Sahana P.O.V.
"Time for my story."
Sami and I put our attention towards Cassia now.
"Like Sami, I met someone too."
"And coincidentally it connects to Jai too."
Confusion was plastered onto our faces.
"Get comfortable guys."
"Yesterday I went to work, and it was normal until lunchtime."
"A man then entered into the pharmacy."
"He was looking down so I couldn't see his face clearly."
"He was rubbing his head, it seemed pretty bad."
"The man needed headache medicine, so I went to go get it for him," we nodded as she continued,
"But when I came back, he looked up and we both made eye contact."
I unknowingly slapped Sami in excitement,
"WHY THE FUCK AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO'S GETTING SLAPPED?!"
"Oh sorry hehe, it was an accident." I said rubbing her arm.
"ANYWAYS," Cassia said, "We both made eye contact and at the SAME TIME we asked,
"Have we met before?"
"We both definitely recognized each other."
"I tried finding anything familiar from his face, but nothing."
"Guys when I tell you he's a Greek God, HE'S A MOTHERFUACKIN GREEK GOD."
"Wait so who was it?" Sami asked rubbing her arm.
Cassia smiled, "I finally figured out that the man was."
"Jai's best friend."
"Kai Adair."
Our eyes widened, "The guy who was next to Jai when we met at Choco's?" Sami asked.
"Woah. Everything connects." I said, surprised.
Cassia nodded. "Thankfully though, Kai remembered me too."
"Idon't know how, when back at the café I didn't stare at him the whole time."
I nodded giving a side look to Sami, "She's right. I've had my own 'moment' with him too."
She pouted and whispered close to me,
"I want my own moment too."
I whispered back, "You can't. You have a boyfriend. All your 'moments' should only involve Sidharth." I giggled.
Sami rolled her eyes pushing my face away.
"What?"
We turned to Cassia, "Oh nothin."
"Ok so where was I?" she asked.
"Greek God." Sami and I answered at the same time.
"Oh yeah, HES LITERALLY A GREEK GOD GUYS."
"And every time he smiled at me, I'm not joking, my knees became weak.
"Every,"
"Single,"
"Time."
I whispered to Sami, "Is this bitch in love with Kai ALREADY?" we snickered and continued listening.
"Then suddenly I thought I got a call but turns out it was Kai's phone."
"And the person who called was in fact,"
she turned and looked at me,
"Your man, Jai Leonis."
My heart skipped a beat.
I heard Sami giggle and slapped her arm again.
This time on purpose.
"How many times do I have to tell you to shut up Cassia."
"Ok, ok. He's not your man."
She rolled her eyes.
"Yet."
"But then," she stayed silent.
"But then?" Sami asked.
Cassia looked at both of us, "He smiled."
"And I fell."
Sami and I burst out laughing,
"YOU FELL?! BAHAHA, DUMBASSS!!"
"SHUT THE HELL UP GUYS,"
"HE CAUGHT ME."
We stopped laughing,
"Oh wait what? That's cute." I said surprised.
"YEAH IT WAS."
"BUT THEN HE SMILED AGAIN."
"and this time..." Cassia's voice became quieter.
"This time?" Sami and I asked.
"Ugh, I acted like my eyes were itching so I couldn't look at him." she covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.
Undoubtingly, Sami and I burst out laughing once again,
"WHAT WAS HE THINKING THEN?! BAHAHA!!!"
"HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT KAI WAS THINKING?!" Cassia groaned.
"But I know one thing for sure," she and I turned to Sami, "Kai DEFINITELY thought you were on something AHAHAHA."
I joined the laughing, as we both laid on the ground with tears rolling down the sides of our face.
"YA'LL BETTER STOP RIGHT THE FUCK NOW, OR ELSE."
I brought myself up,
"OR ELSE WHAT CASSIA? WATCHU GONNA DO HMM??" I teased.
"Can ya'll just shut up and let me finish the storyyy." Cassia whined, but then lost her patience and grabbed a pillow bulleting it towards us.
"Fine, fine, we're listening." Sami said.
"SO after the whole eye incident he was starting to leave." Cassia spoke.
Sami then whispered in my ear, "Watch him turn around."
"BUT THEN HE STOPPED AND TURNED AROUND."
