Currently at the bleachers cheering for the boys' volleyball team. I'm happy that I could see my boyfriend doing his best, well I hope he is.
I cheer and scream his name whenever he scores a point, although it is the spikers that actually score more points but without Kenma, no one's going to be able to score.
The whistle blew and they won! I jumped rejoicing. My friends watched me jump, giving me very judgmental looks.
"Look at her cheer for him, pfft you seem so different." I glared at my friend Jun.
"Shut up." And my friends just laughed at me. "I'll wait for them. Patiently."
"Okay." Mika said.
They sat back and I went to the door, I stood by the doorstep waiting for the boys to come. I tap my feet continuously, as I grew impatient.
"I will wait patiently." Jun mocked, exaggerating it a bit. I glared at him hard. "If you will wait patiently then sit here."
I rolled my eyes at him and stayed by the door. Ju.st then, jolly voices were heard from the outside. I peek through the wide open doors and there I saw the team.
"Oh it's (Y/n)-senpai!" Lev greeted and I just smiled. "If you're here.. Then you must be waiting for Kenma-san!" I blushed and I could hear them starting to tease me— us?
"What are you doing standing here? Go back to your friends." Kenma coldly said, first thing when our eyes met. I blinked a few times to process what he just said.
"Okay..."
I turned around and went up to my friends. I sat in between Jun and Mika. I tried my best not to cry, but my chest does feel incredibly heavy.
"Hey it's okay..." Mika tried comforting me, I smiled a little at her.
I rested my head on her shoulder, feeling tears slowly fall from my eyes. She turned to me and wrapped her arms around me. She pat my back whispering comforting words into my ears.
I stopped crying after two minutes, I didn't want to cry just because of that but I still had to let it out. We just sat here and watched the matches continue on.
We were watching Fukurodani, and slowly but surely, the three of us got hooked on to the game. I had my eyes on their setter, Akaashi. I was merely comparing him with Kenma but I jumped up my seat when he did a dump and scored. My friends and I joyfully cheered for them.
Jun tapped me on the shoulder and I turn my body to him, not leaving my eyes of the game making him tap me again.
"I'm hungry." I put all my attention on Jun this time. "Aren't you guys hungry as well?" I took out my wallet and handed him money, his mouth hang open.
"I'm also actually hungry, but you go and buy." I said looking back to the game.
"Me too." Mika said and handed Jun her money too. "Oh make sure to separate our food into different bags." Jun glared at the two of us and I chuckled.
Mika and I decided to sit, feeling tired from jumping and cheering for Fukurodani. They scored another pointed and I'm jumping my butt on the seat.
I would hug Mika when they get a point, I got extremely excited seeing their match. Jun came back and and handed us our food, and drinks. He also returned the change but I gave him mine.
I carefully opened my food while keeping my eyes on the game. Just then someone stood before me, it was Kenma. I tried to look at the match by moving my head away from him.
"(Y/n)." He called and I hummed in response. "Let's go." This time I looked at him. He had his bag on already.
"Why??" He didn't answer.
He grabbed me by my wrist, carrying my bag and dragged me out the gymnasium. Kenma seemed angry so I couldn't speak up. He was dragging me away from the venue.
We stopped in front of a bench, he made me sit so I did, and he sat after. We were only a three minute walk away from the venue.
"Are you mad?" I asked and he leaned against the bench.
"Eat your food."
I wanted to say something but I decided not to. I started to eat just like he told me to do. It was only a burger so it was easy to eat.
I quietly ate. There was dead silence between us which made me feel awkward. Also he was about a ruler away from me which made me sad.
While I ate, I observed my surroundings. Kids with their parents, couples walking around. I kept my eyes on those people. But then I froze when I felt Kenma's head on my shoulder.
"Don't hangout with boys." He said. I looked at him and his eyes were on me.
"Jun's my friend." I replied, taking another bite from the burger.
"But still...." I continued to eat not replying to him. "Also, stop cheering for someone else." He said, almost like he was trying to keep it to himself. I turned my body to him, making him lift his head off my shoulder.
"Are you jealous?" He avoided my gaze. "Hmm, I see."
"I'm not." I chuckled, he denied after he just gave silence means yes.
Days later we had school. I'm seated in class, admiring the view outside the window. Although it only shows the school, I still liked the view.
The bell rang. It's time for lunch. I didn't really feel like eating so I just decided to write my notes. Someone suddenly sat in front of me, it was Kenma.
