to roll back onto her stomach. With each movement, hot pain tears through MC. Her muscles strain, her bones groan. Eventually, her legs crawl beneath her and she slowly presses her weight on to them. Head spinning, she stands.
"Yes, my Savior."