I looked at Sami surprised,
"Told ya." She smirked.
"And then he asked me for lunch."
"But I had to decline since i already had food." Cassia looked down disappointed.
"DUDE WHY DIDN'T YOU GO WITH HIM?!" I asked.
"I just told you dumbass, I already had food."
"Man, FUCK YOUR FOOD."
"YOU JUST MISSED A ONE TIME OPPORTUNITY WITH HIM."
"Ah, ah, ah Sahana. That's where you're wrong," Cassia shook her finger, "Kai said maybe next time."
"So that means he's going to ask again." She smiled.
"Oh, well that's good." I gave a thumbs up.
"But yeah, that was it. I could've finished my story sooner IF BOTH YOUR ASSES DIDN'T KEEP ON INTERRUPTING."
"Ok well, now that we both shared ours,"
"Sahana do you have something?"
Cassia and Sami looked at me.
I froze.
How the hell am I supposed to tell them everything that happened at Blaire's party, then afterwards I fainted and Jai brought me back to life?!
"U-uh w-well,"
"Yup, she has something." Sami said nodding her head.
"H-how did you know?!"
Sami gave me a *are you dumb or ARE YOU DUMB* look,
"I figured out right away by the way you just stuttered."
"Hell, even Cassia could figure that out."
I looked up at Cassia nodding but then realized what Sami said, "HEY!"
I sighed, "Ok, when I tell you guys this, PROMISE ME that you will stay calm."
"PROMISE ME."
"Promise." they both responded.
I took in a deep breath,
"Basically last week, I had to go to this celebratory party hosted by my friend who's the CEO of her makeup company, B.R.L Beauty, I think ya'll know it,"
I didn't even let them respond and just tried to let it all out as fast as I could,
"Anyways, coincidentally met Jai there, and we went to the bar where an old ass man tried flirting with me and when I was gonna go OFF on that mofo Jai took me away outside to cool me down, where I thanked him then we went back in to see Blaire's speech, then she called up Jai, with me after, and eventually it became late so Jai was about to head out and I offered to walk him out, and now we were outside, admiring the night sky and it SNOWED, then out of nowhere before he left, he patted all the snow off my hair NO BIGGIE and said I looked beautiful."
I let out a breath and inhaled again,
"But that isn't all of it. I went back to the bar, where the bartender and I had a really nice chat, nothin much, just how he thought that Jai has a 'thing for me' or whatever, PFFT I don't even know what he was talking about, but then as I was driving home I felt REALLY hungry and when I entered into my apartment, I fainted, but then out of nowhere I opened my eyes to see JAI HAHA WHAT A SURPRISE RIGHT? So turns out he basically saved my life that night and even made me dinner haha, then we talked for a little bit about the party again and he left. That's it. Nothin much really."
I awkwardly laughed.
Cassia and Sami just stared at me with their mouths open.
Then they looked at each other.
Suddenly, then got up and grabbed their bags,
"We're leaving, goodbye."
"WAIT WHAT NO WHY?!" I grabbed both of their arms.
Cassia turned around, "You're kidding me right?"
"Huh, what do you mean?" I asked.
"WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU TELL THIS TO US SOONER SAHANA?!" Cassia slightly yelled, "YOU FUCKING FAINTED AND DIDN'T EVEN THINK TO CALL US AFTER JUST TO SAY THAT YOU'RE OKAY?! YOUR ASS IS SO GODDAMN LUCKY THAT JAI CAME OR ELSE YOU WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WAKE UP AND SEE LIGHT THE NEXT DAY."
I let go of them and hung my head down, "I'm sorry."
Suddenly, I felt 2 pairs of arms wrap around me, "You're ok though right?" Cassia asked.
I nodded and hugged them back.
They eventually pulled away and Sami spoke, "But more importantly, was Jai a good cook? What did he make for you?"
I laughed, "Yeah he made an omelet that was AMAZING."
Then out of nowhere I felt a sudden tingle,
"ACHOO!!"
I wiped my nose.
Cassia and Sami stared at me.
"OH HELL NAH, WE AIN'T GETTIN SICK FROM YOUR ASS, GOODBYE."
Cassia said before quickly walking towards my door with Sami and closing it behind them.
"Well, bye."
"ACHOO!"