Kenma didn't bother me or say anything so I continued writing my notes. I studied Math for the quiz later. Just then I could hear quiet snores from Kenma, it was enough to catch my attention. I reached for his head and brushed his hair away from his face.
"(Y/n)! You want coke?" I turned to see Jun. He held out a bottle of coke. I was about to grab it when Kenma grabbed it instead.
"She hasn't eaten anything yet." Kenma looked annoyed just to see Jun.
"O-Okay.. Well then, (Y/n) I'll be out." I nodded and mouthed an apology to him.
"You didn't have to look at him that way." I said, turning to my notes. Looking at them, trying to see if I had forgotten anything.
"You're too close with him." He said. I looked at him and he was frowning. "Don't hangout with boys."
"Again, Jun's my friend." I said.
"I'll hangout with you later then." I stopped writing upon hearing his words. He never came to my house, even since we started dating. He stood and left to go back to his classroom.
I waited for hours, excited that he will be hanging out with me. I listen to the teachers and became attentive to class. I'm just so happy that he's coming over.
Hours later, the bell rang and it's time to go home. They didn't have practice which made me happier. As I fixed my things someone called me.
"(Y/n), you're boyfriend's here."
I turned to the door and he was there. His face was kinda red, I guess he's shy and embarrassed having to hear someone announce his arrival.
I happily went up to him and he gave me a small smile. He reached for my hand and intertwined our fingers. I looked back and forth from our hands and him, he looked away.
We walked home and I couldn't help but smile. He never held my hand in public, or as he walks me home. Well he will as long as we're alone, but today he held it voluntarily in front of everybody.
We arrived at my place and we went straight to my room. My mom wasn't around, probably at work. I placed my bag on my bed.
"I'll take a shower.." I informed him.
Kenma sat on the floor, leaning on the bed frame. I kneeled in front of him and he flinched. I guess he was surprised.
"Do you need anything?" He asked and I shook my head. "Then what—" I kissed him on the cheek.
I stood and left him dumbfounded. I took a change of clothes from my closet and went to the bathroom. Before I closed the door I turned to him.
"You could play video games as you wait." I smiled and closed the door.
I took a shower for 15 minutes. Usually my afternoon showers take more time than this, but since Kenma was here I decided to make it quicker. I didn't want him to wait. As I showered I would hear gunshots from his game. I would also hear zombie noises. He has more games than I thought he had.
I put my laundry into the basket. Walking out of the bathroom with my pajamas on and a towel, trying my best to dry my hair.
"Let me dry your hair." Kenma gestured me to sit beside him and so I did.
He took the towel from me and gently dried my hair with the towel. It actually felt good, it was like a massage. Well I guess you could say he was used to doing it this way, considering the length of his hair.
Kenma continued to dry my hair for the next few minutes. Removing the towel when he was done.
"There." He smiled.
"Thank you."
I didn't realize until now but my face is so close to his. My smile faded and he looked at me with concern. I planted a soft kiss on his forehead. He looked surprised. I was about to move when he cupped my cheeks, and pulled me in for a kiss.
I was taken aback but I decided to reply to them. He slipped his tongue in my mouth which surprised me. This is the first time in the two months we've dated, the first kiss.
I broke away as I ran out of air, I panted. His eyes met mine and we just stared into each other's eyes.
"What's with you today?" I asked.
"You kissing my forehead made it feel like the right moment to kiss you." He smiled. He sounded comfortable and confident.
"Our first kiss." I smiled and he kissed me on the forehead. "But where did you learn to use your tongue?" I raised a brow at him and he chuckled. "It's so not like you."
"You don't have to know that."
After a few minutes, Kenma played his games again. I decided to read a book. I lay my head on his lap, turning to the side and then I started reading.
The only noise in the room were the sound effects coming from his game. I glanced at his face and I couldn't help but find him cute.
"What are you staring at?" I blinked, looking back at my book. "I should've kissed you when you had you're eyes on me."
My face flushed red and I hit his arm slightly with my book. Hitting him made him let go of the PSP. I placed my hands on my head, expecting for it to hit me. But it didn't, I looked up and he had caught it.
"Don't do that again. It's dangerous." I hummed in response.
As I continued to read the book, my eyes started to feel heavy. I tried blinking and opening my eyes wide to stop me from falling asleep. But just a few minutes later, my eyes completely closed and I fell asleep.
kenma's pov
I heard the book fall to the floor, catching my attention. I paused my game and glanced at (Y/n). She fell asleep. I tucked strands of hair behind her ear, and brushed my fingers through her hair.
I carried her, gently placing her on the bed. I pulled her blanket over her and watched her sleep.
"I love you."
I pecked her on the lips and forehead. I carefully got off her bed. I picked my bag up and left her room. I turned the lights off and closed the door behind me.
I walked home. I entered the gates to our residence, spotting someone on the porch. It's Ana. I tried making my way to the door but she blocked me.
"Hey Kenma. You said you liked me. Don't date that girl (Y/n)." She demanded. She looked angry as if I did something wrong to her.
"Don't block my way."
"Kenma, you said you liked me, remember? I promised you I'd date you, if you dated her and broke her heart. Now's the time to do that." She said, I slightly pushed her away and made my way to the door.
"You're being delusional. I'm not a fuck boy like Kuroo. Plus I never liked you." I glared at her.
"Yes you did, last year when we were in freshmen year." I rolled my eyes at her, she grabbed my arm and I pulled away from her grip. "Kenma, you have to remember. I received a letter from you, a love letter."
"What the hell are you talking about? Please leave, I have a girlfriend." I glared at her. I took my keys out and unlocked the front door. Just as I was about to enter, she hugged me from behind.
"Why are you like that? You said you'd date her to date me after you break her heart! You never liked her." I turned around removing her arms off my waist.
"I never said anything like that. I dated (Y/n) because I love her. Because I fell in love with her. I never liked you, I don't like you, and I will never like you." I was about to turn around when she snaked her arms around my neck, kissing me. She started touching sensitive spots.
I pushed her away. She almost slipped her tongue in my mouth. She lost her balance.
"Ana stop!" I glared at her.
"Kenma, I'll make you mine." With that she left.
I entered my house and as I closed the door, I dropped to the floor leaning on the door. I could feel my eyes water.
What am I going to tell (Y/n)? She won't be happy when she hears this. I don't want to hurt her. I hugged my knees close to me. I hope no one filmed that.
I will tell her first thing in the morning.

I woke up. I looked around and Kenma was gone. I panicked but then I saw the clock. It's the next day. I must've fallen asleep. I feel bad. It's Saturday morning.
I checked my phone and there were endless notifications with me tagged on them. It was the group chat. The captions were all the same. 'Kenma's cheating on you!' I got nervous. I played the video they sent.
I couldn't believe my eyes. Kenma was kissing a girl. I felt my chest tighten, but I tried convincing myself.
"Kenma would never, he's not that kind of guy." I repeatedly said to myself, tears falling from my eyes.
"(Y/n)! You're boyfriend is here!"
I rushed downstairs, wiping my tears away. Kenma didn't look well, it was like he didn't sleep all night. He walked up to me and rested his head on my shoulder.
"(Y/n).. I-I'm not cheating on you. I know you saw the video. I would never cheat on you." He wrapped his arms around me. "I-It's Ana. She was waiting at the porch, s-she kissed me. Then s-she started touching me. I was being harassed, (Y/n) please believe me."
I pat him on the back, sighing. My shoulder was wet, he was crying. I broke away from his hug and took his hand, bringing him up to my room.
I locked the door and we sat on the floor. He looked extremely uncomfortable. I brushed my worries off. I wanted to listen.
"(Y/n), you hate me don't you?" I shook my head.
"Kozume." He frowned hearing me call him by his last name. "Explain."
"Ana was saying things like I never really loved you. She was talking about a promise that she said I made. But I never made one. It was about me dating you then breaking up with you, just so that I could get her to date me." He pursed his lips. "But that's not true!" I just listened to him.
"So then?"
"She touched my..." He said and I nodded. "(Y/n), please don't believe their words. I never liked her." Seeing Kenma like this is like seeing a baby crying. "I fell in love with you since we were first years. The feeling was foreign to me so it took me a while, then you confessed..." He looked away. I held his hands, he returned his attention to me and I looked into his eyes.
"I was scared for a moment, but then you explained. I never thought you'd come all the way here to explain." I started. "I almost thought it was all true, but hearing you cleared my doubt." I smiled and he smiled too.
"I love you.. okay? I also said this to you yesterday but you were asleep." I kissed him on the cheek.
"I think, I dreamt about you saying that." I chuckled and he kissed me on the lips.
"I'm sorry for coming so early. I'll get your breakfast." He stood and went downstairs.
Kenma... You're so mysterious. I love you so much.
